I've had a deeply troubling horrible expensive experience with the dental services provided by Dr. Ryan Cullinan of Blue Dot Dental, as well as the owner, Dr. Aaron Jeziorski, and their staff members Desiree Garcia, Tia Price, and Liz, the previous insurance manager. The services promised were not rendered, leaving you in physical pain and causing emotional and mental distress. This situation has exacerbated your anxiety and depression disorders, impacting your overall health, self-confidence, and causing you to be self-conscious. The dental malpractice and negligence you've experienced have led to an inability to eat properly. You feel abandoned as a patient and are dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and compassion shown by the staff. Furthermore, your dental benefits have been exhausted with no improvement to show for it. This ordeal has left you feeling disrespected and treated horribly. I do not recommend them their services or as a dental provider caretaker for anyone I am appalled disgusted overwhelmed by the stress the pain unable to eat properly for months since complaining about my crowns and fillings falling out to much more complications from Dr Ryan Cullinan dental work I will be seeking legal action as well for the insurance fraud they have committed against me my insurance company my credit card payments cash payments to opening a sunbit loan!!!!!! Lexi, made sure I had all the necessary forms, helped me gather my dental records from other providers, and made sure I knew exactly what the service would cost before I left my home. I'm adding this to Yelp since my a Google review didn't post. I have mixed feelings. They were able to see us on short notice and got the job done...but the Dentist was very rude to my 7 year old who needed his tooth pulled. It took a lot of restraint for me to not lose it. Who tells a little kid (in an annoyed voice) who was already crying from the pain of the needle to "chill out!" I understand that they aren't primarily a pediatric practice, but damn. read more

my review is for office / billing I have to start out by saying the 2 dentist are fantastic. best I have been to in 50 years. unfortunately the billing system first needs update as they are unable to tell you what you will actually owe after insurance pays. they know what the contract price will be but not the 50/80 your insurance covers after that. they do not tell you this. so they are charging you upfront before insurance. once you get your EOB you will see you overpaid. because most of us are not really looking at the eob and just trust their accounting we don't know we have overpaid. I did in fact miss this upon my first appointment however after 2nd appointment my insurance company caught it when I calling to question something. when brought to their attention I was first met with a not so friendly response. I then stopped in and showed them everything I had and it was agreed there was an overcharge. now it has to be audited because they don't handle that in the office. time goes by with no call so I stop in again to learn yes the audit shows they owe me . how would I like that back. problem solved NOPE some weeks later I call and learn they don't do that from the office and she talked to accounting who says they only mail checks 1 day a month at the end of the month. it is now 19 days past the end of the month and still nothing. I was given a phone number to call and they said the individual offices do the refund and they would call them . well per usual I am getting no call back . I always have to call them and they just keep pushing it off to someone else. for me I gave blue dot dental the $ and blue dot dental should be on top of this. next stop... filing a complaint with bbb and my insurance company. WATCH YOUR EOB . what they should do is have you pay 50% up front because that is what it ends up to be. I'm a second away from calling this a fraud. what other explanation can there be for their not refunding patients $ after insurance has paid. they won't even acknowledge it until you put up a fuss. read more

Patient focused Dentist! I contacted Bluedot Dental at 7am one morning because a tooth was hurting so bad it woke me up. So I called their office first thing I'm the morning when I woke up. Great Staff/Front Desk: When I called their office, they picked up the phone. I explained I was in pain and the staff member understood my concern. She made me a priority and was able to schedule me to come in 2 hours later. Dental Assistant: I wish I knew her name but the dental assistant that assisted with my root canal was awesome, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to go out of her way to explain what a root canal is and how they were going to fix my tooth. Root Canal: During the root canal, the Dentist made sure to listen to me if I was uncomfortable or experiencing any pain. After they numbed me up, he asked if there was any discomfort or pain and gave me more numbing injections. He constantly checked in on me as a great doctor should. He was patient, took his time, and ensured everything was done correctly the first time. Cost: Since I'm self employed, I do not carry dental insurance because of the cost. I only see the dentist 1 time every 3 or 4 years so when I do visit the dental office, I'm a cash payer. I kindly asked the billing lady if there's anything they could possibly do to help with the cost and she did. I'm very grateful, blessed, and humbled by the staff here and the dentist. read more

I'm not sure what has gone on in the office but you can cut the tension with a knife. Not the same office we first came to three years ago. Dental hygienist are different faces every time & front desk just doesn't seem happy anymore I hate to say. It use to be our favorite dental office. read more

This place is GREAT! Short story, I was in an incredible amount of tooth pain on Saturday night, so bad that I got in my car and drove to the ER at 1am. I waited at the ER dealing with the worst pain I've ever experienced. 3 hours later of waiting in the lobby, I decided to leave and wait for Urgent care to open. I went there at 7am, another wasted trip. I get my wife involved and she calls her dentist at Bluedot dental. One hour later I'm sitting in Dr. J's chair having my teeth worked on!! All the pain went away!! They showed up on they're day off to help me, so thankful for these nice professional people. Unbelievable care!!!! I was in today for my usual cleaning. I had liked them so much in the past that I decided to bring my kids today as well. When my daughter needed a filling and had a full melt down about the numbing process Dr. Jacobsen was able to talk my child "off the cliff" and through the whole process with ease and grace. I also feel the quality of work my family and I receive is superior to many other dentists we have experienced. read more

Not a good experience with blue Dot dental when I walked into the office woman at the front desk didn't even say hello. I had to walk up to the front desk to let her know that I'm here for my appointment she barely even looked at me just glanced and said have a seat somebody will be right out to see you the staff was also very rude to me as wellthe girl that called me back really didn't say anything not even a smile on her face the doctor was nice I will never go back to this dentist officeI would not recommend this place or anybody else unless you want to be treated rudely read more

In response to your response. I want to start by letting you know that the $50 referral fee was never issued. After about two dirty looks and plenty of resistance, I gave up on that one. Liz attempted to get an additional $10 from me as I was walking out the door, and I told her to apply the ten dollars from the 50 referral fee. Then came another dirty look because she never did agree to follow through on that. Not only did I refer someone, but I requested the money to be taken off my bill at the time and I was told no, the referral had to come in for an appointment first. That's the only reason I didn't use it sooner. I am actually very sad that all of this transpired because I was happy being a patient there. Unfortunately, Liz really isn't very nice. She has a bad attitude. And there's no way around her. I really like everyone in that office and I'm sad that I can't come back. Say what you want, she's not nice to me and I'm not sure how she is with other customers, but she's rude to me. She's just snotty and that doesn't really go with the vibe of your office. I have eight brothers and sisters and a big mouth and I was telling everyone about you. I felt embarrassed and belittled when I was done talking to Liz and I'm guessing I'm not the only one. In four months I will graduate I will have dental insurance and money won't be an issue anymore but for now I don't need someone making me feel small. I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend BlueDot Dentistry in Gilbert, AZ. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jacobsen is AMAZING! I am a VERY complicated patient with years of dental surgeries, etc. My teeth have a way of shifting and causing jaw and teeth pain. I am not a candidate for visalign, but Dr. Jacobsen, at my last appointment, perform a procedure, that I never heard of, called Leaf Gauge Occlusal Equilibration, which is a term used in dentistry to describe the adjustment of the way your upper and lower teeth bite together. Altering the chewing surfaces of some or all of a person's teeth allows the jaw joints to be in the proper anatomical location when the teeth are fitting together. I walked out of the office that day feeling so much better and the pain in my teeth went away instantly. I was so happy and so grateful for his dental knowledge and experience.
