Ordered a couple roast beefs and onion rings for pick up. There's not a ton of parking there so i circled the building for about ten minutes for a spot. Got the food brought it home my sandwich wasn't wrapped well so there was beef in the bag. Opened it and it was drenched in bbq sauce. That's all i could taste. The sandwich didmt seem to even be assembled, just the ingredients rolled like a cigarette in the paper. So I checked out Blue House for the first time recently. I will say the roast beef onion roll sandwich was huge and delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the food there and took it home. When I got home, I realized that the side of onion rings were not in the bag. I did call them and they would'be had have someone bring them to me. I am about 25 mins drive from them so I told them I would stop by and pick up the refund money due to them not being able to refund the amount on my CC. They did correct the issue with a refund, to bad it was not in the bag when I left the place. In all at some point I will give them another try. read more

I can only review their roast beef because it is the only thing that I've ever gotten on their menu because it is that good probably my favorite roast beef in the area as long as you get it nice and rare. Ordered recently and it was horrible. A few weeks back I ordered and it wasn't bad. That order consisted of a Roast Beef sandwich and a small pizza. That meal was pretty decent. The most recent order however was FAIL. Steak and Cheese sub had no flavor at all. $11 chicken tender dinner, way too expensive for cheap chicken that was rubbery and the onion rings were just falling apart. Veggie delight as a wrap, not so good either. All together 30 bucks for a bad meal. Will not order from again. There is better pizza and subs around in my opinion. read more

Tonight I had the worst experience. I called for a take out order of a large cheese pizza & a calzone. They said 20-25 min, cool. Walked in, the place was obliviously busy but I had a take out order. Went to the counter paid & they brought out my calzone, said pizza would be right out, 3x went back & got same response; "Be right out". By this time the calzone has been sitting on top of the oven becoming a ham & cheese brick. Almost an hour after I placed my order & 30 min after they said my order was to be ready I finally got my food. Nothing from the staff except for a token "Sorry". I understand it was a Friday night & they were busy but I called ahead & Blue House Pizza quoted me a time which was not even close. Staying with Sal's Pizza right down the street. When you call them with an order & they give you a time for your order & it is ready when they say it is. It does not matter if it is Monday or Friday, it is ready. Very nice people, very good product. They are very generous in their portions. Everything there tastes great especially the fish dinner. My favorite is the eggplant pizza which is always good. But when they get busy they tend to get overwhelmed and confuse the orders. But they always make it up to you. You never leave disappointed.The only drawback is that when it snows they do not deliver. read more

The beef at Blue House is better than any I've tasted in the Boston area. Be aware the the Super is "Super big." You'll find it hard to finish a medium. Just moved to town and could not help but notice the "blue house" we had tried other places in town that were not so good but then finally decided to try the "blue house". And so glad we did! The pizza is the best we have had in years in fact it reminded my husband and me of a little place we used to go to 30 years ago and until now had never had pizza as good! Called in to get sizes before ordering and woman on phone was extremely polite and answered after only one ring. When I did call back to order I got a gentleman who was also very polite and picked up after only two rings and took my order perfectly, despite obvious sounds of people around him; even read my order back to me and got someone to call back within 3 minutes to give me a total of my order. They also had no problem customizing orders for those in my party, or delivering to my address. They gave me an accurate time frame for the amount of food we ordered, which was 45 minutes; and it arrived within the time frame promptly. The delivery man was nice and friendly, and totally earned his well-deserved tip. The portion sizes were huge, which was a pleasant surprise after having ordered from chain places. All of my party were making jokes about how big their calzones were, stating that one could feed two people easily. Their food was quite good, and they make a very nice pasta dish. My roommates seemed to enjoy their subs thoroughly, and my husband enjoyed his giant calzone as well; all in all a nice dinner and worth every penny. And yes, while this place may seem a tad expensive in some regards; the portion sizes, friendly people, and good food more than make up for it.
