Clubhouse Turkey with spiced fries
Anna H.

One of the few sit-down restaurants at St Lou airport. A smaller menu, but somewhat decent, and has a bar. Our server was really really good. Very sweet. My granddaughters split a burger and fries. I had the Clubhouse Turkey with fries, and large glass of wine. Our layover was long and ended up being even longer.

Good Bloody Mary. Airport prices.

Do I have to give a star?.YES~. The Bloody Mary was GREAT!!!!!! Service not so much. Waited forever to get a seat . Staff was limited, but the ones they had were not interested in being there~ OR~working together. I truly they couldn't stand each other. It was the only place open at 7 o'clock in the morning, not sure why:/. The guy next to us had his breakfast but no and already needed a refill on his drink if that tells you anything may have just been the morning, but I doubt it.

Having brunch on our connecting flight Via Southwest. Seated within 5 mins and ordered within 10 mins. Ordered some alcoholic beverages, ravioli and sliders. Received my food within 10 mins. All was delicious! I would go back to this place because the waitress was really nice and the food was good. With that given, airport prices remains. 4 stars only because our waitress needed help! She was trying her best to accommodate us. The staff was alittle on the thin side. Overall good drinks and good food. Management needs to access their staffing.

It's not a bad airport restaurant! The service was quick and the food was decent. Not too overpriced as far as airports go either. I was pleasantly surprised by this experience

Airport fare with very good service. We just had cocktails & a pretzel. Solid. Interesting sports theme.

Elysian Space Dust IPA

I've been flying through Lambert for almost 20 years. The restaurant scene has changed quite a bit, and one of the "newer" additions is the Blue Note. I believe it replaced a Chili's, (or it's in the same wing) which was my go-to for a long time. And if you're craving an American "bar and grill" type of meal, then the Blue Note might fill that need. There was some construction going on in the terminal, so the food options were limited and this place was crowded. Luckily we found a table close to the bar. Normally, they encourage you to order with the app, but we had a server who walked up. She was nice and friendly. The beer selection was admittedly disappointing: we were in STL at a Blues-themed bar, and I don't remember a single local craft beer on the menu. While there were plenty of Budweiser (famously local) products, I settled on a Space Dust IPA, which was fine price-wise --- it's an airport. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but exactly what I wanted and came with enough fries. We ended up settling our check through the QR code on the table because our server disappeared for a while. As for ambiance -- it's pretty average. It feels like an airport restaurant, and there are plenty of TV's if you're near the bar. There are some gluten free options, so that was a bonus for my wife. I'd go again if we had to, but I'm hoping to try another spot next time or eat ahead of time.

In terms of food selection in the Southwest Terminal, I'll take my chances here vs. the other options. Being one of the newer options, this replaced Chili's, the menu has a decent selection of Breakfast and Lunch fare. I've eaten here for both menus. Breakfast, I sat at the bar right as they opened and ordered the Traditional meal: bacon, eggs with cheese, hashbrowns and toast. It came out fast and tasted pretty good. This most recent visit, I popped in at 9:30a and was surprised that they had already switched over to the lunch menu. Went with the chicken quesadilla option and again, a solid meal. It had more cheese and onions than chicken, so I only ate about 1/2. Service was friendly and pretty fast turn around.

Stuck in STL for 9 hours and decided to grab some food here since it was the only place that had impossible burger on menu. I sat at the bar and Brandon was the bartender/server. The place was packed and people were waiting for space to sit, so the pace of stuff was slow but expected with how busy it was. I ordered the impossible burger with a coke and water and then got a cocktail later while hanging out for a bit. The burger was grilled well and even had some crisp edges which I loved, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. I was hungry after a long morning and it hit the spot. I got the Raspberry Palmer with vodka instead of bourbon. Great pit stop during a layover.

St Louis Nachos

Having lunch here now. The St Louis Nachos were amazing! The Angus burger was cooked to perfection. The staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful.

Sweet potato fries and coleslaw

It's always difficult traveling with food allergies and/or restrictions, so I walked to several eateries to see if they had anything. I really didn't want to spend a lot and neither did I want a large portion. The Blue Note seemed to be my best option. I ordered two sides; sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The host was really sweet, very polite. I stood away from the restaurant as not to cause confusion with potential customers. I received my food rather quickly. There wasn't much to it. The slaw was better than the unseasoned, cold fries. I had to drown my fries in ketchup.

Ham & Swiss Omelette with hash browns and toast/

Grabbed a quick bite before my flight. A simple Breakfast that wasn't priced too crazy. The food was good and the service was great. They weren't too busy so I didn't have to wait long. Several searing options for various travelers

Overall enjoyed it! Great bar for hockey fans. Nice atmosphere and seating. Service a little slow but the food was good and a decent beer selection. I had the bratwurst and especially loved the pretzel bun and toppings. Sweet potato fries had good flavor and temperature.

We were flying out of the airport on an early morning flight and decided to grab some breakfast at the restaurant near our gate. We were seated by Daryll, who also ended up being our waiter. He seems to be an efficient waiter with not a lot of room for small talk. I opted for the Blues Omelet, which had sausage, caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese. It was plentiful and delicious. Hash browns and toast were also included. My husband had the playoffs entree, which included two eggs, any way, hash browns, choice of meat and toast. He also liked his meal. The music and service were both good. We would return.

It's easy to navigate the airport and the lines usually aren't long. Plenty of stress to eat after passing TSA and restrooms are clean. Officer (should've gotten her name) was mid-30s I'd say and had an ATTITUDE, not compassionate, and was incredibly rude. Young woman I was filming was wearing a light blue crop top with black leggings. All skin-tight. Didn't matter to the officer, who said and I quote "I'll need to pat you down from head to toe to make sure you're not concealing anything." After squeezing the woman's bun, she checks the back of her top, stopping where the clasp of her bra band. "Ma'am, what is this!!?? (rudely)." "It's my bra clasp." "Hmmm, I'm going to need to conduct some extra screening on it." After using her hands to do everything except lift her shirt up and touch it herself, she finally "cleared the area." Then, the officer told the woman that she would be tugging on the waistband. She didn't tug. She fully used her gloved hands to first rub around the whole waistband, then her fingers to GRAB parts of the waistband and pull them away from the body. When the girl jerked away at the movement, the officer almost yelled "Stop! You can't move during screening!!" She then proceeded to check the inside of her waistband by sticking almost her whole hand inside and rubbing the inside. At least she used the back of her hand for the buttocks and groin like she's supposed to. But the " upper thigh area", sheesh! Thank god that officer was wearing gloves! She stuck her hands so far up the poor young women's tights and stayed there "to ensure detection." Yikes. After rubbing her hands over every inch of her legs (what did she think she was going to find, the girl's wearing leggings, OMG), she moved to the front. She firmly placed her hand between the breasts and moved her hand up and down multiple times to the point where the crop top got pushed down. Then she slid her hand (both sides) underneath the bra. Then stopped. "What am I feeling here? Anything in your bra?" "No, nothing." Of course extra screening. No joking, that officer must have spent 5-8 minutes straight using her hands to feel for anything under the bra band. I'm surprised she didn't make her shake it out. Good God. Waistband was the same check described before. Same with the thighs and legs. YIKES.

Pin‑Up Bowl is a small bowling alley with only eight lanes, a big bar, and plenty of seating, and once our leader confirmed the credit card the whole thing kicked into gear with free drinks flowing right away, draft beers and a few cans and bottles and rail liquors, so I grabbed a beer while others went straight for rum and cokes or vodka and cranberry and the like. The food never stopped coming, trays of toasted ravioli and chicken tenders and pizza arriving again and again, and even with ten minutes left in the unlimited window the kitchen was still sending things out, which made the whole setup feel generous rather than timed or stingy. As for the bowling, it worked well enough for a place that has probably been running nonstop for years. Even though I haven't bowled in twenty years I still managed a respectable 125, which felt like a small personal victory. The machinery had the occasional hiccup, nothing dramatic, just the usual quirks you expect in an older alley, like the lane next to us needing to edit their scores a couple of times or a ball getting stuck in the back or a pin landing in the gutter that someone had to kick down manually, all of it adding to the lived‑in charm rather than taking away from the night. It's a neat spot on Delmar, easygoing and unpretentious, and our whole group had a great time, the kind of outing that works because the place doesn't try too hard and instead just lets people relax, bowl a little, eat a lot, and enjoy themselves. The bowling is fun, music is good. The people who frequent it, nice. The pizza i got after they made something I hadn't ordered and corrected it, was pretty good, though the bacon was not cooked in the center, (luckily I noticed before i got sick from it)....So I had a decent opinion of the place. Many decades of coming to many places in the Loop have always been fun, with my kids, and my mom..A lot of the business owners are dear friends for years.. contemporaries. we've fought for a great cohesive community and nurtured it. This woman had gone from being nice and assuring me I was good, to a Jeckel & Hyde thing out of nowhere, contradicting what she'd just said. Threatened me, menaced me. There was no catalyst. We were far away. I understand that people get tired, have bad days, but this was bizarre and highly inappropriate.
