Walked in here impromptu after watching the Odyssey and was able to get a large party seated in 10min. Bar and staff are super friendly. Their chicken parm is a limited number each day - definitely a must-get for coming here. They try very hard to cater to those with dietary restrictions. Portion sizes are just a bit small and the wait for food was a bit longer than expected. Cute, intimate interior and a few seating options outdoor as well. read more

Nice meal. I enjoyed the eggplant lasagna. Hubby's chicken parm was delicious. The ambiance is very romantic. Excellent service.

Loved our experience here! Cozy, dark and calm vibe here. Extra attentive waiter. Asked me how I'd like my cosmopolitan (light or dark) and how I'd like my salmon cooked. I've actually never been asked that before. I guess I've assumed that the kitchen would prepare the dish properly. Does anyone order salmon well done? It came out medium and delicious. It was fine but I wouldn't order again, I wish I chose a pasta dish. Cocktails were fine, but we made a mistake ordering Irish coffee after dinner. We asked if it would be authentic and after waiter mentioned Baileys or crème d menthe we should have stopped there. So disappointing, but our own fault. read more

Wanted a five star experience but it just didn't happen, The entrance has been moved to within an office building - very strange and uninviting. Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there. And our Siberatas salad was very good. I would like to go back and give it another try since everyone else seems to have a good experience. read more

While I thought we had visited every great restaurant in the Berkshires we apparently missed Sibaritas... that is until now. This restaurant is very warm and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Service was attentive and the food was excellent. There were three different lasagnas in the menu. Eggplant Lasagna was a great choice but looking forward to trying the others. Pastas are all fresh and my personal choice was alla Bolognese topped with a sweet fresh ricotta. Homemade meatballs with house prepared San Marzano tomato sauce were a big winner! I could go on but you must visit and let me know what to try on my next visit which will happen sooner than later. Full bar. Easy street parking. read more

Sibaritas - Alla Bolognese - Italian Near Me - Pittsfield, Massachusetts

From the moment you enter this beautiful restaurant found in a quaint bottom floor and Pittsfield, Massachusetts and you know that you are in for something truly amazing. Often called the best restaurant and all of the Berkshires and it is for some reason. The ambience is romantic and personable with red brick walls, romantic lighting, and I inviting interior that makes you wanna sit in and hang out. Outside seating is available when the weather makes sense which in the Berkshires is not most of the year. We sat at the bar and we're lucky enough to have the longtime bartender for John Tapper and I will call him. I'm mixologist as well as a wine store serve in regal us with tales of the restaurant and the menu. When their lead employee has a hard time picking which dish you should try, you know that you're in a really good place and that was the case here from the cocktail menu to the wines to the full build out there is nothing that they could do better in this restaurant from Service to Food everything was impeccable We started with the shrimp dish and I feel bad that I do not remember the name but if you ask anybody, they'll recommend it to you it was a wonderful shrimp set a cream sauce served with a toasted egg that just blew my mind light dusting with a great finish just a wonderful dish Next for dinner, one of the dishes was a homemade pasta with a truffle cream sauce, homemade fennel sausage that just blew your mind and on my plate was the house made lasagna and my house made every single part of the ingredient that made up this wonderful lasagna and then to finish, we had a tiramisu that was potentially one of the best I've ever had and big enough for at least four people I would recommend this every single day one of the better restaurants I've ever been to in the Chef as well as team are out of this world Until next time dine fine read more

We went there with friends on Saturday night and the decor and ambiance was pleasant enough. We were fans of this restaurant in its original location, but the kitchen and wait staffing were quite disappointing. I have a food allergy to black pepper and the kitchen could not accommodate a meal in any reasonable way. I talked with the waitress who carefully checked with the kitchen and there was nothing I could safely eat on their menu. For the salad, I asked for olive oil with lemon and salt on the side as every salad dressing had black pepper in it. I got olive oil and vinegar. Okay, I could deal with that but the salt was not forthcoming and I had to ask for it. The waiter then brought me a combination salt/black pepper grinder which I had to explain that I was allergic to it. I was then brought a small bowl of salt without a spoon so I had to use my fingers to get the pinch of salt. I asked the waitress if the kitchen could just prepare spaghetti with garlic butter and shrimp. What I got was gluey, tepid, severely over salted spaghetti sitting atop of olive oil with a plate of limp basil on the side. The shrimp was forgotten and I had to ask for it. I was then presented with three very small shrimp. The waitress came back several minutes later to see if I needed anything and I had to say, "Yes, I would really love to have a fork!" When the waitress later came back to see how the meal was, I complained about how inedible the spaghetti was due to being over salted. She then said that the spaghetti was not salted. I sent it back and requested that the chef actually taste what I was served and it would be very apparent how salty the spaghetti was. Since I really hadn't had dinner, I decided to try tiramisu, which is a favorite of mine. The tiramisu was obviously not fresh. The cream was congealed from spending too much time in the fridge. The flavor was fussy in an off kind of way which I attributed to the addition of hazelnut flavoring which I found cloying. The presentation of my husband and friends' dinners looked sloppy for a high end restaurant. The portion of my husband's ravioli was tiny with a big price point. Everyone said their food was tasty. The only nice thing I could say was they didn't charge for my meal. The experience was particularly disappointing as we had outstanding meals and service at their previous location. read more

enjoyed our dinner on the outside patio. The waitress was friendly and helpful with our choices. The butternut squash salad was delicious and large enough for 2 or 3 people to share. Chefs calamari was not fried, excellent. We also shared Mushroom Lasagna which was very tasty. Service was a bit slow. We would definitely return. read more

This is definitely my favorite Pittsfield restaurant. We have been maybe 5-6 times now, both at the old and recently the new location. Every time we visit, they are consistent with excellent service. We dined in at the bar last night and despite it being a packed house, they still took great care of us. I had the formaggio, the pasta was cooked perfect, sauce was delicious and cheesy and the shrimp were plentiful and cooked nicely. Loved their white Malbec, I've never heard of it and they let me try a sample first. Love the vibes at the new location, very intimate/cozy. When you sit at the bar to eat you're in the center of all of the hustle and bustle which is fun. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

A very rustic interior, brick walls, cool lighting. Service was outstanding and prompt. The food presentation was perfect. We decided to have dinner at Siberitas while on a trip this Fall. Best decision we made! It's a very unpretentious, cozy restaurant. The staff are all very professional and friendly. The prices are really fair, and the food is amazing! We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was tasty. My husband had the lasagna and said it was delicious. I had the pappardelle formaggi with shrimp, and it was really good. This is definitely a hidden gem, and I recommend making a reservation. read more

A nice hole-in-the-wall find. Small. Cozy. Kinda pricey and the portions are smaller, which is fine. It is elegant and art-like. Good service, overall. We celebrated a birthday, and I was a little shocked they don't offer something small or special for celebrations. They did put a candle into the dessert we already ordered. Not a deal breaker, but something that could have been above and beyond. read more

Clearly a popular spot given the crowd on a Saturday night. They were understaffed when we dined. We waited 20 minutes at our table without sign of a waiter and then had to ask for a server. The salmon and lasagna dishes were very good. read more

This was a lovely and busy Italian restaurant in Pittsfield. Great for a meal before seeing a show at Barrington Stage Company. Very fresh pasta and delicious meat balls. On the advice of our friends at Yelp! We opted to have there dinner before the show "Joan". Said show was amazing btw. The restaurant was excellent. Had the pizza, ravioli in truffled cream, spaghetti bolognese and the eggplant lasagne (the STAR in my opinion). Every dish was perfectly prepared, perfectly seasoned, hot and delicious. Presentations were excellent. Prices were a bit high and service was not so up to par. Iced tea - had to ask for straw, had to ask for sweetener. Pasta had to ask for fresh pepper, had to ask for cheese to sprinkle. But food was good, plentiful and delightful restaurant. I would go back in a minute. And one of the usual issues in the Berkshires: charged for iced tea by the glass. At $3.50 per glass that's a lot of Lipton. If it were home made iced tea, I wouldn't have minded. The waitress tried the blame the bartender. She was savvy enough to charge only for one. No salt or pepper on the table. Excellent food and evening. Real Italian food in a top notch place. read more

How this place has so many stars is beyond me. Maybe their idea of "Italian fusion" is different than what I have in mind. But the food is WAY over priced for what you get. The lettuce in the salad was mostly brown and it didn't even taste as good as bagged salad that you get in a super market. The service was ok at best, I had a clear view of our waitstaff the whole time and she was standing at the computers longer than she was waiting on people. The beef lasagna was awful! It was runny and there was tons of oil. If that's what you like than this is great for you. We also got the 4 cheese shrimp dish, again not very good. Hard to even swallow. The waitress did not even knowledge how little we ate. If you are looking for a great place that is worth the money this is not the place for you. Try RJ's instead. read more

I had high hopes for this place. While I'm still interested to give it a go for breakfast, in particular, we went for dinner to celebrate a family get-together. The location was a little hard to catch from the road but the interior was well decorated and felt upscale. We tried the chef's calamari appetizer, we didn't read too well so gotta say we were expecting the traditionally breaded goodness. The calamari was full of flavor and tender. For dinner, we had ravioli with spicy puttanesca, and my parents each curated their own collage of ingredients to fettuccine. The sauce used for mine tasted reminiscent of the calamari and felt incredibly acidic. The ravioli was a good size but lacked filling that might have better complimented the sauce. My parents agreed their dishes were alright but still disappointed. Italian is one of those dishes most can make at home so I think the expectation of a restaurant version is even higher. My mom's a sucker for dessert, we ordered the pannacotta. It was presented beautifully but was strong in scent and cinnamon flavor in the berries placed on top. We, unfortunately, left feeling rather unsatisfied and a hefty bill nonetheless. We sought dessert at Market 32 not too far away. Would return and give another chance but not the best impression the first time around. read more

This restaurant is in the same place where I worked as a waitress/cook/dishwasher/hostess for 8 years...I haven't been there in twenty+ years. I was struck by how similar and familiar it felt. Although it has been updated, it still has the same feel I remember. The service was friendly, and efficient, and the waitress gave good recommendations because I couldn't decide because so many things sounded good. I decided on a pasta dish, as did my friend. I had three pappardelle with shrimp and my friend had the bolognese. Both were excellent! Homemade pasta and fresh from scratch sauces, with a generous serving of fresh grated Parmesan. I also tried a side order of the spinach in balsamic...fresh lightly sautéed spinach with balsamic...so good! I didn't save room for dessert, but they had a nice selection of tiramisu, carrot cake, and gelato, among other things. Great little neighborhood restaurant. read more

I do not leave negative reviews unless truly warranted....Ordered takeout and was extremely disappointed in the meal. Portions were very small for the price. Sibaritas - Eggplant lasagna (which was a super thin layer at the bottom of the box), el classico pizza (dry and overcooked) and side of broccolini. - Italian Near Me - Pittsfield, Massachusetts

I had a poor experience. Though the service was excellent, the food was poor at best. I had Chicken Parmesan and the chicken was about 1/4 in thick and 4 inches in diameter and it was over cooked, very dry. The servings were very small leaving us hungry when we left. This is a poor selection for the price you pay when there are so many excellent local restaurants to choose from. read more

This is one of our favorite restaurant in the Berkshires. My husband is a foodie and loves, loves the eggplant lasagna, he thinks its the best anywhere, hands down. and orders it every time. I love the caesar salad and the scallops. We always ask for the server Sarah as she is very personable and professional. My husband and I frequent Siberitas often alone and also bring our friends when they come to visit. We will be back again in a couple weeks with another couple. The only negative is having to give a refundable $10 per person deposit when making a reservation. read more

Absolutely terrific! If in Pittsfield, be sure to check out Sibaritas. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. This is a place that prides itself on making good food using the freshest ingredients. Their menu offers a variety of flatbreads, salads, homemade pasta, salads, and sandwiches. Beverage choices include coffees, and nice wine selection. I had the BLT- which was very tasty. Tender applewood bacon, greens, tomatoes on a baked on premise sandwich bun. Perfect lunch! Very disappointing. Was looking forward to trying this restaurant and the meal was Luke warm and not very flavorful.

Service was great but food not so much. Thought both the duck and chicken parm was over cooked.

We love this "Italian inspired" menu. They don't pretend it's authentic Italian and it's all so good. The new spot has a romantic atmosphere. Maybe a little chilly by the brick. We had the De Le Nonna which was perfectly cooked pasta and lovely light creamy sauce. The Bolognese Lasagna was tasty but the pasta was a bit over cooked. Limoncello Tartufo for dessert was perfectly lemony with a crunch and not too sweet. The services were obviously well trained. We enjoyed a romantic date night. read more

Great ambiance and wonderful food. They use only good oils and butter. They are consistently good. We will come back often.

Went because our friends who were dining with us like the place. Now located in the basement of an office building, Sybaritas is deafeningly loud. There is absolutely no sound proofing. Wife needed earplugs. Couldn't eat outside on the terrace because it had rained. Waiters are pleasant but service is extreeeeeemly slow. My salchi mushroom lasagna was glermy; pasta not al dente; sausage shredded. Lentil soup was o.k. As we were leaving, we met another couple outside who left because they had sat for a half hour with no-one paying any attention to them. We will not go back. read more
