This place is amazing!! Had the pistolette, clam chowder, gumbo, and shrimp. Delicious!!! And very reasonable!! Our server, Chuy, was so nice and did a wonderful job taking care of us. Do yourself a favor - EAT HERE!!! read more

We have been coming here for years. Great fresh seafood some of the best in Spring. Cheryl took great care of us, was very sweet and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

Bluewater is one of our favorite seafood restaurants in the Spring area, heck, it's my fav anything restaurant. The food is always good, it's reasonably priced and the service is usually wonderful. The restaurant is noisy-it's my only complaint. Love to sit outside when it's good cool weather. I usually get the appetizer boiled shrimp 6 or 12 pieces then I get a corn and potato for a about a buck. Hubby loves their blackened catfish and red beans and rice. It's just a great casual place to eat. read more

I picked this place based on reviews for their boils. There are some here and there reviews, but this had the most consistent for crawfish I could find. Glad we decided to take the extra few minutes and make the drive as we are in town for the weekend in Conroe. So, walked in and seated pretty quickly waiting on the rest of our party. Had our drink order taken and was told the waiter was pretty swamped and it might be a minute. It wasn't too packed, but I've waited tables... so I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed sometimes from a long day. Okay, cool. The rest of our party arrived and our beer still hadn't arrived from the bar after about 10 minutes. Then we sat about another 10 minutes before we waved someone down to get our waiter to get the rest of the drinks and missing beer. The manager (I think) took our drink order from the beginning and was told our waiter never showed. He immediately apologized, had the beer and rest of the drinks quickly and our waiter arrived and also apologized. The manager offered an appetizer on him for our inconvenience. How thoughtful and much appreciated gesture! He recommended the boudin balls. we also ordered gator bites. The boudin balls had decent flavor, but that did not taste like any boudin I've ever had from Louisiana or south Texas. It wasn't bad, but seemed almost homemade. It seemed to be missing the thickness of traditional boudin and probably wouldn't order them again being I grew up eating boudin a little differently. Now, for the boils! Yummy!! We both did the spicy level for heat and glad we did. The crawfish were big, the crab were sweet and the shrimp were not small by any means. The crawfish were cleaned well and the plates were awesome. Seems odd to say, but I like that they were plated instead of dumped in a plastic container. Overall excellent place to eat and would definitely return. I would go for the crab legs next time after trying my boyfriends. Definitely worth it. read more

I went to Bluewater while in Houston to visit family. We were a party of 9 so we kept our server "Tiger" running quite a bit. But he handled it no problem. We all had oysters which although were fresh were a little smaller than I expected. I had the spicy crawfish which were very tasty and had a serious bite to them. others at my table had the Catfish, King Crab, Shrimp, and Gator and everyone enjoyed. The highlight of the evening was the "race that Tiger set up for my nephews birthday which we were celebrating. I wont ruin the surprise but, I will say it was the funniest birthday celebration I have ever experienced at a restaurant . We laughed so hard we were crying. Thanks Tiger! We will definitely be back when I'm back in town I'm just not sure they can top the birthday fun next year. read more

The last few times I've been to this restaurant, the service has been great! The server Dakota was really awesome and helpful. Very friendly. My experience with this restaurant is now a positive one so they either got rid of the bad server I had, or I haven't been seated in her section again. read more

Tasty food with friendly staff. It was the perfect spot for my son's birthday because he loves crab! read more

Recently went back here after a long time away and the the place may have aged, but the food and good service remained the same. I recently visited with friends and we had a pleasurable lunch from the gator and calamari to the main dishes of king crab and blackened catfish while having some cold margaritas. Good local stop when there are many choices to choose from. read more

Decent food, decent service when your waitress isn't busy being on their phone or sitting at another booth eating along with the hostess . Won't be coming back. Needed multiple things but server disappeared read more

Let me just say...as someone in the business...personality makes any server rememberable. Tyger (yes with a Y) was an awesome server! Was so funny & just bullshit with us. Made my dad super happy for his birthday and even got us a dessert. If you go out to this location; ask for Tyger; you won't be disappointed! Food was delicious as well but the service made the difference! read more

I have been a frequent patron for years. The food never disappoints and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. Don't deserve to be open, during this day and age. Night manager is horrible along with the rude staff. Throw the whole business away. read more

I've been here in the past but good quality was average. Last night I was driving by to go to Papa's Seafood and saw this place packed. I thought to myself this place may have better food and this is exactly what I experienced. Crawfish to die for, hot with a little kick to it. I wanted to order Salmon but ended up with Monterey Chicken. Saw a lady next to us with a Salmon and it looked over cooked or she may have ordered well done, didn't want to take a chance. This place has come a long way. Give it a shot. Side note to the restaurant, if you do not ask customers temperature for Salmon, don't go beyond medium well. If you do, she may just have ordered well done. Also for Salmon lovers, offer wild caught Atlantic Salmon as well. Charge more but do give us an option. read more

Food was great and fresh!!! We had a boiling pot and the captains pot. Crab legs were tasty and fresh. Shrimp were huge and crawfish had a good flavor. Boudain was very tasty. Drinks were good and strong. We will return. read more

Wanting high blood pressure, this is the place for you. While the food seemed fresh and not of the frozen variety, which would be much worse, someone seems to have discovered a salt mine and is going to town in the kitchen. Service Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Food service was pretty quick Pros 1. Big crowd (don't be fooled) 2. Friendly staff 3. Quick service Cons 1. Fried food is very salty (fried pickles, stuffed Jalapenos, etc.) 2. Boudin balls are not authentic Other Etouffee and crab cakes were passable. This is not the worst, but is far from the best when it comes to seafood. Your money would be better spent at Pappas seafood or Pappadeaux! read more

I love this place Justin makes it very easy with my food allergies even remembering when I don't. They can serve fresh water boil seafood and it comes out great every time which is the only place I know that does this. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. read more

Fantastic little seafood dive in the middle of spring. Seafood is fresh and the atmosphere is unpretentious and casual. Gulf and Blue Point oysters were some of the best we have had in Texas! The ceviche was also perfect! Looking forward to coming back with a bigger appetite for dinner! read more

Received a $15.00 off gift to use for our last experience and decided to try them out again. We decided to order to go and It was much better. The food once again was awesome and well seasoned (although we had to tell them again to take it back and put the spicy sauce on it and extra dust). The service was great and we will try them again but maybe one of the other locations. read more

The crawfish was pretty good but I didn't receive any of the extras I purchased so be on the lookout for that.

Love our time at Bluewater. Service is great and food is delicious. Everything we have ordered has been so good.

I'm thinking it might have been good if anyone had ever taken our order or given us menus. We were told to seat ourselves and then no one ever came to our table. Another mom and child came in. They were taken to a table and given menus. I stared in jealousy. Granted I only waited 10 minutes, but a menu would've been nice reading. Folks looked happy there with their food though. I'm not bitter. read more

It's an hour from where I live but it was such a good choice since we were in the Woodlands area. The wait staff was nice and the place was clean. We came in between lunch and dinner at an odd time so it was relatively empty but I can tell they get really busy during the evening time. We had a variety of dishes. Crab Stuffed Jalapenos 5/5 - YUM! I love stuffed jalapenos and there were not in the least disappointing. Oysters 4/5 - Good but I've had better. New England Clam Chowder 5/5 - Haven't had it in so long and this hit the spot! Shrimp Po'Boy 4.5/5 - Everything about it was good except the bread needed just a little bit more time in the toaster! 3lbs of Crawfish 4/5 - I've had better crawfish but these were very good. Good experience and good food. read more

We usually frequent their 1960/Champion Forest location but on this day we decided to try this spot and so glad we did! It is a lot bigger and has more tables inside and out and much livelier than the other location. Our waiter, Brian, was awesome and I have to say their food is consistent from one place to the next. Since I can no longer eat crawfish (BOO!!) I ordered the Mariner's Platter - grilled fish, shrimp, scallop, oyster with a side of toast and medley veggies - and my better half got the Captain's Catch - 1 lb. crawfish, 10 boiled shrimp, snow crab - both for very reasonable prices. There are TV's throughout the restaurant so you won't miss a thing when it's baseball, football, or basketball season - in every direction you look you'll see a TV. It is a few minutes farther away from the Champion Forest spot, but we are willing to make the drive. read more

It just got renovated in every way and reopened this past Monday. It looks really nice inside and they have a great bar with 3x 55in LED TV(great for sports). The ambiance is very family friendly and the servers are well trained. NOW... Non of this matter unless the food is good and is not, ITS GREAT!! You have to try a pistolette for sure. The fried Catfish has the best breading I've ever had, and the shrimp is excellent. I now will go back there to eat everything I just told you, but for the love of food, order my favorite: Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Shrimp Sauce and sautéed green beens, You are welcome. I have now been to all 3 locations and the food quality is equal in all of them. Bon appétit! read more

Friendly service. Ample parking. Good for family or date night. Bartender wasn't stingy nor did he serve diluted liquor. Had a purple rain while waiting for my takeout which was perfect. Trying out this California crawfish for first time. There was a subtle difference with meat texture or more of a sweetness which I didn't mind. Didn't care for the boil seasoning they used but only because I prefer the Vietnamese or Asian seasonings. $6.99 a pound is best price I've seen so far for this imported crawfish. Would go back again. I would only recommend other crawfish seasoning options. read more

Ordered 3 pounds of crawfish to go, was ready in less than 20 minutes for me to pick up, still hot and steaming when I finally opened the boxes after getting to my friends house. Very enjoyable, pleasant staff. Very crowded. I would recommend taking my advice and ordering to go if you just want to get your food right away. Deducting one star because of a few comments I heard the manager of the location say to a couple waiting to be seated regarding another party who were too heavy to be sat at the temporary card table. I understand you made a joke at your own expense as well sir, but nobody needs to hear that. The couple he was talking to obviously felt disgusted with your comment too. This happened March 1st during dinner service. read more
