2 slices of cheese
Raya V.

Passing thru town during COVID19, this was one of the only places in Pittsfield that we could grab a slice. Found them on YELP. Thank goodness we did because it was a nice, clean spot in a little shopping plaza. We're from NY so maybe a little bias, but the pizza was definitely good. I liked the huge slices. I'm used to slice specials being from NY, but they didn't have any. It didn't matter though because the slices were reasonably priced. Paid about $6+ for two HUGE cheese slices. This will definitely be one of our go-to oizza spots when we are in the area.

Soggy bread old meat that was probably sitting there all day and because they were close to closing they shipped it off to me disgusting

I come up with the assumption that this business doesn't care about deliveries and they only put effort into in-store order ordered Vivaldi's last night .... since moving to Pittsfield from Boston it would be my fourth time eating at this establishment! The first time was OK not the greatest I got a plain cheese pizza rate 3.5 Second time was disgusting I got two subs the chicken fingers in my sub were very fatty and couldn't be chewed ... they came back picked it up and brought me a new sub and I got an Italian this time instead and that was even worse than the chicken finger...: the meat was jus horrible but I'll take into account that it was late in the end of the night perhaps they didn't wanna open anything new from my little old sub! My wife's rap was just terrible and just all in all the experience was just bad bad we didn't eat it at all The guy said he would give me a credit to use next time I want to order after 10 minutes of discussion and him originally being hesitant to do anything for me... The stipulation would be I would have to come pick it up because he's not going to deliver to me a free order I agreed because I didn't have much of a choice! I waited a good two months before deciding to use the credit and give them another shot so two weeks ago I went and got a chicken Parm calzone mind you In Boston that is a very popular choice and I figured how could they go wrong with a chicken Parm calzone granted when I got the sub before the chicken was not the greatest but like I said it was the end of the night so I took that into account and ordered a calzone earlier in the night .... the calzone was delicious and truly great!! The manager was super nice and I take back everything I have my terrible experience the first two times and enjoyed myself with such a great tasty calzone my only problem was they don't make chicken Parm calzone is out here in fact they never even heard of it told me that they could put the sauce on the side which was fine I really didn't care too much for it just found it strange that no one gets it out here but neither here or there we were back in business with each other and I was appreciative so now last night I ordered and got the same thing and let me just tell you it was like a whole new place made this calzone it was truly disgusting and worse than all of my experiences and I'm not sure if it was because The last time I got the calzone the manager himself made it for me and he wanted to make sure there was no issues I hate to be that guy that always has a problem but this was legitimately a problem the calzone had way too much cheese I mean there was so much cheese that it was nauseating i'm going to post a picture of it it's fine to have extra cheese if I requested it but I wanted a plain chicken Parm calzone and since you guys don't have chicken Parm on the menu I want to just chicken and cheese and sauce on the side like I was told Instead of calling and making a complaint again I'd rather just not even deal with them anymore I'm not gonna go through the wall embarrassment of coming in and getting a credit If you are the owner or manager and you see this I think you should really get things together with your employees because the non care to customers is awful I can Boston are used to get takeout two times a week due to work not having time to cook for my kids so you're losing a lot of business because I don't like to go to a bunch of different places and I like to stick with one business if you'd like my business back and you see this maybe you can contact me and see if we can resolve this someway otherwise I give up as far as the calzone I'm not going to eat it I'm just going to throw in the trash

She was friendly and professional from the moment we arrived until we left, making us feel truly appreciated as guests. We shared our favorite cocktail, the Lavender Lemon Drop, which was once again fresh, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we ordered the Filet Mignon Meatballs. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parm served with linguine, and I had the Shrimp Parm with linguine. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service from our server this time was not as attentive as it was during our visit two months ago with a different server. While the hostess provided outstanding, and courteous service, the same could not be said of our server. The difference in the level of hospitality was noticeable and somewhat disappointing. Overall, we still enjoyed another delicious meal.

The restaurant ambiance is a traditional nice dark wood and brass trim environment. We decided to order their grilled Halibut special over potato gnocchi. Very Delicious. As for their service, that was the weak point of the meal. Our server was not very friendly and customer driven. When we noticed other tables being taken care of more professionally, an example was when we asked for some EVOO for our bread and the server brings us an oil/vinegar rack used for salads. Other tables were given their special EVOO garlic upgrade. Overall the food was prepared perfectly by their kitchen culinary staff. Thank you. They do need to work with this one server because she was not their shining star.

Having traveled around large…read moreparts of Italy, something about this place really does remind me of the many restaurants I've eaten at in Italy. They have a changing menu, and I was able to try their pizza, grilled zucchini, arugula salad and grilled sea bass finished with white wine. Everything was excellent, and at bargain prices. They do not serve alcohol but they told us we could bring our own bottle of wine to go with dinner, which is awesome. I saw that there were homemade desserts, which I have totally added to my list and will have to try sometime. I would advise calling ahead of you have your heart set of eating there. There is literally one table and like 4 barstool window seats. I saw them have to turn down multiple groups just because there wasn't room. I hope they utilize the space and arrange a few smaller tables, as I think they could totally accommodate it! I hated seeing them lose the business since it was so good! Can't wait to go back!

This Italian cafe, cucina, & lounge has a large, very nice outdoor seating area (inside seating also). Very attentive waiter but didn't get the young man's name. We had a variety of classic Italian entrees ($20-25). Five house made ravioli dishes ($20-24). All familiar to diners who like Italian styles cuisine, and appreciate high quality & presentation. It's a nice looking place and the atmosphere was good…read more The food was sad. I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana. My grandson ordered chicken fingers and fries. My dish was chicken parmigiana covered in red sauce with cheese, a decent amount of cheese (no complaint about that) His dish was breaded chicken breast and french fries. When I tried cutting into my chicken, it was tough! They only gave me a butter knife to cut the Chicken Parmigiana but chicken breast is supposed to be tender. I'm sawing away at something rough tough, like using the butter knife to cut a piece of leather or a hunk of tree bark. I kept looking over at his breaded chicken breasts---hmmm? I scraped off the red sauce and I had the same breaded chicken breasts that he had---mine looked like they were precooked (we had arrived just at noon) . The server mentioned we could order anything off the breakfast, lunch or dinner menu. Having worked in kitchens many times in my life, my take is they had a bunch of precooked breasts from the day before in the walk-in unit, slapped one down reheated it, ladled the sauce, melted the cheese. Additionally--the salad that came with my meal--it was likely laid on the plate before the chicken--the chicken, sauce was simply plopped over 1/3 of the salad. My wife's pizza looked "ok". This is an attractive place, ambiance good, very polite attentive server--- but the food is just an inch above the old local sub shop and pizza places inhabiting Massachusetts and Upstate New York---

Warm beautiful dining room with a wood burning fireplace, with a fire going, on a chilly night. Ann, our server was perfect. Perfect timing and flow, gave us recommendations and bussed empty glasses and plates every pass. They start you off with warm fresh Italian bread and a bean salad. Both were tasty and they also said popovers are coming. Another staff appeared with a piping hot fresh baked basket of popovers and gave us each one. It didn't even need butter. Amazing. It felt like being in a bakery in Italy or Europe. Next, our apps and salads arrived. The calamari was tasty, as was the mushroom beignets. I wasn't used to this style of mushroom caps but boy were they delicious. The salad was tasty and came with fresh homemade bread bits as croutons. Everyone at the table enjoyed the apps, the popovers, and our entree. The specials list and deserts sounded wonderful but it was just so much food, we were full. A+ all around and I will be going back soon.

Our food fell on it's face. We went based on a personal recommendation and backed by YELP reviews. This was my first big disappointment on YELP. We ordered bruschetta and meatballs for apps. Bruschetta was a bit too charred but ok. Meatballs arrived.... Gray balls sitting on ricotta and oil with an herb and shallot crumble. Meatballs were meh and topping was bitter like burnt garlic and onion. Table bread, delicious. Beverages, delicious. Entrees we were split 50/50. Eggplant parm was very tasty and red sauce tasted fresh and well seasoned. My chicken marsala with creamy polenta was very disappointing. Instead of marsala forward it tasted of mushroom gravy, chicken dry with hard edges and polenta you could cut and chase chunks around the plate. Not a bit like polenta should be. Dessert was warm ricotta cake with gelato. Gelato was essential to this dessert as the lemon sauce was so intensely tart and sour it was near inedible without some buffering by the gelato. Value wise it would have been a fairly pricey meal by our standards even if the food was good. However price point is more palatable when the food is.
