After a complete house painting, wood garage door staining and varnishing, and a metal gate stripping and painting -- a two-week project was just finished, and I cannot begin to say how satisfied and happy we are. From the beginning meeting with project manager Robbie and communications with project coordinator Mariah, to most of all our crew, Moises and Abner, whose attention to detail and quality of finish could not have been better -- every aspect exceeded expectations. Not only did they paint, but they also repaired necessary areas, were considerate of our property, and stayed well organized every day (this including non-cooperative Sausalito weather). This was the best experience, so much so that I can recommend this well-organized company without hesitation, and certainly appreciate their competitive pricing. GREAT! In Sausalito. read more

I recently hired McCarthy for a full exterior home paint job, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everyone at McCarthy was friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Our painters, William and Celestino, were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely detailed, professional, and meticulous in their work. They took the time to prep everything correctly, answered all my questions, and treated my home with care the entire time. The results came out great--clean lines, smooth finish, and a fresh look that completely transformed the exterior of our house. I would highly recommend McCarthy to anyone looking for a high-quality paint job, especially if you value craftsmanship and great communication. These guys truly know what they're doing! read more

Exterior of house & garage was painted along with some dry rot repair around the windows. Very happy with results. Good communications with office staff and the painting crew (Nelson and Edulfo) were excellent at their job, I appreciated how polite and respectful of my property they were. When the job was complete, they did a first rate job of cleaning up and moving plants & outdoor furniture back. Can highly recommend. read more

My wife and I have been selling her home of 36 years over the past month, and some of the final stages of moving out has been to power wash and stain a lot of redwood stairs and decking that we have installed over the years. We hired McCarthy Painting Company to solve those problems for us and they sent over their team, Jose and Bryan, to do all the work. We couldn't be more grateful. These two gentlemen were the most professional of all the many people that have been associated with this very stressful and confusing process. We can't thank McCarthy Painting Company, and by extension Jose and Bryan enough for their great work. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. read more

What an absolute pleasure it was to have engaged and worked with McCarthy Painting to, first, replace the dry rotted window trim and portico of our house and, then, paint its exterior, and stain our fences! They did such a thorough, beautiful, and clean job at a competitive price. Project Coordinator Mariah, Project Manager Robbie, and Crew Nelson & Arnulfo were all so professional and friendly. A few of my neighbors are already reaching out to McCarthy Painting to get bids to have their homes painted. read more

McCarthy is a really great team to work with all around. Greg gave me different ideas as we talked through the job, outlining options & costs & trade offs. Once we settled on the job, the team was proactive in getting it scheduled. Them my team, William & Eric, came and were absolutely the best! They never bothered me, were professional & clean, had lots of input when I asked questions, and were so patient with me! Even when we tried like 5 paints out before settling on the final one. They were such a delight to have at my home I was almost sad when they finished. And the quality is top level- they really spent time on every detail. My home has been transformed thanks to them! They did my full exterior, including all the eves, porch & front door. Plus stained my walkways and more. Totally recommend this local crew!! read more

I can't speak for their abilities as painters, because they didn't do any work for me. I do give them a good rating on their customer service. I went with another vendor when they didn't respond to my request for a quote. As it turns out, their systems were down. I give them credit to reaching out after to let me know. read more

... Gricelda and Miguel just finished painting the exterior of our house. I cannot imagine a better job or more delightful people to be around. 11/18/2022 The painting team of Alberto and Edward did a great job on our houseboat! This was not an easy job since it included painting the exterior from a small boat in some locations. The price was very fair, the quality excellent, and the painters never complained about challenging areas. Overall, a very "can do" attitude. I definitely would use them again. As an aside, I thought their proposal/contract was very straightforward and one of the few that I've seen in use that actually comports with State law regarding upfront deposits and payment schedules. They did what they said they would do for the price quoted, and didn't look for "extras" to bill. BTW, I'm writing as a licensed architect who has seen many painters on my projects over the past 40 years. read more

Miguel and Gricelda were excellent. Extremely professional, fast, and did a great job. I have steel frame deck rails that were rusting and needed to be sanded down and then primed/painted. Also, thanks to Robbie for his quick and reasonable quote and supervision of the work. Will definitely use them again! read more

Quality work! Jorge and Edwin just finished painting our exterior in Corte Madera and I cannot say enough great things about them as the painters as well as dealing with McCarthy overall. Immediate response from both Mariah and Robbie overseeing the job. Jorge and Edwin worked their butts off and did more than we even expected in repairs and paint, doing every little tiny thing to make sure it was all done right. Above and beyond. And they cleaned up - completely - every single day of the 5 days they were here. Rain hindered the progress and McCarthy was on it to reschedule and make sure the work was done, completed, to every ones specifications. If you're going to have your house painted - hire McCarthy Painting. You will not be disappointed. read more

The McCarthy teams that we used for our decks were wonderful. This was a bear of a project given the amount of decking we have and all of it was done so well by both the carpentry team and the finishing team.
