Not only were they suuuuper sweet and made me feel comfortable even though I had no idea what I needed. But when it came to the work they discovered not as much needed to be done so they took care of my baby for such a great price! She looks good. She sounds good. She feels good. For the record, guitar lessons here are from professionally world renowned musicians Stephen Nikleva and Jimmy Roy, who have both worked with international artists and each has a very unique and amazing guitar style. I asked the gentleman if it was definitely a C major harmonica, which he assuredly confirmed. Went home and immediately noticed one of the scales was incomplete, therefore making it unusable for me. The F note was missing for one of the 2 scales. That was by design, of course, but what was not - was the gentleman not letting me know before the purchase that it was not a full C major scale. I didn't see the accompanying flyer either, because I bought a new one, not the one I saw on the counter. Going back the next day he was unfriendly, and refused to offer a refund, because "i had already blown into the harmonica". That to me is just an excuse to refuse the refund, because modern day sanitization. would have easily solved that. It's not the price tag that bothers me, but having been deceived and having received poor customer service does. Wrote them an email, but never heard back. Avoid this shop unless you really need their services.

Bruce was very knowledgeable and very personable. He completed the work on both guitars quickly but with the utmost care and attention and even let me make a video of him providing info around future support since my husband wasn't able to pick up the second guitar himself. When I inquired about it they said they sent it back, never to be seen again. Rickenbacker replacement pickups can be ordered. Another time I bought a new Firebird and it had fret sprout and they said they would fix that. It seemed to take forever and when I finally got it there was a ding in the back that wasn't there before. I brought in a keyboard for repair and they lost the case for the soundboard that was installed in the keyboard. When you bring something in for repair, bring it in bare bones, no strap, strings accessories in the case or they might lose them.

For over 2 years I took all my gypsy jazz (GJ) and electric guitars to Nicole and she was…read moreexcellent. Then the quality of the work started dropping dramatically, having to take them back repeatedly for poor work. Some examples. She did a complete re & re of a fretboard on one of my GJ guitars as the truss rod had an issue. The work was great although costly. A few months later frets 7 - 11 on the high E string only were bottoming out. Not just buzzing. After waiting many weeks I was told it was "ready". I arrived and was told that the "only way" to fix this problem was to put shims under the bridge upon which she just gave me several shims without doing the job herself. If she had done that herself she would have found that that would not have fixed the problem at all. The fretboard needs a complete refret and sanding/leveling costing me another $600 on top of the over $1,000 I paid her. The last straw was when she worked on my 1964 modded Telecaster including a rewiring of the pick ups. After picking up the guitar I found that all the pick ups were hot no matter which one was selected. Upon picking it up again post fix, I was told that the issue was "my fault", was verbally abused and it was clear Nicole was not going to take any responsibility for her poor work. I then bit my tongue, took my guitar and upon leaving heard her yelling as I was walking out the door "I have a long list of customers who know what they are doing". Nicole, it's not my job to know how to fix guitars. That's your job.

She's busy, so you'll need to be patient, but drop off and pickup were exactly on agreed-upon…read moretimes. The setup on my Stratocaster was much better than I hoped it would be. Nicole is an artist. You'll see it right away when you step into her amazing workshop and start talking about your instrument. Nicole has tremendous respect for the instrument and the musician. I'm actually shocked at how much better my guitar is. She got the neck, the pickup height, the intonation, and the action dialed in perfectly. Everything about my guitar is better: tone, dynamics, playability. Maybe Nicole isn't the cheapest option, but for skill like hers... well some things are just worth paying for. I thought the price was fair and exactly as estimated.
