Amazing! Juan was prompt in responding and giving me an estimate. His pricing was fair and I liked him, he seemed honest and sincere. I accepted his offer and was glad I did. He explained everything that would be done in detail and had great recommendations. He did an excellent job, was efficient and tidy. I highly recommend him! read more

Amazing painters! They painted two bedrooms inside our home and did an outstanding job. They were on time, professional, and the quality of the work was excellent. The value was incredible, and they were also very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend. We will absolutely be using them again when we repaint the rest of the interior and eventually the exterior as well. read more

Juan and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of my home. I ultimately chose his company because it was the most competitive bid. His work was detail oriented and he completed ahead of schedule. I highly recommend him. read more

Excellent experience! Small job (one day) done with attention to detail and superior quality! Highly recommend!!!!

Juan and his team did an amazing job. We had them paint two bathrooms and a bedroom. Juan was very helpful in matching paint colors to samples off the web. His staff was very conscientious about taking care of our space. They put tarps down and made sure everything that had to be left was covered. We were especially impressed by the attention they paid to doing their preparation. Our walls looked better than new. Juan made sure we were happy with everything before submitting his bill. Pricing seems to be on par with other professional painters. We will be sending more work his way. read more

I am so happy with the exterior paint job. Juan Rios and his team, Eric and Marvin spent their time meticulously. painting my home and when it was done, I stood back at street level and smiled at the crisp new look of my home. Additionally, Rios's painting beat the quotes of all the other painting companies by thousands of dollars making it a worthwhile experience. The team arrived every day on time at 8 AM and finished after 5 o'clock. They were very tidy, polite and professional. Juan makes you feel relaxed, and when they are done, you will feel happy knowing you made a perfect choice. read more

As usual, Juan's team did a beautiful job. They patched holes and paid such attention to detail. Highly recommend them!!!

Fantastic job! Can't recommend them enough! On time, professional, reasonable price, flawless paint job.

Rios painting is a legit company. My wife has used them before but I had never met Juan or his guys. He did great job taping, mudding, and painting our house. We have high 28ft ceilings and it really presented a problem but Rios painting was able to protect our floors from the heavy scaffolding and did a wonderful job getting to the dry wall seams to repair. They were also able to change out 20 light bulbs for us that were 28ft up...used LED bulbs so hopefully I won't have to change them for another 10 years. Reasonably priced. We had bids from other painters that were $2000+ plus more and that didn't even include using scaffolding. I would highly recommend Juan and his painting company...he goes out of his way to make sure things are done correctly and if not he will correct them for you at no charge. read more

Juan and his team are just great at what they do! And they give excellent advice on colors. They know quality and it shows! When I was searching for what company to go with for painting the exterior of my house, I found that his baseline technique was one that some companies charge an upgrading fee for. And his quote was right in line with most of the other quotes I got, very fair and honest! Would highly recommend them! read more

This is the fourth paint job we have done with Rios Painting, and I could not recommend them more. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They did our complete exterior and about 90% of our interior, and they were excellent. They did a great job with the paint work and their prices were super competitive. They were clean, neat, quiet and easy to have around onsite. Juan is a great owner, and his crew was super professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Juan and his team painted our kitchen cabinets and stained our newly constructed fence. He quoted us a great price and did a fantastic job. I was really impressed with the cabinet's finish quality. He went above and beyond coming back twice after the painting was completed to correct problems with the doors that were problems before his crew painted the doors. I can't say enough good things about him and his crew. read more

Rios Painting just finished painting a good portion of our house. It was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor doing work in my home. Juan Rios' professionalism was clear from the beginning when he came to our home for the estimate. When he arrived at our home to begin the job, I told him I wanted to replace the return air grille which had become rusty after decades of service. He told me that they would eliminate the rust and paint it so that it would look brand new. The grille looked so bad that it was hard to believe that could be possible. But Juan was right. The grille looks new after his team's good work. Next, I told Juan that I wanted to replace the stairway handrail which was an outdated wood brown from 1964. He acknowledged that the rail was still in good shape and that they could prime the rail and metal bracket that attached it to the wall and paint it white to match the trim. Juan turned an eyesore into a work of art. Juan strives for perfection. It's clear that he cares about his work and your home. He goes beyond the call of duty to ensure your satisfaction and his team follow his lead. Our whole project was finished quickly and cleanly. The quality of the work is impeccable. We are extremely satisfied and will definitely be calling on Rios Painting again. read more

Rios Painting was absolutely fantastic! We needed quick help with full interior painting before we moved into our new home, and Juan was by far the most responsive and professional painter we spoke to. His team did an amazing job completing the work on time, and they did an exceptional job - they truly made the home sparkle. Thank you, Juan and team! read more

Juan and his team did such a fabulous job painting the exterior of our house! From start to finish and everything in between! To start, Juan immediately responded to my request for a quote shortly after I posted the request, the same day. He came by a couple of days later to look at my house and submitted me a quote a few days after that. Compare that two 2 other companies (also highly rated on Yelp), which took several days for them to even respond to my request, and in one case a few weeks to finally book, then a few weeks later to give me the final quote! Juan's bid came in on the lowest end, which sealed my decision to go with him. Juan and team were incredibly professional and it was evident they took pride in their work. They had very good attention to the details. We have a lot of areas of rotten wood, which they filled / sealed. They were flexible with mid-stream adjustment to what I originally asked them to do. They even pressure washed all of our decks - I have never seen them so clean! They were so good, I had them come back a few months later to stain the decks. Again a fabulous job! Both in the preparation work as well as the staining. Thank you so much for the wonderful job! I am telling all my neighbors about you guys and I hope this review also helps!! read more

We had Rios Painting paint most of our home interior in 2018. We had them come back recently to finish off one downstairs room. They were just as wonderful now as they were then! Prompt, positive, neat, and did the best job. We highly recommend them, as they aim to please. read more

Juan and his team did an amazing job on my little apartment in Oakland ; not only were they the low bid but their workmanship and professionalism was outstanding as well. Very responsive and was able to fit my job in within the week and finished right on schedule. Went above and beyond to make to job look great, patched little holes, dissambled / reassembled all of our shelving and such to protect them from the paint, and left our place cleaner than they found it. These will be my go to paint guys. read more

Rios painting did an incredible job with our home. We have an older home with a lot of character- Juan and his team went above and beyond to make the place look like new. They even did some extra maintenance work like nailing down loose boards. They were thorough, thoughtful and kind (even put up with our barking dog!) We can't wait to use their team again! read more

Juan Rios is great to work with and his crew does excellent work. We were especially impressed by the level of prep work they did. For example, we had meant to replace our previously shabby-looking garage door but didn't get around to it; they resuscitated it and it's no longer an eyesore. Juan is a great guy, responsive and understanding of my concerns. We appreciated the porta-potty at the curb and the little extras, like painting all of the roof stacks and vents. The crew was careful to do only minimal harm to our plantings. They brought their own microwave for their lunch! Nice guys! Highly recommend! read more

Painting experience was perfect. Great dealing with COVID19 precautions. Even showed up with own portable toilet. The whole team was prompt. I cannot say enough about the experience. If you consider painting at least get a quote from Juan. You may decide to go with another team, but if you don't ask you'll miss out. We did do exterior. When we get to the interior we'll contact Juan as well. read more

Juan was great to work with. His team was very professional, did a great job, and they were even the most affordable quote we received. I can't recommend him enough. read more

We feel so fortunate to have found Juan and his team with availability to paint our nursery and toddler's rooms as well as complete badly needed touch-ups on short notice. Although I was upfront that I had a short window of availability before my due date, Juan did not try to take advantage of the situation and provided a very reasonable quote (unlike another provider whose quote was more than double!!) I also greatly appreciated how, during the estimate, he took the time to explain to me the painting techniques to do the touch-ups ourselves if we opted to go that route. I knew at that point that Juan and his team could be trusted to do a stellar job. And they did not let us down! The girls' bedrooms and touch-ups turned out great, and the team was pleasant to have in our house all day, communicated with us throughout the project, finished early, and cleaned up afterwards. We will definitely be booking Rios Painting again for future jobs! read more

I have used Juan Rios and his team for multiple jobs throughout my house, both interior and exterior. Each time, I was thoroughly impressed by the work. They are professional, on-time (which is huge!), efficient and friendly. Also, their prices are very reasonable. Juan personally comes and checks out the job before and after it's finished, which I find to be a great touch that exceeds expectations. I would 10/10 recommend this company to anyone. read more

We have been working on a major remodel for 6 months and Juan and his crew have been the most reliable, competent, skilled and enthusiastic of all the subs we have worked with. When someone takes immense pride in what they do, it shows in the result. We have a very tricky house with lots of angels, textured wood wall and high ceilings. Juan is extremely knowledgable in his trade which makes working with him really easy. Juan and his crew worked diligently to complete their job on time and on budget. We have a few more months of construction and then I will hire him again to complete the rest of the house. read more

I painted the exterior of my house in Corte Madera 1 year ago, and I was so satisfied with their excellent work and professional attitude that I called them again to have my complete interior painted. Juan Rios and his crew did a fantastic job on my house for a fair price. It wasn't the lowest estimate I got, but I took a friend's recommendation and went with Rios Painting. They came in on-budget and my house looks fantastic. The crew was polite and accommodating, working around rain delays in order to get the job done before any major storms hit. Juan is also just a really nice guy, which does not go without saying in Mill Valley. I'd hire Rios again for sure. read more

Juan and his wife did a beautiful job on my daughter's room. Her room is one of the photos featured below...the aqua room. My daughter is SO HAPPY with her "new" room, even though we just painted! I was first introduced to Juan about 6 years ago when he worked with another painter I had hired. He did an amazing job painting some rooms in our new home and so I was so pleased when he started his own painting business. He just finished painting our guest bedroom and it's another beautiful job! I highly recommend Juan. He is so pleasant to have around, very reasonable rates, and he shows up when he says he is going to! I am already thinking about other rooms in our home that need refreshing! read more

Beautiful interior painting. Very thorough, house looks new. Andres, onsite supervisor, was incredible. He made sure we were happy with every detail and the end result. He accommodated our request to paint areas not in original contract. Very reliable, on time, neat, great clean up at end of each day and when job finished. Well worth the money. Juan, the owner, sets the standard, so the whole crew was amazing. Will use them again when we paint the exterior. Carol H San Rafael read more

Rios Painter did an excellent job. The made the exterior of out 80 year home come to life. Working during the winter it was difficult but daily the crew arrived and were always mindful of our needs.
