I bought two vehicles from this location. And have services both vehicles. But I am not sure the service department does what they say. I can't prove that my oil change was even done. I can prove that the service tech doesn't check air pressures. And if he did check. I can prove he didn't adjust the air pressures. This could be one of two things. Lack of training Lack of caring. I'm not sure if the tech was trained. And I can't provide the tech even cares. Very disappointing.

The buying experience for me was good. Sales rep was personable and the loan application process was efficient. The finance guy wasn't super-aggressive trying to get you to buy things you don't want like tire plans, warranty etc...It' a business and they are going to ask. But a lot of dealers can be super annoying with this and keep pressing you to purchase something extra after you decline the offer. Those are the things that I find detract from the buying experience and process so I found the experience more pleasant than normal. No complaints.

It was a Friday night and they were closing for the weekend, we would have had to cancel our vacation. We decided to trade so we could get on our way but the only car available on the whole lot was a Corolla Cross. Recently we received an invitation to a sales event that was going to blow us away at Victory Toyota, we even had to make an appointment for this event. We walked into Toyota and saw very limited inventory. We looked at two cars and I counted five salesmen standing around in various parts of the showroom. Not one person asked to help. I finally walked up to a young gentleman and asked if there were any Highlanders. He said there were THREE outside ( huge sales event?) and proceeded to walk us out with no keys. Should we just look through the window? Upon going back to get the keys I wanted to test drive the Platnimum. I joked to him that I had planned to retire next year but if we buy a car that is going to change. I told him that I pick out the car and my husband does the numbers deal. He mentioned that when we got back to the showroom he'd see if retirement was still possible after crunching numbers. They did a quick appraisal of our Cross and then crunched NO NUMBERS...the price you see is the price you pay, minus the trade. We bought our last Toyota at zero down , zero finance. This dealership wanted 4.9 %. That is around $10,000 in intrest for the Highlander. . Land Rover is advertising 0.9% for select models. . We will definitely be looking around. . Ten years ago when my husband was looking for a vehicle for work he stopped at a competitor's lot just to see what they had to offer. The salesman was out the door and ready to greet my husband before he even got out of the car.

I'm sure the codes were cleared momentarily to manipulate the sale. At the time of the sale, I purchased the extended warranty and Next Step was pushy about their shop doing the repairs. The car was with them for months often on because the repairs were so poorly done. The Audi dealership said upon the initial inspection after I purchased the vehicle, reported the repairs would exceed the value of the car, keep in mind this was shortly after the purchase because the check engine lights were on. The car was inspected by 2 independent mechanics after Next Steps "New Engine" installment and the overwhelming report is that the NEXT STEP should never touch a vehicle again. Bolts were missing parts were put in the wrong place, hoses weren't connected properly. The list goes on and on it was about a 10 page detailed report from each in evaluator. The independent mechanics were disgusted that NEXT STEP would take advantage of a customer because Audi prides itself on brand loyalty rather than making a quick slimy sale. Don't walk away from this place, RUN. It's more like NEXT "MISTAKE" rather than NEXT STEP.

Once in Maryland I had to change the tires as they were bald and Matt refused to replace them before purchase. Then I had the car inspected at the local Mercedes' dealer and it had a major oil leak that had to be repaired in addition to all the maintenance required at 60k miles. Next step Auto Sales does not service their vehicles before selling them. Their goal is to stick you with maintenance costs and not take any liability for the condition of their cars before selling them. The Mercedes' dealer quoted 4K worth of maintenance required after inspection. I purchased the car for 27k. Steve the dealer owner denied the oil leak even though Mercedes' listed this issue on their inspection report. Steve also refused to honor the dealer warranty that came with the vehicle purchase which includes the engine and was quoted for 90 days / 3000 miles. I would not recommend buying a car from this shade tree dealer. Customer satisfaction is not on their radar at all! They just want to get your money and leave you stuck with a poorly maintained vehicle. Very sad. Below are pictures of the air filter and cabin air filter of the Mercedes' that they claimed to have serviced before the sale. Laughable to say the least. These guys should change their dealer name to "3 steps back auto sales"! If it was not for them having the particular car I wanted with the options I was looking for I would not even have bought a car from a non factory sponsored dealer like this one. Not hard to see the difference in customer service and the vehicle condition when using a low budget shady dealer such as this one. Stay away!

However, a number of other items have continued to fail within the first 200 miles or were not working upon delivery. 1) Motorized seat functions in both front seats 2) damaged & leaking radiator hose 3) leaking wiper fluid hose in roof 4) failed sunroof motor 5) missing second key. These items total an additional $8,000 worth of issues. Even with the "settlement" considered, I would stay away from Tradewinds.**** If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Tradewinds Motor Center and expect it to be inspected and free of major defects, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Tradewinds sold me a vehicle that had its emissions equipment removed and, consequently, could not pass emissions testing. This major defect was not disclosed to me prior to purchase or in the purchase paperwork. Upon delivery (I was an out-of-state buyer), the check engine light was illuminated, and the vehicle leaked coolant all over my garage and driveway. Immediately, I scanned the vehicle using an OBDII scanner, and emissions-related codes appeared. I spoke with Tim Campbell, the General Manager, over the course of three weeks. He finally committed to paying for me to take the vehicle to an OEM-licensed dealership for diagnostics. The OEM-licensed dealership produced a report indicating that the catalytic converters were missing and a coolant hose needed to be replaced. After I spoke with Tim and offered to send him the report, he informed me that the owner of Tradewinds, Brian Farajipour, had rescinded the offer to pay for diagnostics and was also unwilling to cover any of the repairs required to pass emissions testing in my state. I am now forced to pay $6,200 for repairs in order to operate my vehicle legally. Used car dealerships are plentiful; there are absolutely far better options to consider than Tradewinds Motor Center.

Immediately when looking at the damage emad himself stated he was going to try to mitigate the damage to receive a higher payout to fix damages that had nothing to do with my accident, that seemed very fishy and I tried to take my vehicle else where but was talked down due toemad seeming to be a good guy so I trusted him, the biggest mistake I have made! After receiving a rental from my insurance company I then left my vehicle at the shop with emad and his son for the work to be done properly. I gave it about three days and the shop was not done with the work and I had recently learned that my grandmother had a medical emergency which required me leaving the state. After learning about the medical emergency I had talked to emad to discuss my available options. I was told multiple times not to worry, I definitely should had worried! We made an agreement that I will come and pick up my vehicle once I got back to town since the repairs were not even done yet. After waiting for the repairs to be done done 2 weeks later I learned that emad put an additional 2 tires on my car WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BODY WORK! He then let me know if I didn't pay that additional 250 dollars I could not get the car back. I was not financially stable and he was very aware of that fact especially with having to deal with the issues i was dealing with. The medical emergency I had to deal with kept me from being able to go directly back to the shop and talk face to face with emad. Some days go by and emad called me stating he was going to need me to forfeit the vehicle. He stated he never reviewed payment from me or my insurance company and was helping me with a favor since I could not pick up the vehicle at the time. When he let me know this information he stated he was going to figure out the best way to repossess the car as quickly as possible and sell it at an auction to make up for the "unpaid funds". I am a man of morals so I understood why emad was upset due to "non payment". As much as I had going on I didnt reach out to my insurance company untilAfter everything was said and done because I felt there wasn't anything i could do. I then reached out to my insurance company and they stated there is a check on file for 3000 dollars paid to global automotive. They did get paid the only money they didn't get paid was the additional 250 dollars for tires that had nothing to do with body work even though I let them know I would still end up paying thaf amount just to receive my vehicle back. They are liars and thieves and will try to play you the second they feel they have a chance. They knew I was young and took every chance they got at fucking me over. Since then I have been left with the vehicle title still in my name and thousands of dollars worth of debt. I know Im not the only one they have done this to so be careful!! I would not recommend doing any business with them and I will be suing them aswell so Im hoping you are reading this emad. I plan on taking every dollar that was took from me and more! Theres so much more I can add to this. This little bit of information is just a quarter of what they have done. I can go in to so much detail and write a essay about this but I don't trust this company and I never will , I can guarantee they have done this to others so please do not fall victim to this shop like I did. Thank you!
