Celebration of Life for my beautiful mom!
    Jennifer A.

I cannot say enough great things about Zucchini's. We had my mom's celebration of life there on May 17, 2025 and the staff were outstanding, not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. My family, who attended the celebration, could not say enough great things either. Thank you for making our Celebration, for our mom, that much more amazing! ~ Jennifer Albrecht

Decent Italian restaurant, nothing extraordinary, but a typical family restaurant. Service is friendly and quick, and the portions are large. Would have loved a little bit more finesse with the pasta or even just some freshly shaved parmesan and cracked pepper on top.

My review has not changed. Actually, the one dish that I enjoyed, a half chicken, had become so small, I think it had become a half chick.

The restaurant was able to accommodate our family of 14 and serve us with ease and speed which was a plus! Easy parking in a lot down the block which is free on evenings and weekends. It was all edible, but there were problems with every single thing we ordered. We started with the marinated mushroom & sausage flatbread: one of the better items and fairly tasty with a tomato sauce base, could have used a tart element like a balsamic drizzle to wake it up a bit. My husband got the Korean bbq burger, which at $27 was honestly a bit insane and doubly so when it wasn't good. There's not a single thing that was wrong, the whole conception is an epic fail. A beef burger should not have an intense taste of soy. Sorry, harsh but true. The exorbitant price is insult to injury. The ham and cheese croquettes should never have been offered with the cinnamon sugar dusting. Another bizarre pairing that makes no sense in your mouth and adds nothing. The dijonnaise was good if a bit mild... amp up the savory flavor and put more ham in the mix with a touch more salt please. Finally, the Public Salad was a good base but needs a bit of a vinegar component to make it sing. I'd recommend red wine vinegar, just a small splash in the dressing. Overall enjoyed it and the chicken was adequately moist. Thank you for having us.

We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant has an elegant, refined atmosphere, with crisp white tablecloths adding to its classic setting. We began with a pistachio martini, which was creamy, smooth, and delicious. Our server, Caylah T., graciously went over the evening's specials with us. She was pleasant, attentive, and professional throughout the meal, making the experience all the more enjoyable. For appetizers, we chose the red and yellow beet salad with arugula from the evening's specials. It was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. We also shared the tempura coconut shrimp, which was wonderfully flavorful. Four perfectly prepared shrimp were served over a small accompanying salad with a delicious coconut sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. It was an outstanding appetizer and one of the highlights of our meal. For our entrées, Hubby enjoyed the organic salmon, while I chose the seafood fra diavolo. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. My seafood fra diavolo was particularly satisfying, with fresh-tasting seafood and a wonderful balance of flavors. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience, and will certainly return the next time we're in the area.

In the beginning, as it was a plain, typical weekday evening, business was slower and it took a bit for anyone to come greet my party and I until we got seated. It was not at all a lengthy time, just enough to twiddle your thumbs and look around, waiting. For the price, the food is really mediocre and I'd say avoid eating here if you're accustomed to good food. If not! Go ahead, it's not bad, just okay, maybe overpriced albeit everything is expensive in this day and age. I could be wrong, I'm not a chef, but the vegetables tasted frozen and reheated alongside the mashed potatoes ... resembling instant in terms of its taste. (Take the potato part with a grain of salt because I'm not confident on that as a fact) Steak was definitely Choice grade ... maybe half the price. Cooked well at least. Chicken was rubbery with a rather subpar taste; it reminded me of the chicken Parmesan at Olive Garden and I didn't even get that... it has that particular 'flavor' to it. I really like chicken, I like it more than any other meat, yet I couldn't finish their sautéed dish. The table bread at the beginning reminds me of the microwaveable garlic 'rolls' you can buy at your local supermarket. It probably is frozen... Also, the food came out room temperature even if the bottom of the plate was warm/hot. Still want to mention that my server was so incredibly affable and that's really why I chose 2 stars instead of 1! Not that it makes that much of a difference... Can't believe this place apparently gets booked up Saturday nights.

This may be the smallest diner we've visited (one of them, at least) but it makes up for that in quality and attention to the customers. A few booths and a few tables on the right, a half dozen stools at the counter, and the magic shop along the left wall. There's a bit of counter / bench, a sink, a prep area, a cooktop, and a grill. It's clean, efficient, and full of friendly people (staff and locals). The breakfast menu is simple: eggs, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, and the usual sides. We got 2 eggs over easy, one with bacon, one with sausage, home fries, and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly (they look more done in the photo but were nicely runny) and the bacon was crisp and smoky. I didn't get to try my be wife's sausage, but (a) that itself says something and (b) she said it was really good, not the "supermarket" grade that some places serve. Coffee was good, staff were all super friendly - I would definitely go there again.

Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there.
