I had the pleasure of working with Erick from E Custom Design on my new salon studio, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. He took the time to thoroughly guide me through the process and helped bring my vision to life by carefully selecting colors and finishes that perfectly complemented the aesthetic I wanted for my space. His craftsmanship and dedication truly transformed my studio into a beautiful, elevated environment that feels both luxurious and inviting. In addition, Erick also helped repaint my previous salon studio back to its original colors in a very quick and timely manner, which allowed me to receive my full deposit back without any issues. His reliability, efficiency, and quality of work made the entire transition seamless and stress-free. I was so impressed with the final results and overall experience that I decided to hire him again for my home project as well. -P.aesthetics read more

A great honest and reliable painting company. I received 3 quotes and Erick's was the lowest. They painted the outside of our house and our ADU two weeks ago, and were so impressed with Erick and his assistant Jessica, and especially Raul, head of the painting crew, that we had them paint the inside of our house. We had lots of framed art and photos on the walls which I really didn't want to put up again. Erick and Jessica said, no problem. Raul took a video and used that to put the stuff back on the wall. Throughout both jobs both Erick and Jessica came by frequently to check on things and make sure we were happy. Jessica was especially helpful with choosing the paint colors. They have a special relationship with Sherwin Williams, and once we narrowed down our choices, the SW rep Santiago came by to consult, then used AI to show the outside of our home with those colors. Santiago got us paint samples to apply, and Jessica ca,e by to put it up. A terrific company. After they left, we found a window that wouldn't open. We called Erick, and Raul came by the same day to fix it. Considerate, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. I heartily recommend them! read more

We needed someone who could handle a few tricky home updates, and Erick at E Custom Designs Inc. delivered beyond expectations. We were replacing two 20-year-old sliding doors that were stuck, plus remodeling a fireplace--but not just any remodel. We wanted a modern design without losing our grandfathered-in wood-burning functionality, which is extremely important to us. With the sliding doors, Erick faced a real challenge. Our house sits on a slope and had shifted over time, which meant installing the new doors required redoing the decking on one side and leveling out the concrete on the other--issues we hadn't even considered. But Erick's eye for precision and commitment to quality made it all come together beautifully. As for the fireplace, I had a very specific vision: remove the outdated cut-out to create more living space, preserve the wood-burning feature, and incorporate a fresh design using limewash paint. The first color we picked ended up being completely off. Erick was so understanding and told us, "Pick the right color, and when you're ready, we'll make it happen." Even though this set his schedule back (and I know how tight those are in his line of work), he never pressured us to rush. Once I finally landed on the right shade, his team was back the very next day to finish it quickly and flawlessly. His attention to detail, beautiful custom carpentry, and collaborative design approach were exactly what we needed. Not to mention--when our water heater broke, my husband called him, and Erick had someone out the very next day. He genuinely cared and said, "I get it--cold showers and little kids don't mix." Truly A+ service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend Erick and E Custom Designs Inc.--you won't regret working with them. PS Photos to come read more

We had a very specific vision and custom specifications for two rooms -- including limewashed ceilings and crown moldings -- and the team executed everything exactly how we wanted. They were incredibly detail-oriented, collaborative, and thoughtful throughout the process, while still moving quickly and efficiently. They completed both rooms within a week, and the final result feels truly custom and high-end. We'll share comparison photos of the original vision and the final executed result once the rest of the furniture comes in, but we're already beyond impressed with the transformation. Highly recommend. read more

We needed our very large, redwood back deck cleaned up and re-stained and Erick's team truly went above and beyond. They came and on day one cleaned the whole deck while also being careful to protect the redwood. Then they HAND SANDED all the wood down so as to not damage the quality of the wood we have, which also only took one day. Then they helped us pick a PERFECT stain and it was all done within 3 days! We are sooooo happy we went with Erick and his team's work is worth every single penny we paid. We would hire them for any paint job in the future, the guys were all friendly and professional and Erick and Jessica were super communicative and thorough. read more

We hired E Custom Design to paint the entire interior of our home, and Erick and his team were outstanding from start to finish. Their pricing was fair and competitive, and the quality of their work exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail really showed in the final result -- the house looks brand new. We were away for a week during the project, and they proved to be completely trustworthy and extremely communicative throughout. Erick was the first painter to respond, the quickest to get started, and consistently followed up with updates. That level of professionalism made the whole process easy. We're already planning to use them again for the exterior, and we'd confidently recommend them to friends and family. read more

Beyond grateful for the incredible job Erick and his team did painting the interior of our home. We needed the job done fairly quickly and they were able to complete the job within our timeframe. From the consultation straight through to the walk through/handing back our keys, the team was professional, prompt and efficient. They were also happy to negotiate on price. We plan to work with them again, this time power washing the exterior areas of our home. Erick was extremely personable and clearly cares about his customers. 100% would recommend this business if you need your home painted! read more

Erick and his guys were absolutely terrific. He was very careful and detailed in assessing what the condition of the house was, looking carefully for any rot and chipping paint. The work was very clean and nicely done. They spent a lot of time masking so that there was no over painting. They did our entire exterior and portion of the interior. I would highly recommend them,. They also were very kind in following up with us when we called to tell them that we felt that one of the team had used a wire brush on our concrete patio that left lighter areas. He sent his guys over to do a full power wash, the entire patio, which is fairly large, even though they didn't have to do the whole thing. And it looks fantastic. Definitely have them been on your project. read more

I have only excellent things to say about Erick and his team. They painted the entire exterior of my house, including trim. They were prompt, efficient, and professional. Their work was impeccable. They matched my lowest bid and then when I asked him to do an additional bit of trim, he added on an extra window trim, free of charge. When we did a walkthrough, he made sure that I was completely happy with the outcome. My house looks amazing. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Erick and his team are incredible. They painted the outside of our home last month, and it has never looked this fantastic; we hear compliments from others often. Erick helped us to find our preferred shade of color and the best kind of paint for the job. They took care of everything (including moving and returning external furniture and plants), and the clean-up was meticulous. They were timely and punctual. read more

I hired E Custom Design because I saw the quality of their work on two of my neighbors' homes. They did a fantastic job. Their painters are experienced and careful. The paint is even, and the trim looks sharp. They are conscientious about cleaning up their drop cloths and organizing the materials left on site. Erick, the owner, is very responsive and wants to make sure you are happy with the paint job on your house. I had a change order- the first color I chose didn't look right, and Erick's crew had to re-paint the house because I chose a second color to apply. I was stressed out about it, but they made it easy on me and re-painted the house with the second color. I'm very pleased with the result. I think their fee was reasonable, and I will hire them again when my house needs to be repainted. read more

E Custom Design did a wonderful job on our interior repaint, which was complicated by the fact that we were actively using the house during the work. It was also complicated by the fact that we had a total of 12 color/sheen combinations throughout the house. They provided a bid that was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, which is exactly what we were looking for. They did a lot of work for what they charged. One thing I appreciated was the attention to detail on the trim. You can always deduce the quality of a painter by how they do the edges. These guys took their time and produced clean lines. read more

E Custom Painting just finished painting our brand-new contemporary home in Marin, and the result is nothing short of spectacular. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, Erik and his crew were the definition of professionalism. They helped us refine an incredibly complex color palette (Farrow & Ball, Porte Cochère, custom-mixed lime wash accents, and high-gloss lacquer on all the steel doors and windows) and executed every detail flawlessly. The lines are razor-sharp, the finishes are flawless, and the spray work on our 25-foot cedar ceilings looks like it came out of a magazine. What impressed us most was their respect for a high-end construction site: floors protected daily, zero paint smells (they used an air scrubber the entire time), and the house was left spotless every single afternoon. They even color-matched and touched up a few minor drywall imperfections the GC had missed--at no extra charge. For a multimillion-dollar property you only get one shot at getting the paint perfect. E Custom didn't just meet our expectations; they blew them away. Highest possible recommendation--if you're building or remodeling anything significant in the Bay Area, do yourself a favor and hire these guys before their calendar fills up for the next two years. read more

Hi I contacted Erick to have the whole exterior of my house repainted. Simply, Erick and his team are amazing. From the start, Erick was responsive and answered all my questions. During the painting process, Erick's team was amazing and very detailed. They always made sure I was happy with the paint and made sure to confirm my wishes as to what colors to use on the various trims, downspouts, door and the body of the house. Erick was also great in checking in throughout the week to make sure I was happy and answer any further questions I had. I'm so happy with the results. Two of my neighbors have already asked me for Erick's info as they are now looking to paint their houses. Nothing better than a fresh coat of paint to spruce up a house. read more

Eric and his crew were very professional from start to finish. Very pleased with the job. Another contractor bid the job for a little bit cheaper, but we chose Eric's bid because he carefully explained the scope of the work and his bid contained everything that he would do. The other contractor's did not. Eric also suggested painting the ceiling of the front porch to brighten the area. I'm so glad he did, because it looks fantastic as does the entire house. Without a question I would recommend E custom Painting and use them for future work. I would give them 20 stars if I could. read more

I couldn't speak more highly of my experience with E Custom. My husband and I hired the team to paint our kitchen--walls, trim, cabinets and all--and they did an absolutely spectacular job turning my bold vision into a reality. Not only that, but they did it incredibly efficiently without sacrificing even a modicum of quality. Seriously, the timeline was wild in the best of ways; they came and gave us a quote on Thursday, started the process on Friday and by Monday night we had a completely transformed kitchen. I'm honestly speechless, it was all so seamless and the work was done so well at a reasonable price. 11/10, I will no doubt be using them again. read more

Erick and his team did a fantastic job painting nearly the entire interior of our 2-story home. During the initial job estimate process, Erick was very responsive to my questions, responding quickly either through email or text. He was very patient as we went through several paint samples before selecting the colors. The painters were very prompt each day, well organized, and cleaned up at the end of each day so we could navigate through the sections of the house being painted. They were quick to address any requests we made or fix small areas that needed "touchup". We are thrilled with the finished results. Thank you very much Erick and Team for a job well done! read more

We hired Erick and E Custom for an interior painting job in an old house undergoing a renovation. They did a great job and worked around a number of hurdles we put in front of them, I would recommend them and use them again. Special shout out to Santos, one of the painters on the crew who was very professional and accommodating. Some highlights: - Erick was willing to take our special paint requests like no VOC paints and primers and a late request for rolling some surfaces without any issue or extra charges - Our timelines were constantly moving around due to issues with other contractors on the job (drywall finish needing another pass etc) which they graciously worked around - Sharing the work space with other contractors (carpenters, flooring, electricians) which they did very professionally and courteously. - Some of the areas they painted ended up getting some dust or dings from workers on other crews (a carpenter bumping the ceiling with a board, movers dragging something across a wall ...) . E Custom touched these areas up and in some cases threw on another coat for us without haggling read more

Wow. Just Wow! E Custom Design is amazing. I needed help caulking and painting my rather poorly installed baseboards. Erick's team made them look so custom! I grew up in the trades with my family and know great work when I see it. They arrived 8am and the job was completed by 4pm. Erick is a true professional and his team are such lovely young gentlemen. I interviewed many painting companies before choosing E Custom. In addition to needing fabulous attention to detail, I really needed good, positive energy. I am a widow and live alone. I felt supported and protected- as if Eric and his crew were like extended family. As long as I am in the Sonoma area, I will only use E Custom going forward. Thank you, Erick and team for taking such great care of me and my home! I wish there were an option for 10 stars. read more

I chose Erick for the job because when he came out to give me an estimate he seemed to care more then the other guys, the fact that his was the low bid was a bonus. Erick and his fabulous crew just finished painting the exterior of our home. I was dreading this project, but it was something we needed to do before the winter. Erick made the process a breeze. We had Eric come out for one of our clients to give a quote after we got done doing foundation leveling. The drywall was completely cracked and the homeowners were looking to paint cabinetry as well as have a smoother wall texture throughout their home. After having multiple contractors come out Eric came in with the best price. The amount of detail and effort that is put in to their profession is amazing. Just had a very positive experience with E Custom Painting for our 2-story garage and studio. We needed to have the work done around our renter and the crew members were very considerate, clean, and able to get the work done in the allotted time. Erick's staff are very proficient and their work on a very tall structure is spot on. In addition, I found Erick a pleasure to work and problem solve with. He was the first to respond out of 7 estimates and price was in the mid-range....quite certain that the work done was in the top range. Erick and his team did an AMAZING job painting the interior of our home! We live in and old Edwardian that required a lot of detailed work e.g. crown mouldings, french doors with glass, and curved ceilings that had numerous cracks. Our last paint job was over 10 years ago and had shown a lot of wear because of life with kids and a dog. We came home to what felt like a brand new space! The paint was applied evenly, the edges were sharp, and the cracks were all fixed. Erick was wonderful throughout the whole process. He came early each time for the prep mtgs + gave great advice on colors, his team was on site early when the project started, he was done on time as promised, and it was clean! Could not ask for a better company to work with. Highly recommend and we now know who to work with on any future projects! read more
