You have to seat yourself, so secure a table before they're all taken. Once you sit down, time will fly--the vibes are definitely vibing at Tary Coffee! We started with the Scrambled Eggs in Brioche. Fluffy scrambled eggs served on a slightly toasted brioche bun. The light cream cheese spread on the bread added a delicious creaminess that paired really well with the eggs. We also tried the Royal Benedict with Smoked Salmon. The poached eggs were cooked just right and paired beautifully with the smoked salmon. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast combinations! And, for a little treat, we had the Baursaq--fried dough served with a side of raspberry jam. The slight tartness of the jam balanced nicely with the subtle sweetness of the fried dough. Such a great pairing with your morning coffee!

It turned out to be a cozy little spot with a great selection of pastries and a few indoor tables, making it a nice place to escape the rain for a bit. The staff was friendly, and I ordered a hot latte along with a chocolate croissant. The croissant was absolutely delicious, fresh, flaky, and definitely the highlight. My only disappointment was that even though I was dining in, my latte was still served in a paper cup instead of a "for here" mug. The croissant was also handed to me in a paper bag rather than on a plate, which made eating it at the table a little awkward. It's a small detail, but I think serving dine-in orders on proper plates and in nice ceramic mugs would make the experience feel much nicer.Other than that, it was a lovely little café and a perfect place to warm up while waiting for the rain to pass.

We used the kiosk to place our orders and indicated we will dine in. The whole experience was mediocre at best because of several reasons: 1) Despite a dine-in indication at the kiosk check-out, our order arrived in a paper bag with single-use disposables. 2) They were not particularly busy but we had to wait 25 minutes for our order to be ready. 3) Our order had four items and two of them were missing at pick-up. Here is what we tried: latte, pain au raisins, carrot curry soup, and quiche with spinach and mushroom. The latte and soup were lukewarm. The pain au raisins is soft and packed with golden raisins but I think it could have had a better caramelization. The quiche was tender and creamy but it did not come with the salad that was indicated on the menu.

It was so cute inside and while I wish there was more indoor seating there was a lots of space to sit outside which I also enjoyed after finishing my food. This location was in close proximity to The London House Hotel. It was literally around the corner. If you would rather not eat at the hotel, I strongly suggest checking out this spot. When we walked in we saw the computer screens that are utilized to place orders. However, the staff did mention that if we had any questions about the menu we were free to ask. I ordered the turkey bacon & cheese sandwich and my friend opted for the original royal west. I had coffee to drink and my friend had the honey lemonade. After paying we secured a table at the rear of the restaurant. When our food was ready they simply call out the name you placed the order under and you must retrieve your own food. This is bet much a self serve restaurant! The egg sandwich was just as good as I recall it being the first time I tried it. The eggs are soft, flavorful and just melt in your mouth. Everything about this sandwich is positive! My friend did not realize his sandwich came with an over medium egg. He does not like over medium eggs so he did not enjoy his sandwich as much as I enjoyed mine. However, I let him try mine and he understood why I was hyping this place up!! Now what he did enjoy was that honey lemonade. He is still taking about that lemonade! The only suggestion I have is to allow customers to sample the drinks. When we were leaving my friend was going to get a lemonade to go, but said since he enjoyed the lemonade so much he would give the tea a try. I asked if he could sample it first and I was told they don't offer samples, unfortunately he did not enjoy the tea as much as he enjoyed the lemonade.
