Stopped in during a longer than expected layover during some recent travels through St. Louis. It was pretty packed but after waiting for just a few minutes a table opened up I was able to be seated at. The menu was pretty much what you would expect from a sports bar/airport eatery and the menu consisted of the usual lineup of sandwiches, bar food, chicken tenders, etc. I opted for the hot honey chicken sliders appetizer (with slaw on the side) and a side of fries. The sliders weren't exactly what i expected (the chicken tenders were very disproportionate to the Hawaiian rolls) but the sauce the chicken tenders were tossed in was tasty. Service could be a little hard to flag down as the place was very busy and there seemed to be only two main servers working the room. Was it the best meal I've ever had? Nah. But it also was nowhere near the worst meal I've had an at airport restaurant. But I did leave full and hydrated which after a busy day of sightseeing was what I needed. read more

Went in while waiting for my flight. It was busy, but the bartender's attitude could've been better. And this is coming from someone who has been a bartender. Before I even got a menu she asked me what I wanted and when I said, I didn't know she pointed me to the QR code. I asked to see an actual menu. The beef sliders were good and so was the Chardonnay. It was a typical sports bar feel. When I asked for my bill, she pointed me to a QR code again and I asked to just give her my card as so many others we're doing. I felt rushed out and probably will skip this place on my next trip. read more

5 star service! 4.5 star food & drinks & 3 stars cleanliness. Lynette was our server and she was absolutely amazing and hustling, (one of two servers in the entire restaurant on a Friday night!?!) Ordered the Chicken sandwich, buffalo wings, honey barbecue wings, and hamburger - all were yummy! Typically, I only eat buffalo wings, but the honey barbecue ones came out on accident and they were absolutely delicious and I would order again! Hamburger was good, juicy and delicious. One of the few sit-down restaurants at St Lou airport. A smaller menu, but somewhat decent, and has a bar. Our server was really really good. Very sweet. My granddaughters split a burger and fries. I had the Clubhouse Turkey with fries, and large glass of wine. Our layover was long and ended up being even longer. read more

This restaurant is your pretty standard airport food. It was very busy at the time of my visit so there was a pretty good wait for food. I ordered the chicken cordon blue sandwich and the sandwich itself was actually pretty good. The service was friendly but also a little hard to get. The environment is average. The prices for the food and portion size was actually reasonable for airport food. read more

Do I have to give a star?.YES~. The Bloody Mary was GREAT!!!!!! Service not so much. Waited forever to get a seat . Staff was limited, but the ones they had were not interested in being there~ OR~working together. I truly they couldn't stand each other. It was the only place open at 7 o'clock in the morning, not sure why:/. The guy next to us had his breakfast but no and already needed a refill on his drink if that tells you anything may have just been the morning, but I doubt it. read more

Stopped in last night while on a couple hour layover. Ordered the brisket sliders with slaw. The slaw was too peppery and the brisket tasted old and burnt and covered up with sauce. They were on Hawaiian rolls and the meal was not appealing. Server was kind and working hard to cover all of the tables. read more

Long layover so decided to stop in to enjoy watching the games on tv and eat and drink. Chairs are comfy. Bartender keeps busy working while bar and making drinks for the servers. Our server Kari was doing the best she could and was very good and attentive to us. Some people we noticed waited quite some time to even get greeted or acknowledged. The nachos were disgusting and soggy. We had them sent back and got the fried raviolis instead. Mixed greens salad was good after adding bacon. Thank god we weren't in a hurry because some of the servers were just standing around. This place could be so much better. read more

Having brunch on our connecting flight Via Southwest. Seated within 5 mins and ordered within 10 mins. Ordered some alcoholic beverages, ravioli and sliders. Received my food within 10 mins. All was delicious! I would go back to this place because the waitress was really nice and the food was good. With that given, airport prices remains. 4 stars only because our waitress needed help! She was trying her best to accommodate us. The staff was alittle on the thin side. Overall good drinks and good food. Management needs to access their staffing. read more

I've been flying through Lambert for almost 20 years. The restaurant scene has changed quite a bit, and one of the "newer" additions is the Blue Note. I believe it replaced a Chili's, (or it's in the same wing) which was my go-to for a long time. And if you're craving an American "bar and grill" type of meal, then the Blue Note might fill that need. There was some construction going on in the terminal, so the food options were limited and this place was crowded. Luckily we found a table close to the bar. Normally, they encourage you to order with the app, but we had a server who walked up. She was nice and friendly. The beer selection was admittedly disappointing: we were in STL at a Blues-themed bar, and I don't remember a single local craft beer on the menu. While there were plenty of Budweiser (famously local) products, I settled on a Space Dust IPA, which was fine price-wise --- it's an airport. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but exactly what I wanted and came with enough fries. We ended up settling our check through the QR code on the table because our server disappeared for a while. As for ambiance -- it's pretty average. It feels like an airport restaurant, and there are plenty of TV's if you're near the bar. There are some gluten free options, so that was a bonus for my wife. I'd go again if we had to, but I'm hoping to try another spot next time or eat ahead of time. read more

We had an evening flight out of St. Louis, and I was hungry! There was room for us here, so we stopped in. My wife had the pretzel and I had the turkey club sandwich. She liked her pretzel, which actually came as two of them. My sandwich was delicious and satisfying. Service was great. Fun to relax with a meal and watch the folks coming and going read more

In terms of food selection in the Southwest Terminal, I'll take my chances here vs. the other options. Being one of the newer options, this replaced Chili's, the menu has a decent selection of Breakfast and Lunch fare. I've eaten here for both menus. Breakfast, I sat at the bar right as they opened and ordered the Traditional meal: bacon, eggs with cheese, hashbrowns and toast. It came out fast and tasted pretty good. This most recent visit, I popped in at 9:30a and was surprised that they had already switched over to the lunch menu. Went with the chicken quesadilla option and again, a solid meal. It had more cheese and onions than chicken, so I only ate about 1/2. Service was friendly and pretty fast turn around. read more

Stuck in STL for 9 hours and decided to grab some food here since it was the only place that had impossible burger on menu. I sat at the bar and Brandon was the bartender/server. The place was packed and people were waiting for space to sit, so the pace of stuff was slow but expected with how busy it was. I ordered the impossible burger with a coke and water and then got a cocktail later while hanging out for a bit. The burger was grilled well and even had some crisp edges which I loved, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. I was hungry after a long morning and it hit the spot. I got the Raspberry Palmer with vodka instead of bourbon. Great pit stop during a layover. read more

It's always difficult traveling with food allergies and/or restrictions, so I walked to several eateries to see if they had anything. I really didn't want to spend a lot and neither did I want a large portion. The Blue Note seemed to be my best option. I ordered two sides; sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The host was really sweet, very polite. I stood away from the restaurant as not to cause confusion with potential customers. I received my food rather quickly. There wasn't much to it. We were flying out of the airport on an early morning flight and decided to grab some breakfast at the restaurant near our gate. We were seated by Daryll, who also ended up being our waiter. He seems to be an efficient waiter with not a lot of room for small talk. I opted for the Blues Omelet, which had sausage, caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese. It was plentiful and delicious. Hash browns and toast were also included. My husband had the playoffs entree, which included two eggs, any way, hash browns, choice of meat and toast. He also liked his meal. I stopped by this bar in the airport because it had comfortable seating, a decent view, and good food. I had the same server both times, and she was very friendly and prompt. Avocado toast was very filling with its' portion, and the breakfast hash was overly filling. Both of my meals were great, and the mimosas' refreshing. My fiancé, my daughter and I decided to stop in for lunch before our next flight, because it was Blues themed and looked incredible! I ordered the Skybox Mac & Cheese Entree. This thick and creamy Mac & Cheese is amazing, filled with flavorful smoked brisket, linguica and don't even get me started on their zesty fondue! I would HIGHLY recommend this location your next visit to St. Louis Airport! Our server was amazing, we asked her to change our order to to-go last minute to make it to our next flight and she was right on it! This bar is a good lunch spot in the Southwest's Terminal. I had the fried chicken burger which was very good. The wait time is extremely slow though. It took about 25-30mins to get the food. Price is relatively cheaper than other restaurants in the Terminal. read more

Got here around 8:30 and it was packed but we were able to get seats at the bar. Didn't want anything too heavy before our flight so we just got sides of bacon, andouille and hashbrowns. Perfectly cooked, like comfort food to me. Best breakfast I've had on this vacation so far! read more

What do you do when you're at the airport and your flight is delayed and delayed and delayed (more than 2 hours)? Eat, drink, and try to he merry! I'm not gonna lie, the only reason I at the Blue Note is because it's right next to my gate...but I don't regret the choice. The Turkey Club is good...not o ly did they toast the bread, but they grilled the turkey! Very good! I will be doing that next time I make one at home. The long Island iced tea...I had to send the first one back because it was a little (a lot) heavy on the sweet and sour mix, but the second one was (in the words of Goldilocks) "just right"! I don't fly through St Louis very often, but if the layover ever allows and I'm anywhere near gate E20, I know where I'll be waiting. read more

Not bad for airport food, and not terribly overpriced either. We got the crab cakes with a side of fries. Crab cakes were decent for the price, more crab than I expected. The fries were okay, they're "spiced" but not super flavorful, not particularly crisp either. The Caesar salad was good, fresh lettuce and the chicken was better than expected (not a chicken breast with the fake grill marks that you get sometimes in salad). Dressing was flavorful, lots of cheese which I like. read more

Kind of a mixed bag here. Overall, the staff seems disengaged. Not very welcoming. That said, my waitress (Khjadira) was excellent. Her efforts alone bumped this up a full star. The food was average at best. I never expect the world from airport food. But, the burger toppings were not the best. The bun was standard, even though it promised to be brioche. Patty was a good size, but the onion ring topper was soggy. The fries were pretty good. They had a nice seasoning to them. The place does have a full bar. I had Diet Coke, but maybe this is why a lot of people were here - for the drinks. I spent $17.22 for a burger, fries and Diet Coke, not including gratuity. I should have gone to Burger King. Would have been about the same quality for a lot less. In this space, they really need to differentiate their food from standard fast food fare. read more

It took a little finagling the second night (Kimmie (f i remember names correctly), you gotta do better than "Margaritas" as your 'special" :) ), and i never caught the third bartendress name, but she was as friendly as Anna and Kimmie. Best feel was, I didn't feel like a stranger on either night I went in, conversations with the regulars just felt _normal_ and not as though I was _intruding and even got "challenged' to show up Karaoke night by one of the regulars (he had a good laugh when I described my singing skills as "can't carry at tune in a bucket with the lid RIVETED on". First night I went , they were doing Bingo.. (showed up after they started so didn't join in late) , next night, Trivia.. (even left work early to make sure I showed upon time). Everyone was having fun, the hosts running the shows were fantastic. Which means Friday nights with live music and Sat. Night karaoke this place I think should be rocking!) The food - absolutely fantastic and fast. a full meal on night one (Burger, and loaded tots), and plenty of side-dishes on night two... So many things I wanted to try, but had to keep it to a minimum for back-2-back nights. I can see concerns if they pack the house on any night (again, not a large venue, although in the middle of winter, no surprise the outdoor patio was wrapped up, which probably adds some more ), but for what they had the two nights I was there, this is a much see! There was a sign that said please wait to be seated, so I opted not to go in because some places have their carry out at the front, while others have it at the bar. After a couple mins, a server came and told me to go to the bar. When I walked in, another server came and asked if I had the to-go order. I said yes and she was back within a couple mins with my order. The salad came in a styrofoam container with the chicken and croutons on top and the dressing in a separate container. The salad itself was pretty good but didn't wow me. I've paid less at other places with more protein. To start, the lettuce is about two portions worth; unfortunately, the protein and croutons aren't conducive to the amount of lettuce you get. Additionally, by the time I got home, some of the lettuce was soggy from the chicken and the croutons had become the same way. To the owners, it would behoove you to update your website and make sure all pricing is current and have clear instructions on where to pick up carry out orders. The place is huge with a ton of space but it may be a while before I come back.

My meal was $85 (8 oz hand-cut filet mignon with 6 oz North Atlantic lobster tail & warm drawn butter). Fay ordered 8 oz hand-cut filet mignon and stuffed shrimp with sautéed spinach, parmesan‑crusted Campari tomato & port wine demi‑glace for $68, and we shared a side of sweet corn brûlée with a brown sugar crust for $18. First of all, the restaurant is not really elegant. It's nice enough, but no real ambience to make you feel special. I wonder if Flemings used to be elegant before the ownership stopped caring about providing the current clientele an uplifted experience. We requested that our waiter Will, prepare our starter salads (candied walnuts, dried cranberries, red onion, campari tomato) in to-go boxes so we wouldn't fill up before our entree. He brought a loaf of OK sourdough bread to the table (for $6 more you could upgrade to Milkbread with Lavendar Honey butter). It took an exceptionally long time for the boxed salads to arrive and they mostly looked like a box full of lettuce. Very unimpressive. When our entrees arrived, the corn brûlée was delicious, but the steaks were hardly seasoned, not as tender as I expected, and undercooked - my medium was a little closer to rare. They forgot to bring the drawn butter and the lobster tail was still RAW IN THE MIDDLE. I only told the manager who happened to be walking by that my lobster was still raw. We let the unseasoned undercooked non-melt-in-your-mouth steaks slide. When I showed him the lobster which I had already cut into a few pieces, the manager only offered to cook it some more. I thought he would replace it with a fresh fully cooked lobster tail. At first this yahoo, who had been walking around shaking other people's hands extended a napkin for me to place the lobster tail in for him to take to the kitchen. I placed the lobster tail on a bread plate. I also expected that he would adjust our check for the inconvenience. NOPE! While waiting for my lobster to cook some more, we overheard the table behind us complain to the waiter that their lobster was undercooked and their steak was less than tender. The waiter offered them free drinks and free dessert, and I believe this older white couple settled on returning the food and not paying anything. I'm usually a stickler about providing a generous tip for the wait staff, but this time since the wait staff did nothing to improve our experience, we left a 10% gratuity along with a handwritten paragraph at the bottom of the check explaining why. We weren't angry, just disappointed. With drinks, tax and tip, we learned a $240 lesson about Flemings.
