I can't say enough about Blue Pearl Paramus. My dog, Bernie, had a very tricky case. He was suffering from a mysterious infection in his nasal cavity that we spent forever trying to figure out. In the end, Dr. Eriksson and Dr. Monaco gave him the very best care. They always explained everything to me in detail and answered all of our questions. They worked as a team, even seeking advice from other doctors, to give him the best treatment possible. The decision to remove a few of Bernie's teeth, I feel, saved his life. They found two, yes two, "branches"'of some sort in his nasal cavity (see attached). The only possible way to have retrieved the foreign objects, was to, in fact, remove some of his teeth. I feel confident that Bernie will now live an infection-free life. The staff, as well, couldn't have been friendlier and more approachable. This is my "go-to" emergency vet for life. read more

BEWARE! Read other reviews with the exact same problems! They've ruined my dog's quality of life. We took our dog to Blue Pearl because it was the closest vet that would perform surgery on my dog's tendon. Everything was ok until a few weeks post-op. During one of the routine bandage changes, they wrapped everything too tight and cut the circulation off to my dog's leg. He developed a fever, was lethargic, lost his appetite and developed a putrid smell from the bandage area. He developed a nasty infection that nearly took his life. We tried to schedule bandage changes and Blue Pearl told us to wait for the surgeon who was on vacation. When they finally saw him, instead of immediately trying to fix the problem, Blue Pearl tried to put blame on us for negligence even though we followed their exact instructions. Thankfully, we found an amazing vet that took great care of him and let us know exactly what caused the injuries (tight bandage wrap). It took my dog months of recovery and he still cannot go on walks. He eventually had to have one toe amputated and half of his paw pad never recovered. He will never be the same again. They are shameless and not to be trusted. When they say they care for your pet, it's a complete lie. They only care about their pocket. read more

I have the highest regards for the compassion and caring of those that work at BluePearl. My girlfriend's dog was getting up there in age and having health issues. We were worried this time because no matter what, this dog would always eat. Well, this time was different and we wanted to make sure she was okay so we called BANFIELD (PARAMUS), her vet of choice for almost 16 years and when we expressed our concern and wanted to bring her dog in they told us they didn't have the time and to call an animal hospital very coldly and indifferent. Well, BluePearl was recommended and they handled it like professionals. They were carrying and concerned. Turned out it was her dogs calling and any attempt to prolong her life anymore would have been fruitless as we didn't want her to suffer. They performed Euthanasia and when we asked if we could be present, they told us due to Covid-19 they weren't allowing people inside but this was their one exception. They brought us to a curtained off area, wearing masks and gloves of course, and they brought our dog Lady down to us on a gurney partially sedated but aware and in no pain. They let us say our last goodbyes before performing euthanasia on her. It was over in 30 seconds and they were so kind. We even received a hand written sympathy card with an insert for a support group for this who've lost their forever pet. Kudos to BluePearl and...... SHAME ON BANFIELD. read more

We have had our cat, Lola since she was 2 days old, today she is 6 yrs old. Since day one she's always been difficult when going to the vet. She has fear-based aggression so she will attack anyone and everyone. On Saturday we took her to her primary vet because we noticed a change in her eating habits. We asked the vet to check in her mouth to see if she was having some dental issues. They did this without sedation and we believe inadvertently bumped her mouth. We noticed some swelling on her lower right lip Saturday night. We assumed it was from the dental examination and would go down with time. On Sunday around 9 pm my husband and I noticed blood and pus where the swelling had been and called her primary vet immediately. They were closed but since we were concerned about an infection we were referred to BluePearl and I am happy that we were. We were first greeted by Nicole at the front desk and she asked for Nare the technician to come and meet us. We explained Lola's temperament she then evaluated the situation and advised us in the best course of treatment. We showed her and Dr. Beverly pictures of the injury and they suggested giving her an antibiotic injection and for us to monitor her for the next week. We are very grateful for the care and attention that was given to us yesterday. We've always had trouble taking Lola to the vet, and they made this a quick, and painless visit. Thank you! read more

Went here after my vet confirmed with BluePearl the they could do a surgery on his eyelid and tail at the same time so I could avoid putting my dog under anesthesia twice. After a 5 minute consultation the recommended doctor he said he doesn't work on eyes at all. But did charge me $200 for the 5 minutes. Pretty gross of you guys. I'll keep my dog's health in the hands of Oradell Animal Hospital and Westwood Regional where they know what they're doing. read more

This was our first visit to Blue Pearl emergency vet facility and I'm very glad that we found them. Me and my Bella experienced amazing care and service. The Dr Kathleen and attendant Jason were kind, patient and compassionate in our time of need. These are caring and compassionate professionals. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The receptionist was polite. The doctors were very transparent about the costs of the services and provided me an estimate. Bella has been sent home with an e-collar to prevent her from causing trama to her eyes. So now we just hope the allergy will end soon And everything will be fine again. I brought my cat here for the first time of course bringing an animal to the hospital for an emergency is never a stress free type of encounter. The staff were very cordial and sympathetic, the facility is very easy to find and very clean they took care of my cat very quickly they offered some other services which I did not think I needed and the vet agreed it only cost $169 to check out my cat and fix her paw which was slightly infected and had an ingrown nail in it. The oncology nurse answered every question, returned every call to me and basically held my hand for two weeks during my cats illness. They first appeared lovely and as accommodating as could be. Then I paid them a lot of money and left my cat with them for 2 days. My lack of stars is for the faulty communication and tech staff. My 3 stars go to the doctors and the financial coordinator, who actually helped to make some of this right. He had been on an IV, feeding tube, and catheter, so I expected him to be unhappy when I took him home. What I did not expect was a cat with his entire belly and hind quarters full of dried matted feces. Had it not been so obviously a day old, and he not so delicate and dangerously ill, i would have cleaned him up myself. But that's not my job. Thats why he was in hospital. That's a part of the hospital protocol and if an animal is leaving that way, that means that either the techs aren't doing their job or the supervisors aren't checking the work they are signing off on. In reality, supervisors should be held accountable for that. So if you don't train or watch your techs, you should be prepared for the discontent to come back at you. They tried to accommodate my discontent best they could, and I appreciate they are an emergency facility, but if you are going to charge me and then send my cat home covered in matted feces, ultimately leading to a new infection, for which we "need to just come back for"....you should reimburse a parent paying over $2,000 in final costs for "care" at least for the extra trip you cost that patient and parent. That trip cost me $60 in car payments and 3 hours of my workday at which I'm paid $200/hour. I've definitely been played here. I'lll gladly take that low-ball $600 back for the unnecessary fees, driving, and stress on my pet by making him go back and forth. Not to mention, this clinic is well aware my cat is super anxious and gets aggressive at the vet so the visit alone is incredibly stressful and usually requires sedation that none of us actually want! I appreciate the efforts of those doctors that actually came forward and helped my baby, but I cannot condone a place where the nurses or techs are so unaware that a cat can get sent home covered in dried feces ultimately resulting in a new infection that NOW I have to pay for apparently. And I did, cause I'm a sucker who loves my cat and is easily played these money-hungry assholes; for improper bathing leading to infection? Come on. Should the good doctors who work here get a grip on the techs, perhaps this can be a wonderful animal hospital. Until then, expect unhappy parents who (god forbid) expect their babies to leave there without new open sores from neglect. read more

Our beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer and we needed to find an Oncology Vet. We were nervous, scared and uncomfortable having to see another vet other than our own. After arriving at Blue Pearl, we were greeted by caring friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us to make us comfortable. Upon meeting Dr Matt Sherger, the Onc Vet, he immediately made us feel better by carefully explaining all our options, gave us his recommendation, and worked with us to help lay out the course of treatment that would be best for our dog and her type of cancer. He was very mindful about keeping our dog's quality of life in the forefront her treatment. We were lucky--our pup's cancer is treatable. And affordable. We left feeling positive and confident and relieved that our dog is in excellent care. Dr Matt and his oncology nurse Betty were wonderful compassionate, patient and answered all our questions, and made us feel they were always accessible to us. We have a tough journey ahead with no guarantees, yet we feel positive, hopeful and confident that we have an excellent team at Blue Pearl to help us bring our dog into remission. read more

this is by far the worst animal hospital I have ever been to.. Took my pup to Hoboken Animal Infirmary to get some vaccines and seems like they shot him up with a vaccine in which he was NOT supposed to get because the doctor was too busy talking to my husband and I instead of looking at what he was grabbing. Any who, my dog started drooling profusely 20 mins after bringing him home from the vet. I took him to this ER because he was just not getting better and the first thing out of the Doctors mouth was DID HE GET INTO ANY NARCOTICS! WHAT??!! THEY PROCEEDED TO ASK 3 MORE TIMES after we told him NO! I asked him if he was pre-judging my husband and I because we had tattoos and no answer given.. I was and still am beyond disgusted at the way we were treated. We were also told they wanted to keep us in the waiting room to see how "the dog would act!" What does that even mean? $200.00 dollars later and fingers being pointed at us, they did absolutely nothing for my puppy. I told the receptionists how disgusted, appalled and offended I was and they just turned their heads and kept on doing what they were doing. As we were getting ready to leave the Pet ER, one of the girls said the Doctor was really sorry he made you feel offended. I proceeded to say that he's so sorry he couldn't even come out, show face and apologize on his own?! Never again will I bring my dog here for an emergency! Blue Pearl saved our baby's life! Our 14 years young cat was diagnosed with an injection site sarcoma on her back. We were told by our primary vet we needed to get her into surgery ASAP! Being as we have never had to deal with something like this I didn't know where to start. I started reading reviews and asking around. I finally chose blue pearl for a few reasons. #1) my best friends dog had just had surgery on her leg and she had nothing but positive things to say. #2) This was the only place that was able to get me in, within a few days, being as it was a situation that needed to be taken care of as soon as humanly possible The girl I scheduled with was kind and caring and for some reason, after hanging up the phone I just felt like everything was going to be ok! Later that week we met with Dr. Bonczynski, she was nothing short of amazing! She spoke with us about all our options, her opinions on how it was going to go etc. She was compassionate, informative, patient and so loving towards our baby from the moment she walked in the room. Our baby went in for surgery last Tuesday, they called when they brought her in and the Dr called when it was finished. I was assured I could call and check up on her as needed (and I did!) and every single time I was greeted with nothing but kindness and concern. I have also probably called everyday since she's been home with a question or concern and they have always made sure I get the answer needed. I also made a mistake with one of the medications and needed a replacement, 10:30 at night i drove over and someone came out and gave me what i needed! If you cannot tell, I am so thankful to have found blue pearl, they saved our baby! BluePearl Pet Hospital - Puddy 2 days post op - Veterinarians Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

I have used this hospital for both their orthopedic specialty services as well as emergency services. Unfortunately, my puppy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 5 months. My regular vet specifically recommended Dr. Jennifer Bonczynsky at Blue Pearl for further medical assistance. She was very calm and reassuring. She was also up to date on current research regarding joint problems in large breed dogs. She did not push any puppy surgeries and my dog was able to make a near full recovery through holistic care and a tapering course of anti-inflammatories. Her hips will never be perfect but now she can be the active dog she deserves to be. When my neighbor's (and friend's) dog ingested mouse poison, we drove straight to Blue Pearl. Again they were very reassuring and caring and took us in right away and didn't rush us away. They even took care of a minor health issue the dog was having outside of the emergency. Its also a new facility with very large windows. My dog loves that and it relaxes her to be able to see outside and not be in a room that feels like a closet. I highly recommend this facility over other emergency hospitals in the area. read more

My rating has to be low because it needs to draw attention. BluePearl is a specialized animal hospital dealing with end of life issues and complicated illnesses. After going to my local vet who referred me to a hunger level of care ( Oradell Animal Hospital), I was then referred to BluePearl. Met with a lovely doctor, spent about $11,000 over the course of 4 visits and eventually we knew it was time to put our little fur baby to sleep. I'm a realist and although I was sad I knew it was time. ( well at least I hoped) Euthanasia is never easy for someone who has an ill pet. Now this was over a year ago. It's taken me this long to write this review because of how much pain I've been in. This is a poor review because I was given NO advise, no counseling, no way on how to handle it. Afterwards the doctor asked me if "it was my first time". I get what that means now. My review has to do with the lack of SENSITIVITY and lack of INFORMATION and lack of FOLLOW-UP for someone who must euthanize a pet. I called them about a week later just to say that they might want to consider a bereavement group, a pamphlet, a kind world, a follow up phone call, a follow up letter. Something to acknowledge the profound loss. Since then I've read a ton of articles on the loss of a pet realizing it could sometimes be worse than a human loss. For Pete's sake people acknowledge that. It is part of total care. Something as simple as handing out the rainbow bridge poem, or something like train the staff to say I'm so sorry for your loss. We rushed our dog to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Paramus with a very serious emergency involving breathing difficulty. We alerted them that we were coming and we literally ran up the stairs carrying him. A vet tech immediately took him back to the operating area and began working on him. The vet came out and updated us right away. The vet and the staff were all very compassionate. Sadly, he was too far gone and even with CPR there was no hope for him. We decided to call off the CPR when he did not respond. Then, the real compassion came out. They had a grieving room where they let us stay as long as we needed, and even let us see and hold him after he passed. They clearly explained the options and costs, and we decided on an individual cremation. They made all the arrangements. On the way out, we noticed that they had a little candle display at reception which they had lit and indicated that we were saying good-bye to our boy. A couple of days later, they lets us know that they had received the ashes, and we could come in whenever we felt up to it to pick them up. I was expecting to receive just a cardboard box with the ashes inside, but they went the extra mile and gave us the ashes in a beautiful sealed wooden box with his name on it and included a cast of his paw print with his name on it. Their kindness and compassion really helped get us through this difficult time. I highly recommend them to anyone. read more

You would expect whether big or small of the concern that they would at least have some type of care. I had thought my dog was hurt because she had shown sign of pain on her right side. Thankfully there seem to have not been anything wrong with her. The women though had asked very rudely why did I bring her in even though I had already explained why I was bringing her. Blue Pearl Review [BLUE PEARL IN PARAMUS] Do not take your pet here!!!! I took my fur baby here because I thought he had eaten something that he shouldn't and he was throwing up foam, had discharge from his nose, had not eaten and he was extremely lethargic. They called me and said they would have to perform x-rays to rule out an obstruction since he is a puppy that tends to eat things he shouldn't ($1000). I asked what would be the process if there was an obstruction and they assured me he would enter into emergency surgery. I then got a call from the doctor saying that the x-ray was inconclusive and that they sent it to a radiologist for further analysis. That they recommended leaving him overnight ($2000) and that she would like to run the x-rays again in the morning (another $1000). I then stated that based on this information there was technically nothing that she could do for my fur baby tonight. She then answered that nothing could be done because they did not have a surgeon on site!!!! When they had previously spoken to me like my baby would need surgery right away! All the phone calls I got were more about "how are you going to pay" than about giving me information about my baby! They do NOT care about the animals just about how much they can exploit your love for them. GO ELSEWHERE!!!! I spent $1,000 for inconclusive x-rays and then was sent home to "fast" my dog and "see if he wakes up better." Not to mention the attendants had no bedside manner and were extremely rude! All the calls I got started with a price-tag! This place is a piece of GARBAGE!!!! And when they brought out my boy the attendant tried to pick up his hind legs and force him in the car, meanwhile he was in pain! We are his owners and were letting him go at his pace and here she comes and tries to stuff him into the car. If that was in front of us, I can only imagine how they were treating him when we weren't around. They also listed his weight as being 100 pounds! I have a year old Rottie and he weighs over 110 pounds, they must have had him on the scale for like 1 second and not have let the scale calibrate. They also listed him as having no discharge from his nose when I took him to the ER because HE HAD EXTREME AMOUNTS OF MUCUS COMING FROM HIS NOSE AND MOUTH!!! This place is run by the biggest group of incompetent people I have ever met!!!! Then I took my dog to his primary vet and he had ..... Kennel cough.... The vet in blue pearl saw my dog and ran an x-ray when he had kennel cough... Idiot and moron are too nice of words to describe the brainless people working here that call themselves vets. read more

I had used Blue Pearl a few times in the past for some appointments for my dog with their Cardiologist but had a separate every day vet for everything else. My elderly dog had many medical conditions and had stopped eating & drinking for days. When the very hard time came to make the most difficult decision, unfortunately my regular vet was not available due to a holiday weekend. They suggested Blue Pearl which is where I ended up going. The entire team there showed such compassion during one of the most difficult days for my family. Their vet took her time to meet with us and review my dog's medical history (we had her medical records transferred over on our way in) and she helped to provide guidance to my family during this difficult day. The entire staff was so compassionate as my family said their difficult goodbyes. I will never forget how amazing their entire staff was during such a horrible day. read more

We brought our 14 year old dashund, Richie to Blue Pearl on the advice of our primary vet. We met with Dr. Al-Gazlat. Richie was having bladder infections and not responding to antibiotics. He did some testing and Richie's prostrate was enlarged which most likely was cancer but tests didn't show it being cancerous. We opted out of surgery that would have confirmed it. He was doing well for 6 months, then things turned around for the worse. Dr. Al-Gazlat was very kind and kept us informed of his condition. He always called us back with any of our concerns. Dr. Bloom also saw Richie. Richie was calmly put to sleep while in our lap. On his favorite blanket. He lived a wonderful life and was a joy to us. His passing was made so compassionately. All I can say is the staff were so kind and caring. I would highly recommend them. read more

I cannot be anymore appreciative of how bluepearl handled our little dachshund's procedure. He needed to have his spleen removed due to a large mass which caught us off guard. The staff took such good care of him and provided us with updates as needed. Dr. Jennifer Bonczynski was the surgeon and called us as soon as he was out of surgery and really calmed our already shot nerves. The next day we were notified early in the morning that our boy was ready to go. Despite us not being there due to Covid 19, bluepearl treated our boy with the utmost level of care. When we arrived with our 8- week-old puppy who was writhing in pain and screaming we were told, very curtly and matter-of-factly, there was a 6 or 7 hour wait to be seen. It was our first time experiencing an emergency with our pet. We thought Blue Pearl was a legitimate place to take an animal with an emergency problem since the name is Blue Pearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital. Nothing could be farther from the truth. BLUE PEARL Paramus BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!! Do Not Bring your Pet here ! It ought to be called 'black pearl instead of blue pearl.' It's a place of death. My dog walked in on all 4 paws for just an x-ray. He walked out on 3 paws, shaved, catheter in him with stiches from an operation. I never gave permission for any operation. When I brought the dog in the tech brought me an estimate for $325 for an x ray. She said it would only be another $50 if they had to give medicine. The dog came out with a $560 bill. When I called to speak to the vet, the vet would not talk to me. It's only when I asked for the blue pearl corporate no. is when I got a telephone call from the veterinarian spouting anger at me yelling, "I am giving you a total refund. Don't give me your shit. It's people like you that veterinarians commit suicide over. Veterinarians have the highest suicide rate. I could be fired for doing an operation on your dog and you should have paid $1,150 for that operation." WOW !!! What is this vet talking about. I paid for an x ray. I knew nothing about an operation let alone a catheter in the dog. What I really believe happened was the rude blonde tech who came running out in the street to grab money up front positioned the dog wrong when she maneuvered the x ray and hurt the dog. Originally when Lisa (NICE tech) came out with this rude blonde tech I told Lisa I was only allowing my dog to be in the x ray room as long as she would be there in the room with my dog. I was lied to because in the aftermath the rude blonde tech said, "Lisa was never in the x ray room." The dog would not have been hurt if Lisa was in the x ray room and even if the veterinarian had done the x ray themself. Good vets will do x rays on dogs themselves. The problem with this place is the veterinarian is listening to rude techs instead of controlling the situation themself. This is also why the veterinarian called me out of the blue and went ballistic. The veterinarian was stirred up by the rude staff, and it's a shame. Do not pay this place $1,000's of dollars. They're confused and don't seem to know what they're doing. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. One of these days someone will sue them for millions of dollars and they won't exist anymore. This is not what Doctors and Veterinarians sign up for. They just get sucked in because they have huge bills to pay to the educational price gaugers. I'd like you to know that your pet receive quick quality care just 45 to 60 minutes south of here. There are also many in Pa. In Paramus and any North NJ animal group I was quoted $5,000. for a feline surgery that I paid $600. south of here. It was considered an emergency intervention that would save the life of my cat. These places are owned by heartless enterprising companies. Many people will not be able to afford these prices and animals will be put down needlessly. Please shop around if you have time. I was lucky I caught an infection early and was able to phone around. I was taken the same day. read more

Took my Doberman there today, and everyone who works there is so kind and caring,. They estimated the costs upfront, so there are no surprises. They handled my dog's emergency diagnosis with empathy and extraordinary care. While i was there, staff kept me updated on his condition, over all a much better experience than I had at the O. Animal Hospital across the street, they did not offer any unnecessary treatments, took my dog right in and did not ask for a $2500 - $4000 deposit upfront. What they charge is the going price for emergency services, but human compation you can not put a price on. Thank you! read more

On April 23rd we brought our golden retriever Carly there to have emergency surgery. We we're told it was risky because it was major surgery but if she makes it through we could have a few good years with her. So we paid them 5500 and they proceeded to do the surgery. They called us an hour later to say she was doing great. So the next day we picked her up and we're given instructions on how to care for her and to call if there were any changes. She was doing great for 2 days. By Friday she was not doing well and I called and they told me to stop the antibiotics so we did. The next day she was still doing poorly so I called again and the receptionist told me to give her the pain medication. I don't understand why she didn't get the doctor on the phone or tell us to bring her in. The next day my baby girl passed away. The lack of communication in this facility is unacceptable and they should be held accountable for our loss. A card or a phone call would have been nice to express their condolences. The only calls we received was from the Administrator and the surgeon saying sorry for the miscommunication with the staff. I think they should refund us for they're negligence. I have spoken to our lawyer to see what our options are and that no one else will ever have to go through this ordeal. It's hard enough to lose your pet but to be treated so poor is disgusting. We went into this hospital only seeing the YELP reviews and knowing it was open late! We were grateful for that as we had a very acutely sick cat that was perfectly healthy the week before. Firstly, the hospital is clean, organized , and extremely welcoming. That set a nice tone upon entering. After a short wait we were seen by a competent vet tech and then the DVM. This doctor gave us a great deal of time to explain the symptoms. Then she did a thorough exam and came back with some initial findings. We decided to run some bloodwork and save more invasive testing for the am if in fact needed. It was clear our cat would not be going home. This was heartbreaking for us and not going to lie we were extremely concerned about the costs in a full service pet hospital. Miraculously, we got a phone call a couple hours later explaining that the MD discovered that our cat had been attacked by another animal and the abscessed wounds were only discovered after the MD had shaved our cat down . Immediate tx was started and we were allowed to pick our cat up in the early am ,thereby, avoiding further charges. We had 2 more competent visits to remove the drain from our baby and later remove the stitches. What a happy ending. Our 15 year old cat is happy and thriving again , albeit, always a challenge to keep him in as he is wildly adventurous. We are very grateful for Blue Pearl in our time of great need. Blue Pearl helped heal our pet, and our family, given a very traumatic event in our new puppy's life - traumatic brain injury at 11 weeks old. We were devastated and horrified to suffer such an event after our new puppy's arrival. After losing our 17 year old Pom this event was a real horror for us, but Blue Pearl made us and our puppy feel comforted as they guided us through this difficult event. I never felt as if they were looking to gauge us, or that they didn't understand the serious nature of our pets injury. They never insisted on performing any more treatment than we were comfortable with and offered alternatives. We put our faith in them and they helped us through this difficult time as I would have hoped. I got back from Blue Pearl 45 minutes ago - gave my pup his meds and immediately came to Yelp to show Blue Pearl my appreciation. Tonight was my first visit as my dog started passing blood. The regular vet was already closed so I called Blue Pearl and was immediately impressed with my first contact, Alexa. She gave me clear information without being pushy or panicky. She explained pricing and processes over the phone. Upon arrival tech Kelly (everyone made sure they knew my name - and the dog's - and that I knew theirs) listenes to every detail, asked important questions, and gave me clear info as to what was happening every step of the way. It was a bit busy when we arrived but we had an immediate waiting room assessment, timeframe was explained (we weren't a true emergency, and I was ok waiting, but Kelly made sure I understood how cases are prioritized and asked if I was comfortable). Before the vet came in, I was asked if the tech could take the dog for an initial scan without me - I was told what would happen, why, and assured it wasn't an extra charge. The vet, Dr M Lee, was so lovely and extremely thorough in her assessments and explanations. My dog is an old rescue with a host of ailments and, even though we were there for a specific problem, Dr Lee gave an overview of my pups issues, then pinpointed the specific problem and likely causes. I was presented with a variety of next steps - including a very transparent option to see my regular vet if I felt more comfortable waiting to make a choice. Equally transparent were pricing and which procedures were optional versus strongly recommended. My concerns and questions were listened to and fully answered. Honestly, I felt better informed about my pet's overall health than I have with years of seeing my regular vet. The entire team I interacted with was calm, personable, and very loving to my dog while making sure I was 100% comfortable every step of the way - they made a stressful evening completely manageable. read more

Highly recommend this pet hospital for staff, facilities, convenience, and overall value. The veterinarians/specialists my pets have been cared by are extremely knowledgeable--but not arrogant--and explain the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan in clear understandable language. It's clear the specialists have excellent training and experience in the latest medical standards of care and procedures. They know where research is being done globally and who the best specialists are worldwide for rare and higher risk procedures. LOVE that this hospital is not procedure/revenue-driven like other local hospitals and some private veterinary clinics. I've found they recommend what's best for the pet without rushing to perform the most expensive, invasive, risky procedure.They are genuinely compassionate and spend the appropriate amount of time with you. The facilities are clean, new, and spacious. the location is convenient and it's open 24/7/365. They don't have MRI and other high cost, specialized diagnostic and treatment services on site for very high risk conditions and fragile pets, but neither do other local 24/7/365 hospitals. read more
