I ordered a take out dinner for 6. The food was ready on time and Frank brought to the car. Several hours later I reheated the food. the dinner was spectacular from the salad to the eggplant parmigiana, the chick parmigiana, the pastas and his delicious bread that is home made. If you are in the area just call and work out whatever you want with Frank. He is extremely flexible. My grandkids, young adults want me to order again or just go for wings and pizza. Whether you bring it home or eat in the food is memorable. Brooklys Best is the Best. read more

The pizza was VERY good. The price was a bit higher than o expected, but worth it after tasting it. We got take out, so I can only comment on the phone ordering and pick up...both were effective and efficiently executed. The restaurant itself, which I could only see from outside, was very small, just a few tables, and included a deli-like counter which gives it a very casual counter service feel. The decor looks like an Italian deli. The pizza is huge. We are a family of 4 adults, and the owner recommended two pizzas, but it way too much food. One would have been enough for four adults. The pizza was very a medium thickness, a good amount of sauce, perfect of amount of cheese, and cooked crispy. read more

The food is simply the best! Great sized portions and delicious tasteful foods of all kinds. The pizzas are really awesome with the awesome hand tossed dough, quality cheeses and good flavorful toppings. The handmade mozzarella sticks, chicken Parmesan, pastas, fettuccine Alfredo, and chicken are so delicious! This place is a must try... slightly more expensive than your typical places but every bit worth the price because of better cuts of meats, ingredients, homemade sauces and amazing quality food. read more

I will be back! The owner is so kind and helpful. What great customer service! I wanted the pizza to be really good! The toppings were yummy. But, the crust . . . . The crust was airy, but could have used more crispy crunch. Next time, I will ask it "well done." Thank you. I will be back. read more

Order this all the time. Would rank THE best pizza in the Berkshires. All my friends know this is the only place to get pizza from. Their pizzas are untouchable. Pricey but worth it read more

We ordered delivery from here and got their margherita fresco pizza and the power green salad. The salad's vinaigrette was good, but there were way too many tomato wedges and the tomatoes themselves were not great (it was early March -- I wasn't expecting good tomatoes). It would have been better to leave those off. The pizza was excellent -- good cheese, good fresh basil, a tasty sauce and a solid crust. We would definitely get that pizza again. We also ordered some italian wedding soup. It was hearty and delicious. The addition of chicken was nice and all of the flavors worked well together. As I said, we did delivery, so I can't comment on the ambience or service, but the food was very good. read more

The fact that I have been a Berkshire country resident the majority of my life and I just went for the first time the other day blows my mind! Every single thing we got was incredible! i have never liked tiramisu and now im obsessed! but only theirs!!! Not only is the food wonderful but they are so nice! you feel like family immediately. They take tremendous pride in their customer service and the quality of their food. I could taste the quality in everything we tried. Hands down best in berkshire county and beyond. It's small but cozy. My husband and I are now obsessed! I'm not sure I'll ever cook again! read more

Brooklyn's Best - Quiet cozy atmosphere with beautiful Italian music in the backround - Pizza Near Me - Pittsfield, Massachusetts

The pizza is average , I would go back for the meals that I haven't had yet . Hopefully next time it's a better experience

Pizza was amazing! I especially loved thend ouble cheese pizza. I grew up eating Chicago thin crust with lots of cheese and sauce and cut into squares, and have now lived in NY for the last 12 years. This pizza at Brooklyn's Best was chewy and delicious and unique and perfect. Arugula salad had too much dressing and was not worth the cost. read more

So far, I preferred the Margherita Fresco Pizza. It is as good as Baba Louie's or dare I say better. The tiramisu is the best dessert to treat yourself after a tough shift or tough work week. I might even like it better than Berkshire Mtn Bakery (although their topping flavor combos reign supreme) . . . It costs about twice as much as a chain pizza shop, but it's worth it. It's so fresh. read more

This little gem is amazing. We are from Texas and are in Pittsfield because of a death in the family. We had a really tough day and called to see if they were open. Frank and his wife invited us in and fed us a spectacular meal. The food is the best authentic Italian we've eaten. The fresh made pasta and sausage sauce are beyond amazing. The good food and thoughtful service made a bad day good. We are grateful. read more

Tried the pizza and meatballs with a small group of four. Table seating outside was nice and they do table service. Very friendly staff and accommodating, even brought out a dog bowl for the puppy. The pizza is a more traditional style pizza but for what it is I think it's a bit pricey. Note traditional cheese is light sauce and medallions of mozzarella spread through so if you are looking for a cheesy slice this is not it. Meatballs were delicious - sauce was average. read more

I had the burrata and the sausage grinder and it was amazing. Good portion sizes, it will definitely fill you up. The staff was wonderful, even let us sample some amaretto gelato (which was also amazing). They also educated us on their dinner menu, which I also want to try ASAP. The only negative was the hours are a little weird.. they don't have a set schedule, you have to call and see if they're open. Other than that this is a must try, one of the best lunch spots in Berkshire County. read more

We ordered sausage classic pizza which more than fed 2 kids and 1 adult. Amazing. Spinach ravioli and wings were insane. Jabanero had just the right kick without being too much. Wife enjoyed arugula salad. I'd give it 6 stars if possible. read more

Wow! I finally got there and I should have gotten my butt there sooner! I had been drooling as I followed them on insta for awhile. Now I can say the pictures match the taste. If you want a sandwich or grinder that you can really sink your teeth in, try this place. The picture I took doesn't do the grinders justice. The parking is tough and there is only a few seats but compared to the quality of food these two are producing stands little chance of standing in the way of people returning! Can't wait to try the pizza next read more

Cooking Italian style, i.e.: fresh, quality ingredients, prepared so that the flavor of the ingredients shines thru. We split an arugula salad, fresh, organic arugula, heirloom tomatoes, olives, simply dressed with balsamic. Delicious. We then had a homemade pasta with the house sauce, which is made with sweet and hot sausage (house made), peas and a little cream. Really good. We then had a meat lovers pie, which we barely dented as the other courses were quite large. The food was delicious, the service friendly. We'll be back. Be advised, this is more of a butcher/Italian deli with a couple of tables. So if you can't eat in, you can get all the ingredients to go, and cook it yourself. read more

Absolutely fantastic. Rare in these parts. ordered delivery, they had the food ready and out the door in record time. Door dash dropped the ball and delivered the food late after going to the wrong address. this had nothing to do with the restaurant at all and it wasn't even close to their fault. When I called brooklyn's to let them know, the owner spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me before vowing to get me a refund. After he spent a half hour on the phone with DoorDash he called me back at midnight to let me know that I was getting a full refund. After that, as if he hadn't already done enough, he offered me a cannoli the next time I come in. I couldn't possibly accept it. It's wonderful to find people and establishments like this. this is how I treat my customers, and you can tell the guy is passionate about his craft. Thank you very much sir, and even though the food was cold, it was still fantastic so we will absolutely be coming back....in person next time! read more

Simply the best Italian food in town, hands down. The pastas are homemade and fresh. The sauces are all intricately crafted. I have never been dissatisfied with any dish here, truly one of the best restaurants in the area. read more

Pizza was quite dry considering I asked for extra sauce on all three that I ordered. Disappointed with this try.

Ordered from DoorDash last night. Yeah, it's expensive. You know what else is expensive? Running a restaurant in 2022. We got a plain cheese pie, cavatelli with red sauce, and fettuccine Alfredo, and everything was solid. The pastas were huge portions but still high quality on par with what the better restaurants in the North End (Boston) do. Red sauce had a bright and fresh taste, the Alfredo was maybe a little under seasoned but not much and had a good consistency, not gluey or floury like you get when they stretch it with cheap stuff. The pizza was solid, very minimally sauced and cheesed but good balance. People used to garbage chain pizza might say it needs more but to each their own I guess. You decide if it's worth paying for but I'd say it's definitely a step up quality wise. read more

Our first of what will be many visits! Frank and Valentina are wonderful to talk with and are committed to giving an experience of delicious food made with the best ingredients. We went for the pizza (which we really enjoyed) and also left with cavatelli, gnocchi and sauce to prepare a meal at home. Frank added a loaf of rustic bread and grated Parmesan cheese to complete our meal. We couldn't leave without desserts of cannoli, cheesecake and tiramisu. Everything fresh and homemade, every bite delicious. A real slice of Brooklyn in downtown Pittsfield. A must go to establishment. read more

Really great Grandma Pizza but at $25 for six square slices it's very overpriced for the area. $17.50 and I'd be a regular.

A few years ago after a long day of skiing my Husband and I were wandering the streets of Pittsfield looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon Brooklyn's Best and decided to go in and check it out. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly face and a warm smile. The man behind the counter welcomed us in and began telling us about all the delicious items on the menu and we couldn't resist. The food and hospitality were absolutely amazing. We felt as though we were dining with Family. That was one of the most memorable dinners we have ever had. So memorable that we keep going back and have never been disappointed. Truly amazing food every time! read more

Sorry, if this is Brooklyn's best, I will stick with Boston North End! Ordered a sausage pizza. The dough was soggy and tough - it should probably have been cooked a few more minutes. The homemade sausage had a strong fennel taste and appeared to have been browned in a pan then added to the pie. Also very expensive. $28 for a meat pizza and two cans of Coke - I don't think so. read more

AMAZING pizza!! We were a little reluctant initially because it was on the pricey side for a pie, but it is truly better than almost any pizza we've had! Amazing high quality ingredients -- loved the cheese that they used! Definitely beyond worth it. read more

Brooklyns Best was a Bust. I wanted to like this place but right off the bat I was turned off. Called for reservations, a few days prior, granted it was for a Saturday but I felt dismissed by the gentleman who kinda suggested I wouldn't want to pay the $75 a head after a certain time which was not an issue for me. They could not accommodate any of the times I suggested for reservations, even seeing if Friday was available. He couldn't even give me a time they open as well, saying they open at all different times depending on the day or their mood I suppose. Interesting. Thank god though we didn't pay the " hefty" price cause the food was mid. We decided to do take out since they could not accommodate our party of 4. Pastas had a couple tablespoons at most of sauce on them like a small child might eat. The mozzarella en carozza was basically white bread fried with crappy mozzarella. It was so hard I could have used it as a deadly weapon. Meatballs meh. Eggplant greasy. And the kicker when my husband picked up the food and spoke/ schmoozed with the man, he's like oh we could have accommodated you if he knew we weren't from around here and from NYC. He also said the food/menu is different inside the restaurant including Peter Luger steaks. No thanks, I'll just go to Luger's and have Italian back home. And the kicker, empty tables when we picked up our order. So why couldn't he just give us a reservation when I initially called? read more

Sorry, but $15 for a just a Italian hero sandwich with peppers and onions ain't right. No drink, no side, no cheese. But the sandwich was pretty good. Should be 10 bucks, max, more like $7.50. This ain't Brooklyn. I also don't trust places that can't offer a paper receipt. read more

Brooklyns best is completely genuine and offers real Italian food. Having traveled around large parts of Italy, something about this place really does remind me of the many restaurants I've eaten at in Italy. They have a changing menu, and I was able to try their pizza, grilled zucchini, arugula salad and grilled sea bass finished with white wine. Everything was excellent, and at bargain prices. They do not serve alcohol but they told us we could bring our own bottle of wine to go with dinner, which is awesome. I saw that there were homemade desserts, which I have totally added to my list and will have to try sometime. I would advise calling ahead of you have your heart set of eating there. There is literally one table and like 4 barstool window seats. I saw them have to turn down multiple groups just because there wasn't room. I hope they utilize the space and arrange a few smaller tables, as I think they could totally accommodate it! I hated seeing them lose the business since it was so good! Can't wait to go back! read more

Our new favorite in Pittsfield! Walking in the door we were greeted by Frank. He was friendly and welcoming. The weather was perfect so we opted to sit at one of the outside tables. We started off with homemade mozzarella and tomatoes with an awesome imported Soppressata and balsamic reduction. We decided to share an entree of eggplant parmigiana. The pasta was sauced perfectly and the eggplant was the best I've had. We overheard Frank describing his goal to keep things fresh and simple. He has hit the mark. We were treated at the end to a taste of amaretto gelato which was as good as any we had on a recent trip to Florence. Prices were reasonable and we are looking forward to our next visit. If your looking for authentic this is the place. read more

I went in last week. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and the chef obviously had great pride in his food. The menu, or lack of menu, was a little confusing. Pizza was fantastic, an authentic pie in the Berkshires! But 2 slices of sausage pizza and a can of Diet Coke cost $14.98! Not a misprint, $14.98. A little too steep to make it my daily lunch spot. read more

We read an article in the local paper introducing this new restaurant. It sounded interesting and we decided to try it. I called this am and asked if we could reserve 1 of their 2 tables. The owners said of course. He said the restaurant is BYOB. We arrived for our dinner. The menu was presented orally with lots of choices. It was suggested we share a 4 course dinner as the portions were large. Perfect. We had an arugula salad with tiny heirloom tomatoes, colossal black olives and a wonderful dressing. Next course was a caprese salad with more wonderful tomatoes and mozzarella and bacon. The next course was the best spaghetti and meatballs I have ever had. Dessert was a small but delicious cannoli. We will definitely go back to try the rest of his specials. This is a delightful addition to downtown Pittsfield. read more

Just came in for two eggplant grinders, wish I had gotten something else, they were $12 each. There was only two thin slices of eggplant on each side, it was very dry, no extra sauce or even cheese baked on the top, two grinders for $25 not worth it... wouldn't go back. I don't think this place will survive with these prices, especially if they aren't giving you much for what you pay. read more
