We ordered takeout from blue mango the other night. It was quick and easy to order and pick up -- lots of safety measures in place which was great. The chicken gra pow was delicious with lots of deep flavor and spice. The sushi my friend ordered looked wonderful. The only miss was the chicken noodle soup which I ordered at a 2 spice level and was just insanely spicy. I couldn't even eat it and it felt like a mistake in the spicy level. I have to provide a review. I have eaten at this restaurant 2-3 times in the past few years when I am in town visiting. My family came in to the restaurant we ordered multiple items. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and the shrimp hadn't been cooked through. (Gray and cold). The waiter came back with a new order, which the restaurant did not comp My beef dish came out and it was so tough and stringy, I wasn't sure what I was eating. My family didn't quite have as bad of an experience, but their fried rice was gummy and flavorless. I am not sure what happened that evening because on prior visits the food was decent. Went here with a big group and was very impressed by their service and how they handled all of us. A real disappointment. The menu is huge and maybe that's the problem, because nothing is very good. They have pho on the menu but when it comes out, no sprouts, no basil, no chile, and not much flavor. I asked for hoisin and the server did not know what it was. Had to ask twice for Sriracha, and the pepper paste never found its way to the table. Sad to say, but there really isn't any decent Asian food in Northern Berkshire County. read more

All three dishes were sweeter than what we were accustomed to at other Vietnamese/Thai establishments in other parts of the country, but they were perfectly acceptable. All three dishes were also more generous portions than we had had at other Vietnamese/Thai establishments. The drunken noodles could have been charred more for better flavor, but again, very acceptable. Let me say that I was pleasantly surprised to run into a Thai and Japanese restaurant - the combination is rather interesting and happens to be my two favorite Asian cuisines as well! We stumbled upon this place prior to visiting the Clark Museum nearby. We stuck with Thai fare, which was excellent. We got an assortment of dishes to share family style and the flavors and service were en pointe! This place is an absolute gem -- if it were in NYC, it'd give many Thai restaurants a run for its money. DO NOT EAT HERE! I ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp. When I tried to return my order because the shrimp was not deveined nor was their pineapples in my rice I was met with hostility from the cashier. I asked for a refund or for the restaurant to remake my food and this time to actually CLEAN the shrimp. They refused to do either, and said if they gave me a refund it's like they are giving me free food. They also said refused to clean the shrimp because they said that's how it comes from the market. They offered to make it over with chicken but why would I trust them to cook any meat correctly if they can not even clean shrimp. Showed up like 30 minutes before this place closed and there was only one other soul in the restaurant. We basically had it all to ourselves. We could hear the soft music clearly, talk to one another without raising our voices and could easily get our server's attention if necessary. We were sat in the corner up against the exterior window so it was a bit romantic watching the nothingness that was happening outside. Lol. (It was like a Monday night so things were kinda dead.) We started with the Beef Satay which came highly recommended. Freaking delicious and I was truly blown away by it. I'd make it a meal if I ordered 4 or 5 of these. Lol. So my girl and I were feeling sushi... we got the medium boat. MMMAAANNN... there was so much sushi on this boat and it looked cool too! Like... I felt Jack Sparrow was gonna descend from the netting down onto my sashimi. He didn't though. Everything was so fresh, tasty and they were generous with the ginger. We stayed WELL PAST closing time and nobody batted an eye. The service was impeccable and they made us feel like family.
