Delicious lunch meals... hot and fresh with all the fixings. Our order was perfect and amazing! The chicken fingers were great and the pork fried rice is the perfect balance of ingredients. I have lived locally for 16 years and never bought food here until today. It was much less expensive than or usual Chinese place (panda house) and the food was decent. The chicken dish portions were smaller than I expected but still sufficient. The chicken fingers portion was great. I was bummed to see a ton of food dye on the beef sticks. Overall decently tasty, decently priced and ver very friendly staff when we picked up. I will be ordering from here again. read more

I'm giving China Wok 5 stars because I overlooked it in the past based on its low overall 3.3 star rating and the unfair 1 star review from years ago. Got several noodle dishes from there (Chow Fun, etc.). It's basically a solid 4.25 star strip mall place in rural Massachusetts. No one's comparing to the soup dumplings in Chinatown. But if you want solid General Tso's and the like, this is definitely a place to go. Also, loved that one of the maybe 6-7 year old children tried to check me out! One suggestion for the restaurant: maybe post a daily or even weekly off-menu special on social media? Would love to see what else you can make! read more

New England has a bizarre glut of Chinese Take-Out Joints, which are kinda incomprehensible to the Western foodie mind. We have this kind of thing back home in California, it just happens to be Vietnamese or Mexican. In any case, I'm a college student, and one thing my college studnet buddies dearly, dearly love is cheap and snappy Chinese food. Which leads us to China Wok . Weirdly located in a strip mall next to the Sketchiest Playground Ever (as my friend called it), there's seating for exactly two and as you might imagine, not a hell of a lot of ambience. This is a delivery place, after all. You order off a board and your food comes up fast....really, that is just like in China. I had mixed vegetables in extra spicy garlic sauce ($5.75) and was pleased to find the sauce had some real kick, the vegetables were fresh and prepared for the exact right length of time, and that there were a wide variety of tasty green growing things in the dish. One friend had the Hot and Spicy Beef combo ($5.95), complete with nicely browned pork fried rice and a crispy and tasty looking spring roll (that was very, very big.) . It was definitely good, with lots of fresh red peppers and skillfully cooked meat. My other friend had the beef and vegetables (5.95) which was far as I could tell same as my dish but with the addition of cow. This was also good. We also had some big fat fried dumplings, which were filled with beef and not much else. Eh, I'm ambivalent to fried dumplings. China Wok is a suprisingly solid place to go if you want quick Chinese food and don't really care how you eat it. Rock on. read more

There are times where I just don't want to cook for myself, but don't want to go out to dinner either. This is usually after a long day where I'm looking to put as little effort as possible into dinner. China Wok always delivers for me in these occasions. This is above average strip mall Chinese takeout (or delivery). If I'm picking up, I'll call in on my way home from work, no matter what I order its ready in 10 minutes. I usually get the same thing, pork lo mein, no veggies and the chicken wings. Food is always consistent and filling. I always have lunch for the next day as well. I have tried the various General Tso offerings but I find that there is just too much sauce and it never reheats well. I find that just sticking to the lo mein and chicken wings is best. The pork fried rice is also very good here, but who needs lo mein and rice in the same meal? read more

The food was okay. The chicken was overcooked but I liked the crispness that it had.Not the best but not terrible either. I was mostly unimpressed with the customer service. We are new to the area and wanted to order in. I called the restaurant with an idea of what we wanted, but I didn't know what their serving sizes were. I asked the woman over the phone and asked about how large their portions were and she snipped at me saying that she didn't know how much I ate. I tried to clarify by asking if she thought an order of general tsous chicken was enough for two people and she again said she didn't know if I at a lot or a little. I eventually just gave up and only ordered one item of chicken and asked for two containers of rice as I didn't know if the meal came with rice already(by the way, it does). She snipped at me again about the rice before finally saying that the chicken did come with fried rice before making the conversation confusing. And I just said I wanted an order of general tsous with a separate side of white rice. They also never asked me for a name or phone number when I had someone pick it up for me. Had to text the person my phone number when they arrived. Wasn't super impressed. Hopefully If I order again then the customer service will be better. read more
