Best seafood in town!! The crab & crawfish are amazing! We always ask for Josh A when we are here. Great service & Great food

Food was absolutely amazing, service was great. Overall one of the best seafood restaurants i've been to hands down! Thank you to Trey P for the amazing service! read more

I want to say first off everything was fantastic the service, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere the only reason for the 4 star review was the fact that they allow smoking in the outdoor seating area. We started off with a half dozen oysters and the crawfish queso both were delicious the oyster were really fresh. We ordered the mango tango which was sweet and super tasty and the perfect margarita which was just that the perfect classic margarita. For our entrées we got the shrimp basket, shrimp cuatro, and captain's catch everything was so good and flavorful. We will definitely be back! read more

I have to say I was disappointed. Some church members told me this place was good for crawfish and I have to disagree... it was a waste of money. The staff was nice and friendly. I just can't recommend the crawfish. read more

We are always eating crawfish at our one preferred spot we have been going for years but today we decided to try something new! And thankfully we chose to come to BlueWater! It was over 25min drive for us but totally worth it. Service was great, we sat in the patio the weather was beautiful. They are following Covid19 guidelines so tables are limited in the patio. A little bit of rain hit unexpectedly and the servers rapidly brought down the covers to avoid rain hitting us. We ordered the BlueWater Boil, and it was DELICIOUS!! I was in heaven! For appetizer, The stuffed avocado is a must!! If you're in the area or if you don't mind the drive I totally recommend coming here! I'm definitely going to come back. read more

Used to be better in the past. Last few visits, not so much. Nothing novel or new. Lackluster service and food okay. Too many new seafood restaurants in Spring and Tomball with great ambiance and more friendly waitstaff. read more

It was my first time visiting this restaurant I've heard very good reviews about it so I came in tonight and tried it out the clam chowder that I ordered was a little cold the appetizers that we ordered was boudin balls stuffed jalapenos and the pickles we're not that fresh the Crawfish that I ordered was definitely not worth 8.99 a pound almost every single tail that I peeled was mushy and fell apart in pieces trying to pull the tail out . a lot of them didn't even have a tail on the body. it tasted very soggy. And they were definitely not fresh or HOT. it did have just enough spice on it though. I probably will not visit again because it was not all that but I'm glad I tried it. other than the food the server was awesome ALEC answed all our questions in a very professional manner.and kept our drinks refilled. He went above and beyond with his service. I guess it was not good cause we came a hour before closing and they were shutting everything down by the time we came in. read more

We stop by here while up in the spring area. Great service! It was 7pm so we had a quick 10 min wait for a table. Very clean and nice restaurant. We had the blackened redfish and I just was very impressed with presentation and taste. Definitely will be back. read more

Ordered the blackened red fish w/dirty rice and fried catfish w/fries. The portions are generous but none of the food we received was seasoned. read more

I ordered catfish and it was pinkish, mushy and super thin. It was almost the texture of raw fish. When I questioned the waiter he told me they didn't use "real" catfish. When I questioned further I was told they use Swai fish. It was terrible. When I did some research, Swai is a cheap fish and there are even warnings that it questionable as to whether it is safe to eat. They should not be claiming it is catfish and charging the price as if it is. Very deceptive. read more

This place is amazing, the crab in the appetizers was so good. Not one hint of a fishy/ crabby taste. Ordered the regular and coconut shrimp, the serving was huge. Had to take half of it home. Was perfectly cooked and the shrimp are big. My partner ordered the fish with cream sauce, cannot remember the name of it, it was delicious. Again, no fishy taste. This place is great. FYI...after many many and i mean many years of regurgitating in my mouth at the thought of tasting an oyster, I final did. And I was pleasantly surprised. read more

I thought the food tasted odd and now I'm on my third day of food poisoning. No thanks.

We've been doing their on and off for years. A lot of their food taste like they bought it from Sam's. Their portions are not that big and they seem to be kind of on the high end. We only go there just if my wife has a craving for crab. read more

I apologize in advance, I was so excited to get my food I failed to get any pictures and because I ordered crab legs , shrimp and crawfish once I started my hands were a mess. I asked for the garlic flavor which had a little kick of spice but were sooo good. I'm a pink when it comes to spice so I never get anything to spicy. They had various options for spice levels so you can choose your flavor. The outside eating area was created since Covid-19 so it wasn't that big. If you like myself prefer outside whenever it's an option get there early in the evening and be prepared to wait. Yes I will go back and be sure to get some pictures. Some of us need visual aid. read more

Came in for lunch for the first time. Food wasn't fresh, and it was obvious the majority of food was frozen/from a box and not made in-house. The inside of the restaurant is great and would probably be a fun place to sit at the bar and have drinks. Their chowder was so bland, the food overall just wasn't good. Bummer. read more

Visited here for the first time in awhile. Took some out of town visitors who where looking for crawfish. We will go back again when we need good seafood. read more

We went to this place for a Father's Day dinner. The place was crowded but we had the option to sit outside, which we did and were glad of it--somewhat less noisy, even with the rain on the roof, and the restaurant actually seemed pretty cold inside. It was kind of an up and down meal. The best item I had was the boudin balls--they had a nice crisp batter and flavorful (not too spicy) filling. Would definitely get more of those. We also had onion rings and fried pickles for appetizers, and they were very good--very little added salt on the pickles so the pickle flavor came through. On the low end, my blackened mahi-mahi was not too good--a bland, kind of off sauce on somewhat rubbery fish. Didn't finish it. Many others in our party had entrees they were happy with--the catfish had a crispy, salty breading, the shrimp were fresh and ate well, and our one non-seafood eater was happy with her burger, even though it's a prefab patty. For sides, the green beans were very tasty and well-cooked, perhaps just a little oily but yummy. Cole slaw was not much--barely any flavor other than cabbage. We had a banana pudding and a sundae for dessert. The pudding was quite good, it is very apparently homemade and has great banana flavor--no hint of artificial flavor. The sundae was a big hit, brownie on top and on the bottom. Service was very good, we had a friendly and relaxed waiter who made many trips to our table. The bathroom was not too clean, but not bad for a very busy evening. Overall it was fine, but there are better seafood places if you go farther afield. read more

I hadn't been to this resto in years. I went for crawfish, which were just "ok", but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious snow crab. It was so sweet! I also tried the gumbo and it was pretty good to. Overall, I like this place. I just know for next time, go straight for the snow crab and don't waste my time on the crawfish. read more

Bluewater Seafood - Spring - Blackened catfish. - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

This was an interesting evening. My family and I are in town for my sister's wedding. We flew in from San Diego yesterday. My brother suggested this restaurant as a great Cajun-y seafood place. On our way over, we received a call from CA that my husband's family home burned to the ground in the horrible fires that consumed many areas outside of Los Angeles. It was devastating news. Not because of the loss of the house itself, but because my husband grew up in that house, where his mother died when he was just 12, and that house held priceless photo albums she made for him when planning for her early death due to ovarian cancer. We always meant to go pick them up. We talked about how we needed to get them. We thought we had time. So, upon hearing this news as we are entering the restaurant, we were all crying. Quite a site I'm sure. I proceeded to apologize to our server and explained why we were so emotional. We decided to try and enjoy our dinner, nothing to be done back home, it was burned to the ground. We ordered drinks, apps, salad, and three entrees. (Jambalaya, blackened redfish, chicken fried steak). The drinks were excellent. The food was very good. My blackened redfish was a little over cooked, which was my only complaint. I wouldn't even have mentioned it, but a manager (?) dropped by the table to clear plates and asked how dinner was. I was honest. She was very pleasant and said she would let the chef know to shorten the cooking time. All was good. We waited for the bill. Our server stopped by and said "You're all good. It's been taken care of. You've had enough to worry about tonight." I broke down in tears again. My husband tried to hold it together. This simple act of incredible kindness was totally unexpected and gave me so much hope and deep gratitude for the people who did this for us. Thank you for taking such great care of us during this shocking moment in our lives. I am deeply grateful!! read more

We really enjoy eating here! Our favorite order is the Boiling Pot and Bluewater Boil. Whether it is dine in or to-go our food has always been consistently delicious! Justin is our favorite waiter because he is so friendly and knows what we like! read more

We had a large group of 16 people on Good Friday. They don't usually do reservations but they were very nice in accommodating us with a little heads up notice. Lexy was our waitress. She was excellent and make sure we have everything we needed and very attentive. We had a lot of appetizers. Boudin balls sweet potato fries, oysters, fried pickles. All very good. Mainly we came to eat crawfish. Crawfish were definitely on the large side. Several jumbos mixed in with large and a few mediums. Seasoning was just right was just right. I was extra impressed with how well they were cooked because if you like to eat the claws you know how hard they can be to get out if they're not cooked right. All of the claws pulled out easy. Overall a great experience. We were happy all of our family can get together and enjoy some crawfish at Bluewater. :-) read more

Very very nice! Waitress was great, friendly, attentive...will be returning!! read more

Great atmosphere and the food is one of a kind fresh Cajun seafood. Their tartar sauce is house made and id buy it by the pint (which they were kind enough to let me do) my server Justin was extremely attentative and 2 different managers checked on me to make sure everything was perfect. They also have great cocktails and a liqour selection that is better than alot of bars. They follow covid procedures to the letter with everyone wearing masks and tables social distanced. They offer both QR menus and physical menus for those without QR capabilities. Greta place for family or just to have some drinks read more

I see they have a three star rating but we dine here every crawfish season and they offer some of the best for $6.99lb. This is the first time I've been here since the remodel and the place looks AMAZING! Before they closed for the remodel this was my favorite place to go during crawfish season. I wasn't in the mood for any today, but they had them for $6.99/pound, which is a pretty decent price. Tuesday's are buy 4 pounds and get 1 free. Today I tried the crawfish queso and the grilled garlic butter oysters for an app. Both were pretty tasty and a good value for the price. I ordered the 6 count fried shrimp with fries and hush puppies for my entree. The shrimp were okay. I really don't like when the end of the shrimp is pounded out flat. I prefer them butterflied. The hush puppies were good, but the fries could have been a little crisper. Service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely come back for some crawfish and beer. read more

Hadn't been in a long while. The staff was excellent, but honestly, the food wasn't quite as good as previous visits. The crawfish had sat a bit and not a lot of juice. It seems they aren't cooked when ordered as before. Plenty of food, but just wasn't where it had been before. Plenty of people, which was good to see. We ordered the platter with crab, shrimp, crawfish, extra crawfish, catfish and boudin links, along with oysters on half shell. read more
