Captain's Catch minus the crawfish because they were out and didn't tell us
    Samara B.

I wanted to like this place. I really did. The service was fine, helpful. However when we ordered the captain's feast, we were not told that they were out of crawfish and that extra shrimp would be substituted. I would have been fine but give a girl heads up. I could have ordered extra of my favorite crab legs. The boil itself was just mid. But I digress. The cocktails were solid if you like fruity tropical drinks. The booths suck. They are very short with a very straight back. Uncomfortable is an understatement. I suggest sitting at a table. Also, there was a trim piece at head level at my table that protrudes and I hit my head a couple times on it. What really put me off was the brush off from the manager. He basically told me to kick rocks when I mentioned it was dangerous and I could see a kid hitting their head and being a lawsuit. I don't appreciate the brush off nor the attitude when I mentioned that I hit my head which is why I knew it was a problem. Would I come here again? Probably not.

We sat on the patio tonight and the weather was great. The patio ambiance was relaxing there were many TVs on the patio. Heaters and fans. Inside is nice amd decorated as well. Service is good. And the food is good. We've eaten here many times and we enjoy it. We have tried many items on the menu and have liked most.

Forever has been my favorite and always go to seafood place. I went to the 1960 location until 2920 opened and only go to this one. Owner Brad passed while back but his wife has been great about not changing anything! Which is perfect. All my recommendations that don't ever disappoint. -grilled salmon with the green beans -crawfish- spicy garlic -Captain catch - spicy garlic - crab legs - dungeoness too- spicy garlic - grilled oysters - Rockefeller - green beans - fried pickles - fried zucchini - fried green tomatoes - pistolette - Brownie sundae - Banana pudding Staff is always nice and never had any issues. The whole restaurant is deep sea fishing vibes. They have outdoor seating with patio cover, attentive staff and heaters if needed.

We came to Bluewater Seafood because Babe was craving seafood, and let me tell you... this experience started off a little shaky but managed to pull itself together. We were seated at immediately, but after sitting for a few minutes with no greeting, I realized something wasn't right. I had to walk back to the hostess stand to let them know we hadn't been assigned a server. Turns out, we were seated in a section that didn't even have a server until 5:00 PM. That's not a small oversight--that's a breakdown in communication at the front. Now, to their credit, once our server stepped in, things started to turn around. Drinks came out quickly. I ordered my usual Long Island, and I loved that it was served in a branded mason jar--cute touch, definitely added to the vibe. (Still wondering if I was supposed to keep it or not ) We started with appetizers: The crawfish pistolet was the standout. Flavorful, rich, and honestly the best thing we had. My only complaint is they needed a little more bread to balance all that filling. The fried green tomatoes were cooked well and the portion was generous (almost two whole tomatoes), but they were under-seasoned. I had to add salt and rely on the sauce to bring them to life. Now let's talk about the menu--it's huge. We're talking seafood, burgers, fried chicken, boils, ceviche... everything but the kitchen sink. And while options are nice, it does make you question how fresh everything really is when a restaurant is trying to do that much. Overall, this place felt like it was trying to recover from a rough start--and partially succeeded. There are definitely some highlights (that pistolet!), but also some inconsistency that keeps it from being a full win. Final verdict: 3.5-4 stars. Come for the seafood favorites, but they've got some tightening up to do on service flow and seasoning.

Bluewater Seafood is a great spot for a casual family dinner--the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend the oyster sampler; the garlic butter oysters were my favorite. Honestly, I'd suggest getting all of them prepared that way--they're amazing! The mushroom oyster was well-seasoned, and the pico de gallo oyster had a nice, fresh flavor. I also really enjoyed the crawfish queso--it's rich and cheesy, just the way I like it--and the tortilla chips were warm and fresh. I only tried the appetizers this time, so I can't speak to the entrées, but overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Crawfish was very flavorful we chose the spicy garlic flavor. The spice level was more like mild more garlicky. Our waitress was amazing she was constantly checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. We went there for dinner on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. The drinks were well made.

Food was fresh and hot. Service was ok. Besides the fact that the bar drinks took 30 plus to come out. Don't go on a Friday night. Took bout one hour to get our. To the point my party wasn't hungry anymore. So we got to go boxes.

My first crawfish of the season. Delicious
    Denise L.

Pretty early in the crawfish season but I couldn't wait anymore. I called to confirm They had crawfish, yes, they do 9.99 a pound, two pound minimum. yeah, a little on the high side considering we already know they are going to be very small . I came anyway. Gillian was my server and from the minute I sat down until now, GILLIAN WAS ON THE BALL, everything has been spectacular. I orderED 2 pounds of the spicy garlic extra spicy. I ordered butter and mayo and Lemons Anda beer, the beers are not relevant. Gillian set me up like a star and within minutes. I had my 2 pounds of crAWfish. the crawfish season has officially started for me. During this season. I put gloves, my own seasoning and toothpicks in my car. You never know when you're going to get the urge for some crawfish. Blue fush did notdisappoint. They were for sure garlicky enough, and I did add some of my own spice to kick it up. But they were on point with everything else. They were delicious. And I am thrilled that I was able to find a place I have confidence in returning to. Hopefully GILLIAN will be here then too

Seafood Boil including snow crab and shrimp. We got the garlic spice option.

We came in to have some seafood while out running errands in the area. We ordered the special of the day and it was amazing! The service was great and quick. The restaurant was busy but you could still hear each other when speaking. The margarita flight was delicious and will be back when that seafood craving strikes again!

Why have I not been here before? Good food. Good service. Good vibes…read more The place wasn't packed but there was always a content flow of people. Even though there were people, service wasn't slowed down and food came out fast. Their menu is long- sorta over stimulating- but ask the waitress what to get. She did not point me in the wrong direction. I had their shrimp ceviche which was spicy. The fish taco was really good. It was hot and not just regular hot but pipping hot! Served on corn tortilla. On the table they had all these different sauces. I love me a sauce selection. The place is affordable and great! I would definitely go back!

The space itself is clean and inviting with a casual, relaxed vibe. They lean into the seafood theme with some lemon trees and a mermaid sculpture, and it feels bright and welcoming without trying too hard. Parking was straightforward in the shared lot out front for the strip center--no issues finding a spot. The waitstaff was friendly. We started with the ceviche, which was solid--fresh and flavorful, easily the best part of the meal. The tacos, though, were just okay. Tortillas were fine, but the seasoning on the fillings felt off. All the salsas were pretty subpar and didn't add much. We ordered the al pastor fish taco, which was probably the best of the bunch (still nothing special). The regular pork al pastor tacos were cut into cubes instead of the traditional shaved style, and that made the meat overcooked and tough to chew. Overall it was an average experience. Probably won't be back.
