Like much of the Blues play recently, my meal there was disappointing. Due to COVID there is a contactless QR system to order. BEWARE if someone else is ordering the same time as you are, their order may wind up on yours. I ordered a beer and nachos and my total was $47. I had to flag someone down to ask how to remove the items that were not mine. Server says it happens A LOT and customers are angry at her because they were charged for other people's food. Nachos looked like school cafeteria food. Most chips had too much oil so they were soft which made it very difficult to scope up nacho ingredients. Didn't have any utensils to use. Wanted to like this place but food quality is poor and I would not trust the online ordering system. read more

Nachos were probably the worst I've had in my life. Cold cheese sauce that was more like cheese gravy, grease puddles, and cold brisket on top of the leftover chip crumbs..... why did they take out chili's for this? Second star is only because our server was very nice and attentive. read more

We arrived early for our flight out of St. Louis airport yesterday and went to the Blue Note to have a bite to eat and drink a beer to kill time. The atmosphere was great, but the service was THE WORST service of anyplace I've ever dined! Our servers name was Shannon. We ordered 2 beers. She put the order in and the bartender quickly had the cups filled and waiting on the counter. Shannon was nowhere to be found, literally not in the restaurant and 10 minutes later she finally came back into the restaurant and we got our warm beers. She took our food order, Nacho's and a BLT and then another 15-20 minutes go by before we see her again. We ended up ordering another beer with the bartender, instead of Shannon because she wasn't around. She literally left the restaurant and was either up front or in another room because we could not see her. Shannon finally brought our food and never came back to ask ANYTHING about our food, didn't ask if we want more drinks, or anything. This time she was up front talking with numerous others for another 20 minutes. We finally got her attention and asked for the check, left her a zero tip and wrote on the receipt "worst service ever" so she would get the message. She is NOT a good customer service person and does not represent this establishment well. read more

Guess I should have read the reviews first. I'm here just before a Blues game starts and ask repeatedly for the game on one of the televisions. You'd think it would be automatic with the place being called the blue note that the game would be on multiple screens. I guess call me strange to think such a thing. read more

Skip this one. Took 20 min to get chips and salsa and a salad. They put chicken on the salad when I said I didn't want any. Salad was supposed to have all kind of veggies, I think I got half a cherry tomato. They also stopped taking orders as they couldn't fill they fast enough. read more

I stopped in for breakfast this morning and ordered two scrambled eggs and bacon at the bar. I'm not an especially fussy eater, but these were easily the worst scrambled eggs I have ever tasted. I'm not sure how you can ruin scrambled eggs. They looked unappealing, almost like an egg colored cottage cheese. The had absoutely no flavor and were inedible even after trying to spice them up with seasoning and tabasco I'm no cook, so I don't know what the problem was, but it almost seemed like they added water to the egg mixture instead of milk. I didn't complain, but the bartender noticed that I didn't eat them and took them off my bill. She and the manager were both very nice and tried to make it up to me, but I had to run to catch my flight. read more

Typical airport food; flatbread was 4 pieces, about 6". Don't try to make changes to menu items. TVs mostly not working. Used straws and all throw-away plastic utensils. Staff though were friendly and hardworking. read more

Service was friendly and competent, beer was ok, burger was fine--so why two stars? This place does NOT understand what Margherita pizza (or flatbread) is. We ordered Margherita flatbread, expecting a fairly healthy, veg-forward pizza-like dish. We got something out of a kid's cafeteria. Literally topped with American cheese! Gawd! No basil, no mozzarella, no San Marzano tomatoes--ok, I'm expecting too much, I know. But this square piece of Midwestern crap was not even trying to be a facsimile of Margherita. A fraud and a fail. Would be one star but I appreciated my server. Avoid this place like a virus. read more

When you are in this terminal avoid at all costs. Some of the worst staff I have ever experienced, had 5 people walk by us and not offer to seat us so I just decided to walk to the bar instead of waiting on the staff to have basic customer service skills. When we got to the bar the bartender yelled from across the bar "do not sit down I have to wipe that spot off" - no big deal at all, I understand (because I have worked in restaurants for 8 years) when she came around to wipe bar off she told me to step back from 3 feet away to 4 feet away...... ummmmmmmmm thought CDC protocol was 6 feet... hmmm. In a nutshell, top three worst experiences in a restaurant. Also, if you are freaked out about Covid then maybe it's a good idea to WORK AT THE AIRPORT. Terrible Service and the food was worse. I sat at the bar and Ordered a Veggie Burger. The bartender asked if Id like Regular or Sweet potato fries I replied Regular. She came back 5 minutes later to ask again "wait did you want sweet potato or regular" I replied regular again. I waited 30 minutes for a veggie burger. They place was not busy at all. No big deal whatever. It came and what do you know Sweet potato fries ha! Still no big deal i said "Hey I asked for Regular fries, you actually asked me twice" to which She got such an attitude and started raising her voice and giving me attitude about her mistake!? I was seated immediately by a friend female at the front desk. After I was seated, I watched two different parties, of Caucasian decent, receive paper menus, yet I hadnt. I asked the young man for a menu. He said he needed to find one. I immediately noticed another caucasian male being seated, with a menu. I waited a couple more minutes, never received a menu, So I got my things and left. I advised the young man of the reason I was leaving, and he apologized. I will not tolerate being treated as if I don't matter. My money spends the same as anyone else's. Nor will I patronize another business of this brand during my travels to St.Louis. The food here is perfectly horrible. My girlfriend had chicken nachos. The chicken was gray, the sour cream tasted funny. I had a margherita flatbread. Cheese was goopy and unappealing and flavor not that good. The wait staff was nice. The food is terrible. read more

We didn't expect much but wanted a quick breakfast before our flight. We stopped in The Blue Note and had a fantastic breakfast quesadilla. Our server was friendly and helpful but the best part might have been when manager Tony stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. We had a wonderful conversation and what began as a no expectations breakfast ended up being a memorable experience. Food was mediocre and not to temperature. Caesar salad looked and tasted like it came out of a bag without anyone bothering to check for brown pieces of lettuce. Fries served room temp and needed to be sent back, catsup from the bottom of the bottle. Flatbread was the size of a square envelope, quite small for $9.95 and tasted like cardboard.
