Friendly staff, very knowledgeable of the menu, but service was a little on the slow side. Ordered the grilled shrimp and raw oysters - both were good. Sweat tea was spot on. Waiter for got a particular appetizer which was ordered but he did not charge us for it. read more

Awesome crawfish and great selection on oysters (raw, grilled and fried) Seating outside on this great weather, priceless read more

Visiting Houston & had a dozen oysters & a pound of crawfish, all for $20. The food was very good & the service was as well.

Tried this place for lunch and it was really good. Food came out hot and accurate. I had the catfish Po boy and it was delicious. We had crawfish which were really good. We also had the shrimp Po boys and the crawfish pistol and it was all really good. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely go back when I'm on that side of town read more

This place was amazing took my wife for valentines day and the service was absolutely exceptional very nice and attentive. The waiter was always on time and the owner made sure that everything was perfect for my perfect wife. Great job yall keep it up read more

This was somewhere my husband wanted to try as a family due to seeing it always crowded when we pass by and we love seafood. But this place was definitely a waste of our money from drinks, appetizers, to our meals. The food is not seasoned, it's very bland. The drinks (frozen margaritas) were not frozen, they were melted. We barely seen our server the entire time dining in. And the price we paid for this nasty food was ridiculous. We could had went to Pappas Seafood or Pappadeaux for what we paid here and actually been satisfied. read more

We normally go here for crawfish but this time Crawfish was way too salty. They were a good size so disappointing. There really goo usually.

Friendly staff and great food what else could you ask for. Cold beer and the new patio is awesome to hang out out with the family

We ordered the fried shrimp special while they were promoting shrimp week. This was very good as the shrimp were a great size, cooked very well. Our waiter, Chris was very helpful with our selection. We have eaten at Bluewater several times and always have been pleased with our food. The seafood is always very fresh which great. Some noise but not excessive, but common for this type of restaurant. Never a problem in talking around the table. read more

Stopped for lunch, ordered a frozen Margarita & it was very good, not too tart. Had the fried shrimp & oysters, all cooked just right. Loved the tartar sauce, lol yes I'm picky about the tartar sauce. Service was ok, a little lax. read more

Service on Bluewater restaurant can start see the difference on service, more inexperience service, manager that are not their heart, use to be a family layback, friendly and excellent service, now is poor service, and servers are only trading to do do their job. read more

Best seafood in the world the things I recommend are the pistolets, fried catfish, shrimp poboy, and my absolute favorite snow crab!

The food is great i wish they would expand and give us more space and parking but location is great right off 1960 and easy to find...food amazing read more

Very excited that we found this place! Was very impressed with the food here. Fish was big portion and delicious, shrimp platter had 4 different shrimps and all cooked perfectly. Great food and super reasonable pricing for what you get! read more

Bluewater Seafood - Spring - Yummy! - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

Happy Hour all day Mondays and Sundays is the only thing bringing me back. Food wasn't all that great.

First time here, won't be going back. Service was absolutely terrible. Our server brought us the wrong appetizer, drinks took 20 minutes because they never got rung in, my hot boiled shrimp came out room temperature and after the first two were squishy, I lost my appetite. Forgot to ring in my husband's gumbo. When the gumbo did come out, it was nothing to write home about but he couldn't stomach it after watching my shrimp. read more

Our group wanted crawfish and since it was Mother's Day I was prepared for our visit to Bluewater to be the Worst Idea Ever but it turned out great! We were able to get seated without a wait. I hadn't had a crawfish boil in a long time and found the spices to be bold and flavorful. I quite enjoyed those little mudbugs. The service was friendly and speedy. I think they must have had a surplus of avocados because we were asked no less than three times if we would like to order the stuffed avocado appetizer and it felt like the staff was under orders to push the stuffed avocados at all cost. But that was all part of the delightful experience. I would return. read more

TERRIBLE! If you like COLD fried food that takes forever to get. We sent it back for hot , they just dumped it back in the grease to refry! The owner brought it out but this time it didnt have the amount of food we sent back, no hushpuppies and fewer shrimp and catfish. The bill came to 30.00 and when we asked for a concession for the bad service and cold food and not getting the food we ordered, the owner would only comp 1 glass of tea! This place has the WORST customer service, slow to get your order and the catfish was marginal. We will not go back read more

Because of my last experience at Blue Water, I've passed on the place for over a year and a half. Well, my wife convinced me to give the place another chance since, it was Sunday, and she wanted fried catfish. Anyway, we ordered one catfish dinner with onion rings for her and a catfish dinner with french fries for me. On the positive side: The service was adequate, which is all I expect. Oh, one weird thing, the fork comes in a little envelope, but you have to ask for a knife...strange. Bottom line: Onion rings; commercial pre-battered frozen, french fries; commercial crinkle cut frozen, hush puppies; commercial frozen, catfish fillets; previously frozen, hand battered and over fried. I gave Blue Water 2 stars, this time, because at least the food wasn't spoiled and I probably won't be sick in the morning. But, they'll never see me back again. read more

Bluewater Seafood has really impressed me. I haven't been there since their renovation till today. We celebrated my grandmother's birthday. The crawfish are in season and good size. They could stand to be a little more spicy but the taste was good. The raw oysters were excellent and great value. Overall the food was great the one thing they need to work on in my opinion is the hostess stand I arrived early and gave them my name however many people of my same party size who arrived after got seated before us. I realized I was never given a buzzer perhaps it was just due to how busy they are. All in all it was great and we will go there again. read more

Nice looking establishment. The boudain balls wings were good. Drinks were great. Asked for spicy crawfish it wasn't spicy but were large mix size with ok flavor. Didn't really taste flavor in shrimp or potatoes. The snow crab had no meat inside.. read more

We would go here once a year of so for a treat of Alaskan King Crab legs and went last night for my wife's birthday. The service was very good but the meal and its "equipment" were lacking. The legs tasted very fishy and not all that fresh and sweet as usual. Maybe it is the time of the year but they were very hard to break open and in some cases, the shell section was empty. You only get one regular fork, a pair of plastic crackers and scissors that could barely cut paper. No knives, no little forks to dig the meat of of the shells. Overall, quite disappointing. read more

If you're a diabetic be prepared to be penalized. Broiled seafood platter was delicious. But I wanted to sub the shrimp rice for a vegetable. No problem. But there's a $2.00 upcharge. Even though the shrimp rice price is higher on the side orders. read more

We ate here last night and really enjoyed it. Nice patio but we moved inside due to weather. I had the King Crab and it was delicious. A very good amount of crab and plenty of butter. The vegetables were very good and seasoned well enough that I even ate the veggies I normally wouldn't. The sweet potato fries we also good and it was a huge plate of them! My friend had the shrimp covered Mahi and really liked that, too. Service was very good, great food, great experience! read more

I typically only leave reviews if I have a really bad or good experience. I can definitely say this spot was a 10/10 on food/service/timeliness/cleanliness. It was my first time and will definitely be coming back. read more

Dinner at Bluewater was so delicious, as always! We had the BEST waiter named Dakota. You Rock Dakota!!!! Everyone was wonderful and constantly checking with us and the rest of the customers. Love that there is this location. The sea food is fresh and the plates are large. They have a great beverage selection. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The service is great and the food comes out quickly. I love the shrimp variety and the oyster variety. read more

Best seafood around. We have been coming here for over 10 years and have always had a great experience. Staff are always friendly and Jamison is the best server that you will find anywhere!! read more

Horrible if I could give zero I would have!! Let's see, our shrimp in the shrimp & grits had shells on them. When we told them they took the plate, when we get the plate back, we find that it's the exact same plate. So that means someone for lack of better word fished out or dug out the shrimp cleaned it and put it back. Seriously! We said something and they sent a manager out who took the plate and gave us our ticket. So I guess we just did not need to eat! This is after our appetizer came out with no plates for us to eat in, and my fork was stuck to the bag and I mean seriously stuck like we had to pull and ripped the bag to rip it off the fork. And this is not even to mention the fact that while we waited we saw an employee lift her shirt and scratch her belly, nice & classy! I will Never step foot back into one of their locations Ever again read more

Everything that I have ever had here has been good to awesome....today was horrible Giving this to Murphy Practice up on your softshell crab, the one I had was pure horrible, hard to eat, mushy, not fully cooked all the way, everything you do not want in a poboy. Wait Staff was awesome read more

Take out experience - Very sad to say that I spent $32 on 2 bowls of shrimp gumbo that had NO shrimp not one! I also got a ceviche and it was EXTREMELY small for $11. This place is a joke! One star is too much to give to this place. read more

Tried to support our local business during pandemic but the staff cares less about customer service and more about social media on the phones. Young waiting staff and poor leadership equals a bad experience. Don't waist time supporting this place because they don't appreciate your business they way you are waited on will plenty of staff and not even 10 percent occupied. read more

Went to Blue Water on July 4th, 3 young ladies were running their legs off. Rebekah, our server was friendly, helpful and said it was understaffed for the day. Not one of the three paused for a breath. I saw all three walking with a customer item in their hand. An ice tea, a glass of wine, a plate of food, etc. Our food when it got there was warm, delicious and gone in about 10 minutes. It wasn't Rebekahs fault that things were slow. Nobody I saw was getting upset for the wait. The place was pretty packed with people. Management messed up by not having a few more servers there today. read more

Excellent restaurant visit overall. Courteous, polite staff, large portions, and delicious menu items.

I have visited the 1960 location and always had great service and the food is hit and miss. I ordered the clam chowder and it's pretty decent it's not cape cod cafe which was my original destination but it was closed on Monday. I got there at 3:30 and literally not a soul inside besides the server who waited on us. I also ordered the shrimp basket lunch. My server was nice but like so many employees then started to show up looked bored didn't have patrons and nobody seemed to be able to take our dirty dishes. My shrimp arrived and well they had an aftertaste that I didn't care for, I'm not sure if it's because they're frozen or is it the batter? Idk I wasn't completely satisfied with the food quality. We paid our bill left a decent tip but honestly I think that's my last time visiting a blue water their quality just isn't there. People rave about them but that's because they haven't had anything better, I'm a diehard foodie and this doesn't cut it for me read more
