Delicious breakfast sandwiches and bakery items. Drip coffee, pizza, homemade soups and sandwiches. Daily specials. Also baguette, bagels and other bakery items to take home. Lots of parking out front! I would vote Blue Moon bakery the best spot to go for a quick breakfast or lunch. Eat in options or take away. read more

Their name is misleading, since they offer more than just baked goods! At our lodge, we were told at the front desk that they're the only pizza place that delivers right to the door. We called to order pizza delivery, since it was late and cold that night. But we were told the wait time was going to be two hours. We ditched delivery and decided we'd just go there and dine another day. Later, we went around noon and ordered a breakfast sandwich and some snacks. The wait time was much shorter. We went upstairs, since it was quiet up there. We ate our food, and it was delicious. We were fueled up for our skiing session that day. After we got done skiing, we decided to come back for a post-workout meal and got their pizza, which was delicious too! With great food and chill vibes, we understand why Blue Moon Bakery is so popular! read more

This is supposed to be a quick-serve deli and pizza shop. There were five people in line in front of us shortly before 1pm today, but we had to wait 40 minutes after we ordered for our first sandwich to be served. Then they served three other parties, and then our other sandwich came out. The french roll for the second sandwich seemed like it had been sitting out for several days. And, we ate on a table like all the others - full of other people's crumbs and spillage. The finale was that they defended it by saying, "We're really a pizza parlor", as though we shouldn't order sandwiches there. Well, in the future we won't!! read more

Always get the bagels when I'm in Big Sky but the other day something new and magical happened... I glanced down and saw a brown square... a peanut butter bar they called it. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, it was baked fresh to order but they do have slices available. I was told it would take around 10 minutes, so I went for a quick walk and pizza was ready when I got back. I ate a slice there on one of the tables outside. There were 2 shop dogs walking around not bothering anyone or begging for food. My pizza was heavy on the sauce and cheese. The cheese and pepperoni just slid off the pizza as I picked up a slice. Felt very wet and was messy to eat. The crust was soft and you couldn't fold the slice to keep it from flopping over. read more

Amazing fresh baked bagel breakfast sandwich! I got the Works bagel with pastrami, peppers, onions, cheddar, and veggie cream cheese. Their French baguette for sandwiches is too dry and dense. The pizza is not very good, chewy crust and the cheese tasted artificial. What was really bad was the dishonesty. We ordered 2 pizzas and the price was higher than advertised, then a $15 extra charge was added for a "large order", then a delivery charge was added when we picked it up at the counter in their store. Other charges were also added. Undisclosed charges are not legal; none of this was disclosed and we did not get a receipt until after the credit card was charged. Go over the parking lot to Milkies for a better pizza and honesty. read more

Low labor easy access and freshly made Pizza, delicious and big serving sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches too. We even tried one of the homemade style sweets. The workers are hard working and ultimately serve you well but seemed a little impatient if you don't know their menu by heart and take an extra minute to make up your mind. The place can use a serious general cleaning and housekeeping may not be anywhere close to the top of their priority list. From the Business

Specialties

We are Big Sky's only local bakery, specializing in bagels, pizza, sandwiches and treats, all homemade. We have fair trade organic coffee, and provide locals and tourists alike a place to eat, drink and be merry without breaking your wallet. We offer delivery when possible, not free or fast, but we'll do our best!

History

Established in 1990.

Our business started up in 1990 in half the space and without the restaurant elements it has today. The current owners purchased the business in 2001 and added pizza, doubled the available space, and the place took off. We appreciate all the support from locals and tourists alike. We try to be open year round, but sometimes the lack of available labor limits our hours or services.

Feedin' the locals and gapers alike, Blue Moon will do you right. Prime spot for a hangover breakfast on the porch or a late lunch date with your best ski pal. The lunch menu features salads, sandwiches, and the "local" special: 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $6. In a ski town where everything is overpriced, that special is hard to beat. They also serve the best coffee and chai teas in town. Blue Moon is the only place in town that will deliver. They also do take-out and bad-ass birthday cakes. Call ahead at least 48 hours in advance for a cake. read more

DO NOT FREQUENT THIS place! The owner who said his name is Christian was so rude to us tonight is was unimaginable. After waiting for 45 minutes for a pizza that they said would take 20 minutes, and after I said they had killed their tip, the owner told us to never come back and threatened to call the police! This is after we paid $50 for two pizzas. He said he is local and doesn't care about tourists. Sad thing is we are NOT tourists but local owners. I will tell everyone in Big sky to not come here. read more

I'm just in town for a few days with my family and decided to order delivery to the hotel. There were very few options, so I called Blue Moon. I had a basic order of a Works pizza and cheese pizza. Then I asked if they have chicken wings, I get rude "No, maybe you should check out menu and call back. Then they deliver the order without confirmation. Very rude person over the phone. Find a different place. read more

A quick place for breakfast or lunch. The breads and pizza are all homemade. One of the few places open for lunch on the weekend.

Let me set the scene: family of four, Friday morning, stomachs growling like grizzlies waking up from hibernation. We put our name on the waitlist online (be still my efficiency-loving heart), strolled in, and were tucked into a comfortable high-top booth within minutes. No chaos, no scrambling, just a hostess perched on a step stool like a air traffic controller for pancakes, calmly directing her team to the next open table with the precision of a woman who has clearly mastered the Tetris of brunch seating. Now, the food. We ordered enough to feed a small army: eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cold smoked slab bacon, hash browns, and a breakfast burrito. Every. Single. Dish. Had its own personality. This isn't a "one good thing on the menu" situation, it's an entire lineup of overachievers. The homemade ketchup alone deserves its own fan club; it's the kind of ketchup that makes you side-eye every bottle you've ever used before, wondering how you settled for less. But here's the real magic: it wasn't just the food that blew us away, it was the machine behind it. Our server, Adrienne, was an absolute rockstar. Warm, fast, attentive, and somehow never missing a beat despite a packed house. She even carried a credit card terminal so we could pay right at the table, no waiting, no flagging someone down, just done. That's the kind of small detail that tells you a restaurant actually thinks about its guests' time. And the vibe among the staff? You could feel it. These aren't people clocking in and counting the minutes, they genuinely seem to enjoy being there, and it shows in every interaction. I watched one of the managers get approached by customer after customer, all gushing about their meal, and she just stood there soaking it in like she'd heard it a hundred times and still loved every second. I told her, half-joking, that if I had to find one thing to change about our visit, I'd have to come back just to find it, because nothing, and I mean nothing, was even close to off. Not the food, not the service, not the wait, not the vibe. Jam! isn't just a breakfast spot; it's a masterclass in how hospitality should work. Do yourself a favor: put your name on that waitlist, grab a booth, and prepare to have your brunch expectations completely recalibrated.

What caught me was the local charm, the attention to each detail - from the name, to the art, the glass, the kitchen, the blend with its surroundings and unique style. And just like that I felt transported to this moment in time all mine; it brought me to my childhood as I see Felix the cat on the walls, it brought me to the comfort of homemade, the menu is fun and one of a kind - it has its own set of rules. Fried in beef tallow, these donuts fill your craving for a guilty pleasure without giving you that almost regrettable feeling after you eat them. They offer a nice variety of flavors but my stand outs have to be the original glazed, Nutella, and huckleberry. I thought I would really love the creme brulee but the cream inside had a strange sour tang to it that my palette did not enjoy.
