We have worked with Daniel and his team on three separate projects. He worked diligently to deliver a garage remodel and two bathroom remodels on time. He has solid relationships with his subcontractors which enable him to execute on a variety of different types of work for his clients. Daniel flexed with us when surprises/changes popped up during the project, and stayed in close communication with us the whole time. We definitely recommend working with Daniel!

    Kitchen Remodel

Daniel and his team were so skilled and fast! They put in the extra hours to get the job done, and finished the whole project in 3 weeks! Most other contractors we spoke with said 4-6 weeks. Can't wait to use Daniel and his on future house renovations.

Very fast and quality work. Installed this in a few hours.

Okay I hesitate to write this review as I may never see him again. He is FANTASTIC and FAST. Knows his work and has attention to detail. Daniel is a true professional with excellent communication skills as well as a quality craftsman. He knows his stuff. He even talked me out of something expensive ( fencing)! I like to work with specific people such as Daniel as I trust him and see he can get the job done.Highly recommend! 5 PLUS STARS!

This is my second post for Daniel. After doing much of our interior, I asked him to come back and replace two gates and some areas of my fence. Daniel did a great job, replaced two entire sections (including gates) and reinforced a large part of our back fence with new 4x4 posts. His team worked quick and had the job done in a few days I'll continue to hire Daniel and his crew for future projects.

The demo day removed 3 dump trucks of debris and revealed that all the wood under the tile was rotted. Daniel enlarged the small window

This is our 3rd project that Daniel Lugo & crew has tackled for us. Exceptional quality craftsmanship in every case. We love dealing with Daniel because he takes my sketches, plans, special details and makes them a reality. He's very collaborative and explains why some things could be made even better. Daniel let me be very involved in picking tile, finishes, custom cabinets, lighting and even let me participate in hand texture coating the walls with a Santa Fe look. He loves what he does and invites a challenge. He's respectful, communicates well, always shows up to work and in this case, his crew worked very long hours in order to complete the bathroom in record time so my disabled mother could return home as fast as possible. This project tripled in scope once the demo revealed severe wood rot behind the walls, almost no insullation, sub-standard plumbing, joists, electrical and other peculiar issues. He actually had to remove the exterior wall to our bathroom and rebuild the entire wood structure; top, bottom and sides! He was brilliant and transformed this mess into a safe, top quality and the most beautiful, spa like, ADA bathroom we've ever seen. It has so many high end features and excellent craftsmanship. After all the hidden structure was rebuilt, Daniel built heated floors, a larger window, higher ceiling, a flat floor, installed dimmable LED light band around the custom medicine mirror chests, (these are sexy medicine chests with so much 14 feet of shelf space in each one!). The other brilliant detail was a mini shelf made of exotic wood to hold a cell phone in the toilet area. The tile work was superb. I couldn't find a 6x9 shower wall tile so they cut each one from the matching 48" long floor tile. The shower stall was tripled in size and the tile work was brilliantly, mathematically calculated. The shower stall was intended to have glass doors, but with a wheelchair mom + aide needing to fit in there, glass doors needed to be postponed and Daniel created a floating shower curtain rod for a flexible curtain. Every member of his team pays attention to detail and does quality work. Daniel helped keep costs low by using his favorite suppliers for quartz and the best quality wood. He treats his team of workers very good which means a lot to us. They worked tirelessly through a heat wave with good humor. Daniel is smart, experienced, reliable and works with an excellent plumber and electrician. His crew are smart, strong, hard working guys who follow Daniel's orders. They were kind & respectful and cleaned up the area every night before leaving. Everything about Daniel and his crew was excellent & skilled. We so enjoyed working with them all. I would recommend them for any home renovation.

This is our third project with Daniel and they did a great job again. The craftsmanship and commitment to detail is top notch and it was completed within our expected timeline. We're happy to work with Daniel and recommend him to all our friends.

    Before, toilet moved.

We finished our project with Daniel and his team in November 2022. They did a terrific job and finished this full bathroom renovation quickly (around 6 weeks). His team put in full days and maximized their time to finish the work efficiently. His team was very hardworking, friendly, and skilled. Their work included full demolition, updated plumbing, electrical, lighting, ceiling fan, wall and tile work, pocket door installation, painting, and fixture install. We would definitely recommend Daniel and his team for any home renovation projects!

Daniel and his team have been great to work with on a variety of projects. The quality of work is excellent, pricing reasonable, and most importantly, they are reliable. We have used them for a range of services including: replacing dry rot, re-grouting and sealing our tile deck, building a new side fence, painting our main fence, as well as repainting cabinetry. For two of the jobs, I noticed a few touch-ups that were needed, and they promptly sent someone back over to fix - and after we had paid. I'm sure I'll be using Daniel and team on other projects in the years to come. Highly recommended.

Working with Daniel and his team was great. He came by for a quote the day after I reached out to him. The quality of his team's work was very well done and Daniel was a reliable partner. They helped us with a variety of projects including: - Tiled our entire kitchen, from counter-top to ceiling (this included adjusting our window frame so the tiling looked better) - Installed floating shelves - Demoed a closet and installed new adjustable shelves - Flooring installation for the kitchen and part of the family room - Installed all our appliances including a new flume for our fan over the range - Removing an outside door and framing the wall - Stucco and paint for the newly framed wall - Closed off a heating vent and installed drywall We are very happy with the look of our new kitchen and flooring!

Daniel and his team did a bunch of work in my home and were fantastic! I found him on Yelp and he was quick to respond. Within a few days he was able to come evaluate the project and provided a quote. The work they did was great! Daniel is thoughtful about his approach, pays attention to the details, communicates his approach clearly, and is up-front when inevitable construction surprises come up (plus he trouble shoots them!). He remodeled my quirky apartment space that has lots of weird platforms due to foundation, which required workarounds. The highlights of his work included: installing a new bathroom including tile, installing new vinyl floors, building a new laundry room addition, and creating a bed platform to even out some of the weird smaller platforms. The photos show some before and afters of these spaces. I highly recommend Daniel and his crew -- you won't regret it!

Daniel helped us replace our large deck and a bathroom remodel. He is very professional, responsive and knowledgeable. His team works very hard to finish projects in a timely manner. We have used him several times now and I would highly recommend using him.

Daniel and his crew poured 21 of these 7'x3' concrete stepping pads and did a great job on the finish and tooled joints

Daniel and Jose did a great job on a large concrete project in my backyard. Daniel clearly has a lot of experience and was able to provide useful information to guide along the project and also help with design decisions. We are extremely happy with how the final product turned out and would definitely recommend Daniel!

Daniel Lugo and team are incredible. I've had him do two projects for us and couldn't be happier with the results. The first project was a banquet bench seat and his attention to craft was incredible. The second project was much more involved. He put in a new range for me which we required him to cut the counter top and as well as a cabinet to go from a 30" width to a 36" width range. He also put in new tile backsplash as well as beautiful white oak shelving with under cabinet lights. For both projects he finished on time and on budget. I rarely write reviews and my only hesitation doing so for Daniel is that he will become too busy to do more projects for me.

After interviewing multiple contractors, G Family stood out immediately as the only team that came on site, dug into the details, and worked to understand our intent--not just replicate the designs. Their honest, up-front pricing was a major differentiator. We received a clear, comprehensive estimate with everything included, while other bids had many "TBD" items that weren't part of the real number. When I factored in those gaps, G Family was very competitive. They were also incredibly collaborative in helping dial in the details: when certain elements exceeded our budget, they provided practical alternatives and helped create a phased plan so we could add features later. Execution matched the planning. Communication was clear, updates were frequent, and when inevitable snags arose, they took the time to explain options and trade-offs. They even diplomatically guided me away from a bad design choice using their experience--absolutely the right call in hindsight. They also handled HOA-required changes without billing extra or anything like that. G Family isn't the cheapest, but the value is worth it. They were accountable, invested, and genuinely treated the project like it was their own backyard. Beyond the craftsmanship, they're just great, down-to-earth people to work with. Our once-underutilized yard is now a beautiful outdoor living space we use every day. I highly recommend G Family Construction!

Most of the contractors gave us very brief proposals with just a total cost and very little documentation. In contrast, Jon from G Family inspected our house inside and out, reviewed the architectural plans, then put together a thoroughly professional bid that clearly detailed all aspects of the project with their specific costs. His attention to detail made G Family an easy choice. It was a pleasure working with the G Family team, especially Jon, co-owner, Angeleah, interior design consultant, Sunil, our project manager and Juan, the tile foreman. The entire G Family team was very professional, punctual and courteous as well as dedicated to producing a quality product. Jon and Sunil were very responsive when questions arose about the project. G Family's professional experience really paid off. We had to deal with several code upgrades and town building department requirements. Jon devised creative solutions that addressed the issues without significantly impacting the cost or schedule. Because they are a full-service contractor, G Family was able to guide us through many of the project details. This helped reduce the stress of all the decisions that needed to be made. Despite warnings from friends and neighbors that a major remodel like ours would go over schedule and cost at least double the original quote, the project finished on time and within our budget. We are extremely pleased with our "new" home and so happy that we chose G Family to do our remodel. We highly recommend them. We would not hesitate to work with them on future projects.

Green Bay Remodeling was the highest bid by 20-50%. We selected Green Bay because they pitched themselves as a turnkey solution and I would simply sit back and just make payments. In reality I needed to be involved constantly to keep this project on track. A few examples: - Sourcing: In the sales meeting, we were told that materials would be sourced by them from their "catalog" and shipped from "their warehouse". I liked the simplicity of that, but in reality, they order things from online vendors like Wayfair and Home Depot and shipped directly to my home. This turned my garage space into their warehouse for nearly 2 months. Also, it is just bad business to ship heavy, breakable things - for example, we had 2 toilets delivered to our home in giant packages - both of which were broken on arrival. (there's a hardware store less than a mile from my home that has toilets in stock) - Communication: We were promised daily updates, this did happen once the construction work started because they often wanted a payment, but we went for long times not hearing during planning process. - Timeline was set by PM as 4 weeks from sign date for permits and planning (closer to 8 weeks due to absences and avoidable omissions on permit application) and 4 weeks for construction (that was met with multiple issues and creative workarounds deployed). - Presence: We understood the PM would be present on the site and would be the main point of contact, but he was missing at key times - including during an inspection with the city permitting department - Attention to detail: Materials were sourced late or incorrectly (a 60 inch vanity ordered rather than 72inch) and broken materials were not identified immediately. We made the construction timeline but only with some creative solutions and lots of legwork. Overall, the guys at GBR are nice, charming people and the finished product looks good. But I give that credit to the amazing sub-contractor who completed the entire project. He covered for their issues and went out of his way to solve problems so that the finished product looked amazing and was finished on time. I would give this person a 5 star review, but I would not engage GBR in the future as this does not reflect value for money.

BACKGROUND: We wanted bookshelves installed above a built-in cabinet unit in our living room. I sent Jitendra a sketch and described what we wanted. From my chicken-scratch sketch, he created a design and mock-up, then measured our space. While measuring, he flagged all existing flaws in the space (uneven/slanted walls) so that we were aware of all inconsistencies upfront. He has amazing attention to detail! RESULTS: We were simply blown away by how well he was able to match the custom shelves to our existing unit; all of the wood looks like it was manufactured at the same time! It truly looks like it was all constructed as one piece from the very beginning, which is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we really appreciate that he took initiative to incorporate crown molding/extra detail on the top of the shelving unit. This is something that I would never have thought to do.
