I explained my situation and he said we could work something out. I picked out a minivan and took it for a spin. when I got back he then showed me a different minivan. It was a little more money than the one I drove but DJ explained that the other one was better on gas and had safety features the other didn't. he stated that with my having 6 Children he would feel better knowing I had the safer vehicle. I drove off the lot that day after giving him $250 and then working out an agreement to bring another $250 the following week. I made payments every other week. One night I was driving home and my Tie Rod Broke. I called for a tow truck and then called DB Motors to leave a message and let them know the car would be towed to the lot and what had happened. I figured I would hear from DJ in the morning. My phone rang two minutes later and it was DJ the owner. He told me to cancel the Tow and he came and got us. he towed the Minivan back to the lot and made sure my Family and I had a vehicle to get home. The next day he fixed the vehicle and only charged me for parts. I was shocked " his reply to me when I stated that was " Look I have Kids and I would not want my kids on the side of the road waiting for a ride late at night." Ever since that first encounter with DB Motors I have purchased several cars. I have referred friends and family and everyone has been satisfied. I have always told Friends that when it comes to buying used cars on Vine St the only place I will deal with is DB Motors.

This was one of the most frustrating car buying experiences I've had…read more I was actively working a deal on a Chevy Equinox EV from out of state and made it very clear I was serious -- we discussed out-the-door pricing, confirmed details like the charger and paperwork, and I was literally preparing to drive 7 hours early the next morning with my dad to complete the purchase. At no point was I told there was another buyer actively purchasing the vehicle. Instead, I was led to believe the car was available and that we were moving forward. Then, right after confirming final details, I was suddenly told the vehicle was "in the process of selling." I completely understand first-come, first-served -- that's not the issue. The issue is the lack of transparency. If another buyer was ahead of me, that should have been clearly communicated so I could have made an informed decision (like putting down a deposit immediately). This isn't the first time I've had this happen during my search, but this was by far the most poorly handled. If you're an out-of-state buyer, be very cautious. Don't make plans or assume anything is yours unless you have it locked down in writing. Very disappointing experience.

I could see his small tattoos on his hand and even though the shirt sleeve went down to the wrist, could tell he was hiding quite a few more. That tells me that this company is willing to hire people based on more than just looks, and I personally love it when ability supersedes appearances. Unfortunately, my recent experience was horrible and left me feeling scammed. I was initially quoted $1,100 for new fuel pumps after having an issue pumping gas. I approved the repair, but after waiting two weeks, I received the car back with the same issue. I was not given a follow-up appointment or a plan to resolve it. When I brought the car back myself, I was told the original service was incomplete and the vehicle should not have been returned to me. I was then quoted for another part. After explaining the situation to the service manager, Dave, he agreed to waive the labor and discount the part because of the inconvenience. However, I later discovered that the dealership was charging over $60 more for the exact same part than other nearby BMW locations in Solon and Westlake. When I tried to speak with Dave again, I was told he was at lunch. I said I would wait, but instead of speaking with me, he sent a message through my service representative saying he would not make any further adjustments. I ultimately had to speak with the general manager, Mike, who adjusted the price to match the neighboring BMW locations. Notably, Mike had the decency of addressing me as a customer instead of sending a representative during his lunch break like service manager, Dave. Even after that, the 10% discount I had been promised was not honored, and I was charged the full price for the replacement part. To make matters worse, my front plate was removed while the vehicle was being apparently being washed, and a discontinued BMW emblem from the plate was missing when I received the car back. I was told they could provide a replacement, but it would not be the same emblem. I would assume someone stole it given that no one could provide me a conclusive answer as to what happened (pictures attached). After years of being a customer, this experience left me feeling extremely disappointed and taken advantage of. I will not be returning to this location for service or sales and would recommend anyone else looking elsewhere. The service department is not worth the hassle.

The salesmen and staff are the embodiment of your stereotypical sales personnel. Behind their cheap…read moresuits and ties, they lie and deceive for a living. On 5/9/2025, I purchased a 2023 Mercedes AMG SL 43 from these con men at Mercedes Benz of North Olmstead. (MBNO). This car had 107 miles on it and was sold to me as the first private owner. On 7/18/2025 I returned the car to the service department with 1761 miles because I was experiencing a rubbing noise when turning the steering wheel and because of a popping and creaking sound when driving, turning and backing up. On 7/21/2025, I returned to this dealer to pick up my car. Service department records found loose strut bolts. Loose strut bolts are extremely dangerous and impact a vehicle's handling, breaking, and overall safety. It can also cause premature wear on other steering and suspension parts. I had a face to face meeting with service advisor Yahya and sales representative Doug regarding these concerns. I asked them to purchase the car back and make me whole. They refused and told me to take the matter up with Mercedes Benz USA. When I asked them to provide me with a loaner vehicle until the matter is resolved, they refused. I was forced to drive the car home and park it in my garage until Mercedes Benz USA determines what it wants to do. This process could take 3 - 6 weeks. Mercedes Benz of North Olmstead sold me a car that should never have left the assembly plant. They endangered my safety and the safety of others. 8/12/2025. Mercedes Benz USA called to inform me that "THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING". 9/2/2025. I called to schedule an appointment because the steering column was making noise. When I purchased the car, Mercedes Benz of North Olmstead told me that if I ever needed to bring my car in for service, they would provide me with a loaner vehicle. What they failed to disclose is that loaner vehicles are not available for 2 weeks. Therefore my appointment is for 9/15/2025. 9/17/2025. MBNO informed me that they could not duplicate the problem. 9/18/2025. Same problem. I had to wait until 9/30/2025 to take the car back and have a loaner. 10/3/2025, MBNO calls me and said that they could not duplicate the problem. Service adviser Josh, told me to record the noise on my phone. 10/6/2025 I returned with the audio and video of the steering column making noise. I suggested to Josh and another useless Service Advisor named Stacy that we listen to the audio in a quiet place and not in the noisy service area. Neither Stacy or Josh would honor my request. I'm scheduled to return the car on 10/16/2025. They want to keep it for a week. I did exactly as Josh suggested and he dismissed my concerns 10/17/2025. Service Department records state that they "found a document" instructing them to remove the steering rack and pack it with grease. I've had to return the car for They also told me that the manufacturers warranty begins on the day it rolls of the assembly line. Since I purchased the car new, I should have a 4 year, 50,000 mi warranty. They lied to me and only gave me 2.5 years. I was pressured into buying a very expensive warranty on a NEW CAR. Today they want me to pay for services that should have been completed 8 months before I purchased the car. And I don't have a choice. They will void the warranty if I do not. I know this sounds unbelievable but it's true. The people that work here are absolutely despicable. BTW. In a good faith effort, I paid cash for this piece of junk. If you are thinking of purchasing a car at Mercedes Benz of North Olmstead, consider this review.
