Paul & his team did a great job on our hillside property, patching up stucco, painting / back rolling the stucco, and painting the eaves / fascia / gutters / stair railings alongside a small deck stain. They were patient on color samples and even spoke to the owner of our preferred house that we had selected as our ideal paint color -- Paul showed up w the exact paint in hand the next day after his conversation. We didn't have the guts to knock, but he did. Paul & his team were easy to work with, reliable, flexible, good communicators and fair at every stage along the way, even knocking off scaffolding costs when they determined their insanely tall ladders could do the trick instead. I only have extremely positive feedback regarding Paul Benson and Company. The entire crew was first rate. I am not an easy customer. In fact, I'm an exacting perfectionist. Paul conducted himself patiently and professionally throughout as I continually changed my mind to the point of entirely repainting a couple rooms. He graciously brought and applied numerous sample colors for me way beyond the norm. Each and every detail and touch-up I requested was carried out without a single perceptible eye-roll. Paul came to our house and installed a welded flat roof. Within a few months we had a leak and it was frustrating that Pauls response was 'well, you must have a plumbing leak" this forced us to do lots of extra work to clear, find and explore to finally prove that the leak was related to his roof work. When he finally did come up and we showed him the problem, to his credit, he did fix the issue. However, he absolutely refused to cover any damages to our house that resulted from his link. We've tried multiple emails but he claims that he is in bankruptcy at this point and can't pay. At this point, I would strongly recommend you stay away from this business. Not only for their inability to stand by their work but by the simple fact that they are in bankruptcy at this point. read more

If you are an HOA/Property Manager. Don't be fulled by the slight name change away from Blue Turtle Roofing. Rheem Terrace in Moraga is just one of the properties this company did a horrible job on. They tore the roof off, didn't cover the roof with tarps and then it rained. The next several months dealing with them and their insurance company for that 200K damages was a nightmare. Last year we undertook a painting project at the 3-story unit of buildings that we own. We had several HOA meetings and decided to have the exterior trim of the building painted. The existing paint was dull and old looking, so we wanted to spruce it up a bit. My condo co-owner had very specific colors that would be required. This is building is a Victorian structure in San Francisco and needed very urgent wood rot remediation (we knew of some instances that would need to be corrected, but Paul made us well versed at what we were seeing after we opened up some of the trim -- I am so glad we got this fixed after a year of rains!!). This was an above average complexity of paint job. Paul was an expert at working with a very demanding project director (my co-owner next door). Paul was responsive in changing his approach as our needs changed. His ideas on color were very stylish and unique. His views complimented ours and the final project was genius. Over the course of a few weeks, we made several changes and the product was amazing!! The crew worked diligently and were very organized. They applied a couple coats of primer that has made the building last and look very fresh for the year after we completed the paint job. They did not leave messes anywhere and no paint was spilled or sloppily applied. These guys were friendly and made it easy to come and go while they were working. They cleaned up after themselves every day and accommodated several requests of the tenants in the building. I was working in Omaha and San Ramon at the time and never once did I feel out of control. This is a testament to Paul because this was a project I had been dreading. Needless to say, this bunch was so easy to work with, always on time and we had no problems working with each other. I highly recommend these guys for the job! The team was great. The product was the talk of the area!!! And we are 100% satisfied. Very good value for money. Hire them, if you can get them! Paul Benson painted my house and did an amazing job! After the worst paint job a few years ago had faded and peeled Paul and his team came in and not only painted my house but water-proofed it too. My house was in bad shape and now it looks brand new again. He was so patient with me while I picked just the right color and he even came back to do some touch ups.
