I love that they have my favorite rolls like crunchy blue or Hawaiian that I can order every time I come in, but it would be nice if they had a rotating specials menu where you could try new different types of rolls to discover new favorites. Here's a short, polite, and balanced version you can use: Came in for dinner tonight and had a mixed experience. We started with the Brussels sprouts, lettuce wraps, and calamari. Unfortunately, the calamari was very small and the Brussels sprouts were quite oily. I mentioned this to our server toward the end of the meal. The second course -- sushi and sashimi -- was much better and really enjoyable. I was a bit surprised that after sharing the feedback, no one followed up or checked in with us. My husband and I stopped by on a Thursday for happy hour. Even though he's not a fan of sushi or seafood, he came along for the drinks and to keep me company while I got my sushi fix. Me, my husband, oldest daughter and granddaughter went to happy hour yesterday. I actually ventured out of my comfort zone and ordered the lettuce wraps with salmon. They were absolutely delicious!!! We came in on 5/06 for my daughters 6th birthday. She requested her favorite meal ever, the kids bento box. I love that my little girl enjoys Blue Sushi, because that means I get to enjoy Blue Sushi more often. We came in at 5pm for an early dinner service and to catch a little bit of happy hour. Stephanie, our server really made our night exceptional, was super attentive, and took care of us all night. My kids ordered soda, and before she refilled their glasses she made sure to ask if that's okay, and that's a really thoughtful server to make sure we we're okay with another round of sugar water, and I definitely noted it. Additionally, some food came out before others and she made sure we know she was keeping an eye out for the other items. In the end she asked if she could bring out the ice cream cake dessert for my daughter and it was truly the *raspberry* on top of a 5-star evening. In general have a great experience at Blue, and we often go with our 2 toddlers - this location does get hectic (busy) on the weekends and the volume can be loud, so just keep that in mind. I order a Philadelphia Role and it had a comically low level of cream cheese in it. It's practically all cucumber, which was disappointing. I also ordered the crab rangoons and they were just fried wontons. They had no cream cheese in them either. Blue has been a staple spot for years for me, so this review is long overdue! I usually get the lunch special of a salad (mix the dressings!) and two rolls when meeting friends for lunch. We've been coming here for quite a while. Not certain how I missed reviewing it. Parking is simple in their ample lot. Good, too, as there's not proximal street-side parking. The staff is always pleasant. You may wait for a table, and a bar is present to solve for that. Some were even eating there. Once seated, service is prompt. The environment is good. Busy. We've never left without a crowd there. Bar-aside and restaurant side do a solid business. The food is delicious. I favor Japanese cuisine and thus far their sushi has not disappointed. The select is large and varied, with many special rolls in addition to the usual sushi fair. They also gave no apparent issue with ordering more than once, a habit I find helpful with this cuisine. We've been here many times and expect to return many more. read more

I don't understand how this place gets rave reviews. The food portions are tiny and overpriced (all the food in my picture was $55....). They don't even season their rice properly, it's literally plain rice. The only thing keeping me from giving a 1 star review is that the fish is fresh at least. Save your money. Go across town to Koji or Umami instead for real sushi. read more
