    Enjoying a Michelada!

Forever has been my favorite and always go to seafood place. I went to the 1960 location until 2920 opened and only go to this one. Owner Brad passed while back but his wife has been great about not changing anything! Which is perfect. All my recommendations that don't ever disappoint. -grilled salmon with the green beans -crawfish- spicy garlic -Captain catch - spicy garlic - crab legs - dungeoness too- spicy garlic - grilled oysters - Rockefeller - green beans - fried pickles - fried zucchini - fried green tomatoes - pistolette - Brownie sundae - Banana pudding Staff is always nice and never had any issues. The whole restaurant is deep sea fishing vibes. They have outdoor seating with patio cover, attentive staff and heaters if needed.

Food was fresh and hot. Service was ok. Besides the fact that the bar drinks took 30 plus to come out. Don't go on a Friday night. Took bout one hour to get our. To the point my party wasn't hungry anymore. So we got to go boxes.

Bluewater Seafood is a great spot for a casual family dinner--the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend the oyster sampler; the garlic butter oysters were my favorite. Honestly, I'd suggest getting all of them prepared that way--they're amazing! The mushroom oyster was well-seasoned, and the pico de gallo oyster had a nice, fresh flavor. I also really enjoyed the crawfish queso--it's rich and cheesy, just the way I like it--and the tortilla chips were warm and fresh. I only tried the appetizers this time, so I can't speak to the entrées, but overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

My first crawfish of the season. Delicious

Pretty early in the crawfish season but I couldn't wait anymore. I called to confirm They had crawfish, yes, they do 9.99 a pound, two pound minimum. yeah, a little on the high side considering we already know they are going to be very small . I came anyway. Gillian was my server and from the minute I sat down until now, GILLIAN WAS ON THE BALL, everything has been spectacular. I orderED 2 pounds of the spicy garlic extra spicy. I ordered butter and mayo and Lemons Anda beer, the beers are not relevant. Gillian set me up like a star and within minutes. I had my 2 pounds of crAWfish. the crawfish season has officially started for me. During this season. I put gloves, my own seasoning and toothpicks in my car. You never know when you're going to get the urge for some crawfish. Blue fush did notdisappoint. They were for sure garlicky enough, and I did add some of my own spice to kick it up. But they were on point with everything else. They were delicious. And I am thrilled that I was able to find a place I have confidence in returning to. Hopefully GILLIAN will be here then too

Seafood Boil including snow crab and shrimp. We got the garlic spice option.

We came in to have some seafood while out running errands in the area. We ordered the special of the day and it was amazing! The service was great and quick. The restaurant was busy but you could still hear each other when speaking. The margarita flight was delicious and will be back when that seafood craving strikes again!

Bluewater Seafood is definitely one of our residents' at The Landing at Augusta Woods' favorite restaurants! They love the fried green tomatoes, catfish, and drinks! Every visit, they are treated like royalty, with team members being extremely patient and kind with our group. Also - it's a fun environment for us! Thank you Bluewater!

Best crawfish we have had all season, they were huge and perfectly cooked, easy to peel. The price was great as well, they had a special buy 4lbs get one free.

Crawfish was very flavorful we chose the spicy garlic flavor. The spice level was more like mild more garlicky. Our waitress was amazing she was constantly checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. We went there for dinner on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. The drinks were well made.

I go there at least once a week for their food. I really enjoy their loaded, seafood gumbo. They also have very good bartenders and servers.

I had never been to the previous address, but the interior design was so lovely we chose to sit at the new bar. Kady, the bartender (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was such a doll the whole time waiting us. She kept the chips (touch of louisiana we enjoyed) next to her for refills and made the most twisted hurricane I've had. Definitely walked out clinging to my man lol. We tried the crawfish dip which came with two types of bread, though both went amazing with it. I ordered the lobster ravioli with a side of hush puppies and my old guy ordered the lamb chops, well done, with gumbo (we don't eat pork) and stuffed shrimp. Everything was so damn great tasting. I mean, damned good tasting. My only flaw was the roux could've been a little thinner, but that is absolutely it. Fabulous timeeee and I'm so recommending.

So they've moved. From Market Street to the space Next to one of my favorite cafes (PB)…read more Parking lot not full on an Easter Weekend. Despite a pretty empty restaurant we were told that only the bar and outside were available. And unlike many other places, they said this bar only allows 21 and older to dine in the bar area, which means only the outside for us. This being a cold (because of the wind) and cloudy morning. Sigh. Asked for a kids menu and was told it's only for 12 and under. Got the evil eye from the hostess when I said my kid qualifies. Then I offered to show them her ID and they backed off with smiles even. The complementary potato chips kind of tasted like Chips Oman. At least they weren't stale and it's a nice addition while you wait. The kiddo got the kids catfish which was just a pretty small piece of fish. Fries were good. Side fruit consisted of strawberries pineapple and red grapes. No drink included. Had to chase down the staff to get some tartar sauce. I wanted a Po Boy but was told they don't offer it on the weekends. Asked about beignets and was told it's only for dessert. Sigh. Decided to get the pork ribeye fricassee. The flavor was good but boy was it salty. Almost like they dropped a whole shaker of salt on it. Good thing there was some rice to counter the effect. Otherwise it would be inedible. So after our meal we had access to the desert menu and got a half order of beignets (4 pieces). They were ok. The dough on these is pretty thick though. Not sure if that's standard but I'd prefer light and fluffy. Soft opening was just the day before. So I think they're trying to find their stride. Water girl was on it though so kudos to her. Waiter was meh. Had to go in and fetch him a few times as they don't come outside much, especially when you're the only one out there. The bar area is small but the bartenders are nice. They have a sectioned off room in the back which might be good for a larger group. Place is kinda small overall though.

The one person inside the truck who took my order and served me my food was really nice. She informed me of what items she currently had, made suggestions based on what I felt like eating, and smiled the entire time she serviced me. This isn't someone claiming Louisiana roots from 5 generations ago when their kin folk lived on the Louisiana side of the Texas-Louisiana border. She's from the East Bank of New Orleans, and you can hear it in her speech. Let's get to the nitty gritty... the food. Overall, I tasted enough spice and quality to warrant going back to explore more menu items. I was definitely pleased to know that she served fried ribs, considering I've never had those before. Out of all the fried items I had, which ranged from fries to oysters, nothing was fried hard, and nothing was burnt. I will give this place more of my money. Side note: The pecan candy lady that makes the pralines for this establishment is okay as well. She makes a firm textured pecan candy. Some people may not like that, but I'm a fan. It is not overly sweet. For the price point, I would expect a thicker piece, but that may be because I'm spoiled by the pecan candy maker in Dallas (check my reviews of some time ago). All in all, come here and find something to chew on. I think you'll be as pleased as I am.
