Called and spoke to "Jeff" this evening. Wanted to purchase a vehicle x5 50e advertised online. After asking for details and requesting an out the door price, he called me back and said they "would jot sell to anyone in Montana because those vehicles have ended up on boats..." the explanation made no sense... once I cooled off I called them back and expressed, as a military officer I believed their discrimination was inappropriate and likely illegal. During that conversation which was about 4-5 min after the prior, he said, "it does not matter anyway, the car has been sold..." the likelihood of the car selling in that timeframe is low and the likelihood this was a simple pretext for discrimination is high. Buyer beware... relationships are built on trust and clearly this dealership cannot be trusted based on my experience read more

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP! This has been the worst experience of purchasing a car! l've had my car going on 4 month and still have not received a license plate. I've two 45 day temporary tags and it expired again. In between the 1st and 2nd temporary I had to rent a car for 9 days, as of this morning o had to rent another because I have no tag still. After I traded in my it to over 40 days for them to pay the loan off!! Saying that, I had to make another payment on a car didn't own anymore. They will not return my emails, calls and texts!! Monday I have to hire an attorney to deal with these people!! Don't let this happen to you! read more

Hard to describe how truly horrible the service is here. I had an issue that they wouldn't fix without me getting the CEO group involved. My contact in that group told me they've never seen such lack of respect - not only for me but for her. When the CEO line says they're bad, they're bad. From intake to the service director (absolutely terrible), I'd rather walk than buy a car from them. Even the owner ignore me. Use Classic BMW. They restored my faith in the brand. I have been working 3 months to try and get the money the dealership owes me, a license plate, and signed copies of documents. The management (Marty Sharp, Tom Hawkins, Josh Deluco) at this dealership leaves a lot to be desired in terms of customer service when things go off track. Please own your issues and provide real resolutions and realistic timeframes to your customers. I would not recommend this dealership and would highly suggest you avoid it at all costs. read more

I can't pos a no star review, by default they get 1 star. I can't say anything good about my experience with this bmw dealership. I had repairs done to my 2001 bmw z3 about 1 month ago, they lost or broke a plastic door panel piece. I was charged $800 for work not performed, I was told my service coordinator who knew the the agreement for work to be performed is no longer available. I was charged again to diagnose the problem that we were waiting for a part. Then the charged me another 241+ to do??? So far I've spent $1100 for a sensor that may not have been faulty. Now I discover that the seat belt holder on the passenger side is missing They break things and don't own up to their mistakes Run from this dealership, I've had good experience at other bmw dealership over the past 20 yrs read more

Crappy service. No one should come here at all. Shut the service department down!!! Had the X3 in for an oil change and new windshield wipers. Two hour waiting period and they don't let you see what they are doing to your car. On the drive home from the Solon BMW service department, the check engine/service engine soon light came on. This light has never been on in my car until it was serviced for an oil change here. Why does an oil change take 2 hours anyways? They were probably messing or breaking things in my car engine just so I take it back to be fixed by them. We called and told the service department the check engine light magically came on for the first time after this oil change with them and they said to take the car in the next morning so they can scan the OBD codes. We did this and then they said they can not scan the OBD codes without admitting the vehicle to service first. I would not allow this to happen since that means they take your car back where you can't see what they are doing and I do not trust them now. They lied and said they don't have a mobile OBD scanner to scan it in front of us. Well news flash world: ALL OBD SCANNERS ARE MOBILE AND BATTERY OPERATED. Also there's a nifty thing that's been invented called an extension cord. Thanks for the worst experience at a BMW dealership ever. Will never go back here. I rather be stung by a bee anywhere from two to four times than endure this unethical and dishonest dealership. read more

Disappointing experience with BMW Cleveland regarding an internet sale. While the sales associate was initially on point with communication and follow up, he dropped the ball a'la Baker Mayfield. After agreeing upon price ( received it in writing ) and submitting my financing application, he let the vehicle get away as he was busy with another client and never processed my application or alerted colleagues he was working with a buyer. I have no issues with someone handling multiple customers, but if thats the case, hand me off to an associate so my deal can get done. While BMW is certainly the ultimate driving machine, BMW Cleveland is not the ultimate buying experience. read more

Dealership made a deal on a car in writing and I went through financing credit application which hit my credit rating and days later I was told they couldn't make the deal because they "fat fingered" the numbers. We went back and forth confirming numbers so I am not sure how this happened. They also have a down payment that I have been trying to recover for weeks with no resolve. Customer service is terrible. I only come here because it is closest to my job. If you do not look like you belong in a BMW dealership they will give you the worse service. Save your self the stress and go to a different BMW location for service and purchases. Brought my car in because of my rotors were making a grinding sound and was told it was due to "environmental" factors. Fast forward one month later they tell me I need to change my rotoRs and brakes (has my brakes done a month prior at this location) they completely ignored the fact that I brought up their mistake. I'm not shopping for a BMW. I visited with a friend who was curious. This was a very high end dealership with some very nice automobiles. The facility was very open and well lit. The staff was very attentive and answered all of our questions, even though they knew we weren't buying a car. They offered us water, test drives, vehicle material, you name It. I suppose if you are really in the market for a luxury vehicle, they will roll out the red carpet for you. If I could afford one, I'm sure the experience would be a good one. This dealership is connected to another high end car dealership next door. I guess this is one stop shopping for luxury cars. Overall, I would recommend a visit to this dealership if you are in the market for a luxury car. read more

Jim Laumer, our client advisor, was patient, friendly, and worked to get us the best deal possible. Managers Jeff and Pete treated me and my girlfriend like we were celebrities, making sure we were being helped, were well hydrated, and had no issues with our experience. I use to sell cars and I can tell you these guys do things the right way. Their honest business and great service does have its downsides - they have a lot of loyal customers and sell their good inventory quickly. I moved here from NY and found this place. I had called them ahead of time, even before I moved here from NY because I had some issues with my car and the dealership I purchased my car from did not know much about BMWs. I got someone on the phone who helped set up an appointment and also answered my questions and checked vehicle history on their server. It was very helpful but when I arrived here, it was even better. I met with Don, who is a very good customer care representative. He has helped me every time I needed anything done for the car, even with short notice. Over all it has been a wonderful experience working with these people. read more

I purchased a 2008 LR3 from this dealership. Within the first few days, I noticed that the transmission would slip out of gear randomly while driving. A real safety issue. I called the dealership and valet service was immediately dispatched....they didn't have the final check from my finance company at this time. Issue resolved quickly. I then immediately noticed shifting issues. Noticeable constantly. I tried contacting via phone and email for weeks before I had to threaten them legally for avoiding me. They picked up the vehicle. The morning of pick-up was during the "polar vortex". Temperatures were in the negatives. The vehicle was a bear to start due to this cold weather...taking a couple turnovers and a lot of warming up before I was satisfied with how it was behaving and ok with the valet service getting into it without trouble. This situation, of course, trigger engine misfire codes along with other items. I made sure when the vehicle was received by LR Solon that they were aware that these codes they would see had nothing to do with the problem. Regardless, they diagnosed it all and suggested over $5000 in repairs that had nothing to do with the transmission or shifting...this included a new throttle body, injectors cleaned and a catalytic converter. They insisted that this was the problem and refused to look at the rest of the vehicle until these items were fixed. I authorized the repairs minus the converter and was, days later, told that this did not fix the issue. They assumed only the expense for the throttle body. They have since (3 weeks later having my car) said the transmission needs replaced! They have offered $1000 off the price of a $5500 transmission that hasn;t been right since the day of purchase. What is wrong with people?! read more

Boy this place has gone seriously downhill the past few years. Last time I took my car in for service (Apr-2017), I got it back and one thing was broken. And I was "missing" a personal item as well. Yes I try not to leave anything valuable in the car when I drop off for service. And this item wasn't valuable. But it was mine, and somehow grew legs and walked. Service people giving me the runaround since April about replacing the item that mysteriously broke. And for a ridiculously minor part no less. Wasted more of my time than it's worth and will fix it myself at this point. So it's So-long to Solon BMW for me. Too bad too, they used to be much better. read more

Worst service department ever. I brought in my 7 series for oil change and was later told the vehicle wouldn't be released to me unless I replaced all brake pads and rotors because "Safety". Naturally, I dispatched the service writer, walked back to the service bay and extracted the car myself. Paid for the oil service and left with receipt. I have never had to physically, manually re=possess my own property. The dealer seemed desperate to write revenue. My car was the only one in for service while I was there. Not good. read more
