Our server, Chad, was very helpful when we asked for suggestions with the menu. The crab dip he suggested was delicious. I went for the crawfish, and they were certainly spicy and plenty big! We all enjoyed our meals- crawfish, fried shrimp, and mahi mahi. I will definitely be a frequent customer during crawfish season! read more

Excellent food! Great prices! We loved it and will be back! Chad did a great job as our server. Take his suggestions he knows what he's talking about! read more

It had been a while since I last visited, but it's still pretty great. Crawfish were good and the bar service was friendly. I'd come back again. read more

Bluewater 2920 spring is absolutely amazing friendly staff and amazing management!!! I will definitely be back

The food and service is outstanding! I love coming here and bringing my whole family to enjoy a nice, fun evening! I've never had a meal here that I wasn't shocked by how amazing it tasted! 100% recommend coming here especially if you love crawfish! read more

Came in with two people and we were seated quickly.Sat ready to order for 10 minutes. Nobody so much as offered us drinks. A large family came in and someone took their order immediately. Got up and slowly walked out without being noticed by even one person. Very very weird place. Went across the street to Neals where we were given drinks bread and food within 20. About a week ago. read more

THE place for great seafood, drinks and crawfish! Definitely the best crawfish around and love the weekly drink specials!

The Boudain balls here are delicious. Gumbo has good flavor and consistency. I would love the oysters to be as big as the crawfish but I still order them cause I love oysters. Wine is a good value. We come here twice a month because we love seafood and there is a good variety here. Plus we like the atmosphere! read more

Great atmosphere ! All the servers work with a fantastic team effort. You never have an empty glass or a dirty plate even on a busy night like tonight. Our server was chad, very attentive and knowledgable. The crawfish was expectional and the calamari was okay but the special sauce made it just right ! This is going to be our new hang out spot for sure ! Thanks blue water . read more

Great service! Our waitress was perfectly attentive. Yummy crabs. Flavorful food. Will go again for sure! Yes, the coconut shrimp was great too! read more

We have been going to the Champions restaurant for a few years, usually on Thursdays for the all-you-can-eat catfish, although my SO gets the crab legs. He says they are OK, but nothing "to write home" about...(home,by the way, is Baltimore, Maryland! So, we do know a thing or two about seafood...). The catfish is always pretty good, but this location leaves so much to be desired and I always question the cleanliness here. Last night was our first time at the 2920 location and WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! The food was WONDERFUL...from the tea to the cheese bread. His crab legs were "perfect," he said, as was my catfish. There is a greater variety offered on the menu, as well. The waitress was also very nice and took very good care of us. The only complaint I have is that they sprinkle red pepper on the ears of corn, which, by the way was cooked perfectly! The next time we go there, and there will most definitely be a next time, I will request no pepper on the corn. Goodbye, Champions; hello, 2920! read more

Consistently good food and good atmosphere. We usually belly up to the bar and enjoy oysters or sit outside on the patio during the few good months of weather. Crawfish is always great and priced fairly. Neighborhood staple for 20 years. read more

Horrible horrible horrible! Crawfish smells like they were caught in the sewer. I asked to speak to the manager and they sent over a 12 yr old boy. Won't see a penny more from me. read more

I know people gave this place a few bad reviews. However, I had a good experience, my food was warm, fast, and VERY tasty!! Beer was cold, and quick to reach my table. Service was good as well. Crawfish is a hit or miss anywhere, so people that complain about crawfish are not knowledgeable about it. I will say the crawfish the night I went were seasoned well and were a very good size! I came on a Friday night and although it was crowded I was seated quickly and had a good time... I will be coming back! read more

My family eats here often and we always like the food and they always have great prices. I did on. One occasion have a bad experience with takeout. I ordered the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and when it came there was only 3 packets of crackers in the bag. I asked for tortillas and the girl came back and said it was an extra .50, it's not a lot of money but really?!! .50 is worth the risk of losing a customer? read more

Very good crawfish, and very good customer service. Staff is very helpful and delivers your food fast and on time.

We stopped by for dinner about 45 minutes before closing. The hostess didn't acknowledge us immediately and made us wait for about 1 minute while she tried to insert a sheet of paper into a book. She then told us to have a seat anywhere! We decided on eating at the bar, so we could watch football. At the bar we were greeted by a bartender that said, " We close at 9:30PM." Stuffed Avocado was black inside; Boudin was very dry; Gumbo was all gravy. I guess that's what we get for visiting so close to closing time. The bar was filled with young people, who appeared to either work there or know people that work there. Some didn't look old enough to drink. Gavin & Hanna were the only people that greeted us kindly and appeared to be working instead of goofing off. read more

Our first visit food was really good. Baked oysters were some of the best we have had. We will go back. My only negative is that they automatically added a 15% tip to the bill. We were 5 adults and 2 small kids and the bill was split 2 ways. While I don't mind tipping and usually do it if service deserves a tip I don't like when they add to bill. I didn't notice it and added a 20% tip then my son noticed they had added 15% so I scratched off my 20% and went with the 15%. Read your bill carefully read more

Ordered to go & was disappointed that i had to ask them for everything..napkins, silverware, butter & spice because we ordered crayfish & the order took forever read more

All I can say is wow!! We came here because it was on our way back home at the start of an 1.5 hr drive and it was my son's birthday. You would think an 12 yo boy would want pizza but no he wanted seafood!! He had a couple of friends with him as well that were into seafood so we ordered them the Blue Water Boil. This dish was more than enough for three 12 yo boys with a monster appetite for seafood it had crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes all in one of several ways you could get it covered (Original, Spicy Garlic, Spicy, band roasted garlic. All of the seafood was done perfectly, the crab came out in full easy to pull chunks with a butter sauce that was oh so good. I had the crab trio which came with an awesome helping of King, Dungeness, and Snow crab all done in one of the previously mentioned sauces. My wife isn't much of a seafood person so she had the chicken friend steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. As always I was forced try everything on her plate even though I'm elbows deep in crab and I have to tell you the green beans were amazing, cooked in some sort of garlic based sauce. The mashed potatoes were awesome as well. The restaurant was busy but the service was still amazing, Jamison took awesome care of my family and I and certainly made the experience that much better. We will certainly be making the drive again to enjoy BlueWater Seafood. read more

We just ate here and the food was fantastic. The seafood selections are great. Will make sure to return.

Been over a year since I've been here. Ordered the shrimp poboy, the fries were soggy and cold, the sandwich was ok. Asked for no tarter sauce or cocktail sauce. It came out with the cocktail sauce on it, had to scrape it off. Love this place, but the cooks need to pay attention and please cook the fries all the way next time. read more

Ordered Boiling Pot, Fisherman's Platter, Champagne Margarita. Tasty, not too spicy. Huge portions, great service, food arrived fast. Our whole family was happy! read more

Every trip here lately has gotten worse and worse. This time I ordered thee crab and it came out cold. Sent it back and it came out like warm and just reboiled. Don't believe I will be returning. Sucks because beginning of crawfish season this year was good but this place is going down hill. read more

First time here and it was great. Fast and friendly service. We went for Saturday lunch. We had the gumbo, oysters on half shell, fried okra with fried mushrooms, coconut shrimp, and fried shrimp. Everything tasted great. I love the coconut shrimp and coconut sauce. I could actually taste the coconut even without the sauce. Oysters on half shell was good too but a tad more expensive than another place we frequent. The loaded gumbo had tons of shrimp and sausage. read more

I can't write about the food at this location because we didn't eat. We went in afternoon on a weekday, it was not crowded, so we were instructed to sit at a table of our choosing. We sat by the bar, ordered drinks and prepared to order, but the stench of cigarette smoke was too overwhelming. We got up to leave, the waitress asked if there was a problem we told her there was too much smoke in the restaurant and we left. On a different note, the food at the location on 1960 and 290 was great. If they allow smoking in there we didn't know it. read more

Had dinner here on a weeknight. Seated immediately. Liked the ambiance and lots of tvs to watch ballgames. We order half dozen Bluerocker oysters. They were fabulous!! Large, meaty and great flavor. Husband had gumbo which he found to be nicely seasoned. I had coconut shrimp served with hushpuppies and fries. The shrimp were butterflied, large and perfectly coated. Had sides of cocktail sauce, tarter sauce and a coconut milk concoction. Yummy. Will definitely be back to Bluewater Seafood. read more

Today was awesome! The grilled oyster combo's were great!!! The could boiled shrimp perfect!! The fried oysters and fried shrimp were the best! Well worth the visit! read more

I will never go back to this restaurant again!! My order was wrong and when they finally brought out my food it was awful! My red fish was dry, the Etouffee was runny with no flavor. After all that the manager came over and said to look him up next time we come in. Hello!! Why would I even try it again!! No credit for the lousy food I had tonight!!!! read more

Best seafood in the Spring area. Clean. Friendly. Relaxed feel. Crawfish is always great. Everything we've had here is awesome. They also serve local craft beer. Wife enjoys the champagne-Rita's. Which are surprisingly not crap, loaded with sugar like most restaurants... Win-win. read more

The crawfish is really good, the food is overpriced! Tailgators has way better crawfish for a better price!

BEST food and service in the Houston area! Great portion to pricing ratio! We enjoyed our dinner with friends and would highly recommend if you are looking for some good seafood. Even better than Joe's Crab Shack in my opinion! read more

I just had lunch here. This is the 2nd time I have been and am disappointed. I ordered the shrimp and catfish combo platter with onion rings. If I am going to pay $16, please put something besides cornmeal on the catfish. Onion ring batter had no seasoning. The fried were ok but could use some seasoning as well. Hush puppies were just a blob. read more

Been coming here for years. Always great food and great staff. Crawfish is awesome. Oysters are amazing on the grill. Atmosphere is great. Must try this place if you haven't. read more

I usually love to go to BlueWater, it is one of our go to places for dinner but tonight I was so disappointed. I am mad at myself that I paid $15.00 for a fried crawfish dinner that only had a hand full of tiny crawfish and two hush puppies. I asked the waitress if the amount she gave me was correct and she said "yes". I have ordered this dish in the past and I know they have given so much more. Tonight was definitely not $15.00 worth. Maybe it's time to find a new go to where you actually get your money's worth. read more

Great food. Service is shotty. I had a server, Tiffany, and she was less than adaquet. Brittany is a great manager and server. If you have any issues ask for her. read more

We are regular customers at BlueWater. We have birthday celebrations, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and just because events here. We bring friends and family here from out of town so we come here often. We love their food and we love our regular servers Christian and Haley. We DO NOT love it on days that Ashley, the manager, is working. We have had two encounters with Ashley and both were negative. How she is a manager is unknown to me. Ashley lacks in customer service skills. We always order the beer battered shrimp/catfish and never have a problem with these entrees unless Ashley is working. We do not have a problem paying extra because we know it does involve purchasing beer and we do not mind waiting longer for the food since this batter is time consuming. We understand this. We are paying customers! What we do not like is being lied to by Ashley the manager. It's one thing to come to the table and talk with us letting us know our order was placed incorrectly by a new server despite the numerous times we told her we wanted beer batter. It's another thing to think that we are idiots in believing that you ran out of beer batter. Did you run out of beer? Basic recipe is beer and flour. We had already waited a good 40 minutes for our order to come out wrong. Unfortunately, our regular servers were not on the floor this day to take care of us. We have no problem getting what we pay for. After complaining, we were then told that our order would take another 20-30 minutes to cook. Did the beer for the beer batter miraculously appear? At this point we were too pissed to even stay and eat. We were told from day one that beer batter platters would not be a problem at this BlueWater. Yet, we only have a problem when Ashley is working. You may have good food but with customer service like this, you will lose great paying customers. read more
