When we asked get another sandwich or refund for it, we informed that the sandwich was put in the bag and it was not their problem. They were very rude especially, the woman who said she "personally" made the sandwich. I figured for 120.00 worth of food they would at least given a refund for the sandwich. I have been to the Board & Brew in southern CA many times. I was happy to hear they opened one up in Tempe. I went here with my son and his girlfriend. The girl that took our order was not very friendly and had a RBF. I ordered the veggie sandwich and it tasted just like it always does - great! It is a big sandwich and I could only eat half. I enjoyed coming here for lunch this week. I sat at the bar and was able to order from the bartender instead of going up to the counter which was convenient. I ordered the Turkado sandwich and it was as good as I remembered from my trips to Del Mar. The next time I'll order it with the bread toasted. One of the great things about my visit is that the craft beer on draft is only $3 during October. They have a nice selection of Arizona beers as well as beer from San Diego area breweries. I had heard great things about this place ever since attending ASU, but only now just tried it and I am honestly really sad it took me this long! First of all, the staff was really helpful and friendly, since we had some questions with it being our first time and they gave some great recommendations and were just really fun to talk to! We ordered the Baja wrap and roast beef spicy. The Baja wrap was very fresh and it didn't fall apart when eating it. The roast beef spicy was definitely spicy and the beef is tender and the baguette was chewy and not hard like other baguettes. Seriously a great sandwich shop. read more

It's so refreshing to see Board & Brew out here in Arizona! This used to be my go-to sandwich place back when I used to live in San Diego. It definitely still holds it's beach-bro roots. I've tried a few sandwiches here before, but the Baja Chicken is DEFINITELY my all time favorite. The grilled chicken breast with the grilled onions and melted cheese on top already got me drooling. And then they add jalapeños just to spice things up?! Even better. Then you gotta make sure you top it off with the special Board & Brew orange sauce (I actually don't know the name of it, only that it adds a completely different dimension of flavor to your sandwich). This place is so good it's almost worth the drive up from Tucson just to grab a few sandwiches (one to eat there, one for the trip back, and another for tomorrow's lunch).
