It's a Pull Apart. . . You go to their lot, find a similar vehicle to what you're looking for and harvest the part of its there. Fortunately for me, they had about eight vans that were comparable to the van I was working on. The process was easy. I had checked online so I knew they had four vans on site that were matches. Knowing what you are looking for is a big help. The rows are pretty well indicated on the outside of the sections. Each vehicle has its own label to identify model & year. The counter staff was helpful. The check out was great. I paid about forty times less for my part than to get an OEM replacement. The vehicles are spaced well enough apart to easily work on them. You need to bring your own tools, but I feel that's common sense. If you're coming to find a part to harvest, you best bring your gear, otherwise got to an auto parts store. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for a first timer. Thank you all for your help, and for the off duty police office who was there to keep us safe. read more

Absolutely not, gone give me a split and bala tire. I could've died. 0/10. Wouldn't recommend coming by yourself, bring someone who knows about cars because this is the type of place that likes to take advantage and sell faulty items that should not be sold at all, low price or not. Update - I did just receive a personal phone call with an apology, so I've updated my rating one star. Called several times Monday morning after 8 am and got the voicemail saying they were closed. Finally reached a person that morning who said the system was down and they'd call me back with a quote for my car once system came back up. Never got the call. Monday afternoon decided to email. Tuesday afternoon still had not heard back and was in a spot where I had to get the car off the property is was on, so I scrapped it for $85. Pull-a-Part just now emails me and offers $325. Cleveland-west location. Website was very helpful thou pics of rear of cars would help. Location of vehicles and ease of locating them ,easy to navigate and find cars as marked on website. Customer service was an F+ at the most . Atleast 6 or more people sitting around literally doing nothing but talking to other employees about non work related stuff and when asking a question they will look at you with disgust . This wasnt just me and it wasnt just one employee. The wheel barrels provided were horrible and had to wedge parts underneath it to just so it would not fall over and staff laughed about it when asking were the wheel barrels are that have had maintenance. A-frames all had flate tires and wheels so beat could barely be turned . All if one employee took half a day of talking could easily fix all the barrels and a-frame's with ease using used car parts and some TLC. But yet after all that I able to complete my purchases because of one employee in a hard helmet that acted as if he had work ethic and pride . His help was very much appreciated. read more

I had an 2001 Oldsmobile towed out of my driveway this morning at 10am. The driver called half an hour before showing up. Once he got to my house he called again just to say he had arrived. The transaction was quick and painless. I handed over the title to the car and he handed over the exact amount of money that was offered for the car a few days ago. I LOVE THE JUNKYARD. There, I said it. It feels good. Seriously, though. I loved this place. I loved getting my hand stamped like I was going to a concert or fair. I loved walking through the gravel and rows of cars and feeling that terrifying sinking feeling in my stomach because I knew I'd get lost. I didn't love thinking about how those poor cars died or how their owners felt when it happened, but I tried to keep that out of my head as much as possible. I loved looking up the cars in the computer and getting the slip of paper with all of the information on it, then using it as a map all over the yard. It was entirely not what I expected and such an adventure! We came for a wide variety of pieces and parts for 2 different cars. The man's VW and my Honda both need some work; the difference between the two is that the VW is a for-fun-beater that he's trying to fix up and play around with, my Honda is my every day car that I'm forcing not to become a beater. I've given the little guy a name and love him like a family member, so the junkyard may be my most frequented spot soon. We searched and searched for some mirrors that would fit and thought we found some, but they didn't end up working out. But, in the long run, it was definitely worth the $20 chance instead of looking elsewhere and paying way too much! read more

I contacted this facility one week prior in attempts to sell my car. They stated that they would pick up the car from 8AM - 5PM on the day I had listed. I waited for 9 hours and they still had not arrived. I contacted the dispatchers at 3:30PM and 4PM, and did not hear from the owner until 4:40PM, who (extremely rudely) stated that he would be there promptly before 5PM. This is now 9 hours of waiting. I waited until 5PM, and he still had not arrived. He called me at 5PM yelling that he was still not there and demanding for directions. I hung up the phone because that was not what I needed to hear after being so blatantly disrespected for so long. I will not be using this company for any transactions and would highly recommend that others not either. I only have one day off work per week and it is very disappointing to spend then entire day (9 hours!!) waiting for a transaction that ultimately fails. This company has demonstrated that they do not respect their customers and do not uphold their promises. read more

I am a regular customer at pull a part and never really have much to complain about until today they charged me 3 times the price because there system was down and could not look up the price when i already searched the price last week and they still insisted on charging 3 times the price and told me to call corporate if i have a problem with it. Used cars- Yep, they got 'em. Do they need work? You bet. Is the sales guy David White open and honest about it? ABSOLUTELY. David is the guy. I got my daughter a car there, and David was golden to work with. I'll be back for another and I hope that David White will still be there to help. Used auto parts - that's what its about. Cool place to go and snag the right part, the first time. Everybody is helpful, the girls at the checkout are very cool and easygoing. Legit the worst experience today with this company. First we were told that they would be here between 8am-11am. They never showed. We had to call and ask what was going on and they told us that they would be there before 5....5pm! Wow, that's inconvenient....but my parents still wanted an old car out of the backyard...so we waited. We were then told we would get a call 30-45 minutes before hand. Nope, no call until they were at the house. I wasn't there so I had to drop everything and get there to meet them or they were going to leave. Their cars are listed on their website by make, model and year so I could see if they had what I needed before I went to their location. They are open on weekends.
