My F-Type had a check engine light, so I called Jaguar Solon and schedule an appointment. They problem was the O2 sensor, which they replaced. However' they damaged my docket panel when they put the car in the lift. I appreciate that they took responsibility for the damage, however, when I went to pick the car up two weeks later, the battery was completely dead. I had NO battery issues prior to taking it in. They replaced the battery and the negative terminal for $853. When I got the car home, I immediately started getting low battery warnings. Now, I've notified them that I want them to pick it up and "get it right" at their expense. I'll revise this review pending how they handle this extremely frustrating experience. read more

*Disclaimer* I did not purchase a Jaguar Land Rover product but a preowned car (Acura TSX) that they had in inventory. This review is a reflection of the overall experience from the first point of contact. I'm also not sure why Yelp has two separate pages for Jaguar and Land Rover as it's the same store so I'll be posting this on both their Yelp pages I live in Los Angeles and was looking for a very specific preowned car and found it at the Jaguar Land Rover store in Solon, Ohio. I put in a request and Weston Wilson reached out to me. He clearly understood that I was a car guy as I had him go through the car meticulously. He even took the time to FaceTime me so that I can "see" the vehicle. He was quick to respond to emails and text messages despite our time zone difference. Fast forward 2 weeks and I was on a plane to Ohio. Weston picked me up from the airport and took me to the dealer. The car was prepped and ready for me. Ryan in the finance office was very professional and had documents were ready for me to sign and I was done with the entire transaction in less than 20 minutes. TERRIBLE Service Department!! They damaged my air conditioning system and said it was broke bc we brought it somewhere else for repairs. We never brought it anywhere else for repairs! Went in (for another problem) with AC and came back with none. We were told it would be $1800 in addition to over $3500 dollars already being charged. Scott, the service manager, is most definitely in the wrong line of work, as he has know idea how to deal with people. Bottom line, this place is a BIG rip off! read more

I have been at the dealership for 4 hours today to get an oil change. they like to tell me that the miles was in kilometers and then it wasn't due for an oil change at 44,000 miles. finally got my oil changed. Also they did an update on my vehicle for the all wheel drive and now they're telling me that it needs all new brake pads, tires and rotors at my expense not under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. I believe the all-wheel-drive update is what caused my problem with my brakes. Since l've update, l've had continuously problems try to call the dealership got no answer on the phone called corporate got no results there made a complaint. I am very unhappy with the service here I feel like a peasant. I want Land rover to do right by me and have their companies answer the phone when service is due because you can only come in by appointment. My warranty is under a different vin # on a different car I don't even own! They did maintenance to my car and it is not in the computer under my vin #. In the computer they have me owning a red Land Rover. Don't own the color!! So many questions and no answer! I what answers! I need a lawyer. Please help!! read more

My vehicle was serviced at Land Rover Solon twice for a reoccurring check engine light and noise while idling. Land Rover said a sensor required replacement. I paid to replace a sensor. Three weeks later the timing chain broke and as a result the motor broke. Land Rover agreed to repair my vehicle with new parts. I came into the dealership to make down payment on repair. The same day Land Rover Solon says "used parts" are available for my repair. I decline the "used parts" because they don't have history available. Now Land Rover Solon will not honor the "new parts" repair. Do not trust this dealership with your service or business! Poor customer service. I purchased a 2008 LR3 from this dealership. Within the first few days, I noticed that the transmission would slip out of gear randomly while driving. A real safety issue. I called the dealership and valet service was immediately dispatched....they didn't have the final check from my finance company at this time. Issue resolved quickly. I then immediately noticed shifting issues. Noticeable constantly. I tried contacting via phone and email for weeks before I had to threaten them legally for avoiding me. They picked up the vehicle. The morning of pick-up was during the "polar vortex". Temperatures were in the negatives. The vehicle was a bear to start due to this cold weather...taking a couple turnovers and a lot of warming up before I was satisfied with how it was behaving and ok with the valet service getting into it without trouble. This situation, of course, trigger engine misfire codes along with other items. I made sure when the vehicle was received by LR Solon that they were aware that these codes they would see had nothing to do with the problem. Regardless, they diagnosed it all and suggested over $5000 in repairs that had nothing to do with the transmission or shifting...this included a new throttle body, injectors cleaned and a catalytic converter. They insisted that this was the problem and refused to look at the rest of the vehicle until these items were fixed. I authorized the repairs minus the converter and was, days later, told that this did not fix the issue. They assumed only the expense for the throttle body. They have since (3 weeks later having my car) said the transmission needs replaced! They have offered $1000 off the price of a $5500 transmission that hasn;t been right since the day of purchase. What is wrong with people?! read more

Brought my car for an urgent airbag safety recall matter solicited by Land Rover and the NHTSA described as a matter that "can cause serious injury or death". Scheduled appointment two weeks in advance and was assured orally and in writing that "if required (the business will) provide a loaner vehicle for free". I arrived on time to my appointment and was told that no loaners are available. I have scheduled several appointments for today basing on the fact that I will have a vehicle, I took time off from work and I invested time and money to drive to Solon for the safety recall appointment. I would like to receive a written apology from Mr Ralph Lombardi or whoever scheduled this appointment and wasted my time and money. And I would like to know how is this matter going to be remedied. Is there compensation for my aggravation? Is there a consequence for this unprofessional business practice? read more

Found a 2015 Range Rover Evoque Dynamic online at this dealership and it had everything I was looking for. Or so I thought. I arranged a deal with Ken ahead of time, since I live in Michigan and didn't want to travel the 300 miles for no reason. We quickly came to a number that worked for both of us and I setup a time to come pick up the car the following Saturday. The online picture posted on the website showed that it was silver with the black pack, (black features, black rims, etc.). When I arrived, there was a shiny silver 2015 Evoque parked outside, ready to go. However this one had standard chrome rims. Confused, I talked with Ken to see what was going on and he informed me that the picture was a stock photo. At this point I was mad at myself for not verifying this ahead of time, and also pretty ticked at the dealership for not explaining that the photo wasn't of the exact car I was looking to purchase. Come on guys, it's 2016 - take a photo of the actual car when you're trying to sell it. The stock photo in this picture was unlike any other stock photo for this car I had seen as it has a rather uncommon feature set/set of packages. I assumed it was the exact car. Today's lesson: Don't assume. I made my displeasure known to Ken as well as his manager and was prepared to walk out. At this point the dealership offered to replace the rims at no cost to me, as well as replace the back covers on both front seats due to excessive wear/scratches. They were even willing to work with my local dealer in Michigan so I didn't have to drive back to Cleveland and provide a loaner at no cost while the work was being done. Sounds fair to me! I bought the car. Within two weeks, the rims and seat backs were taken care of and they had themselves a happy customer. So while there were bumps in the road, I was more than happy that Ken and the folks at Land Rover Solon were willing to work with me to make things right and earn my business. Being 300 miles away, it's unlikely I'd be a repeat customer, but that didn't stop them from doing the right thing. That's what I appreciated the most. read more

I didn't buy my Range Rover here as I just moved into the Cleveland area but Chris and the entire service team made me feel welcome regardless. The issue was software related and required an update from Land Rover North America which was out of their control but in the month since I first took the vehicle in to the time the software patch was ready to be installed I was communicated with and updated continually so I was never left in doubt about where the situation stood. Once the patch became available the service manager called to get me scheduled and on the day I took the car in took the time to greet me, apologize for how long it took and even explained why there was such a delay. read more

Jaguar Cleveland is good at selling you a car but it ends there. Two times we have had to have each of our to Jags serviced there for different reasons. The first time it took them a month to figure out what was causing the problem and another to fix it. 10 different diagnoses later. The next car had to have two interior panels removed in order to work on the car. When it was done the fabric was not longer tight. Instead it was loose and looked horrible. In addition they left a large black grease smudge on the fabric at the very top. The car was not picked up by me so I did not see this until days later. So I immediately called Chris the service director to inform him of this problem and he said that it should have never been returned to us like that and to just bring it in and they would take care of it. When I got there that all changed. Now he had a bag full of excuses why it was not there fault. Bottom line is that the fabric liner was in perfect condition when it went it an not when we got it back and they refused to do anything about it unless we were willing to pay for it. I then called Westside Jaguar and told them the same story. I ended up taking it to them and they repaired it for FREE. Guess I know where my next Jag will be purchased. "SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" If your wrong...own up to it !!! read more

Not only did they replace my water pump (under warranty), but noticed another issue that could have been a problem and fixed that as well. Also under warranty!
