ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nobody ever wants to have to deal with a roof leak, but if you find yourself in the same position I was, do yourself a favor and call Randy with Hudson Valley Roofers. He was quick and responsive, answered all our questions and came back on more than one occasion when storms knocked our tarping off the roof and threatened to increase our water damage. Yay, Valley Oil! Boo on you, Mazzola! Their oil truck drove off my driveway, got stuck in my lawn, and created huge ruts. A tow truck came, also got stuck in my lawn, and created more huge ruts. A bigger tow truck came and freed the oil truck. The Mazzola driver drove off, leaving the tow truck driver and me to fix the big mess, which involved more than an hour of shoveling and raking, leaving me covered in sweat, shaking, and with my elbow tendonitis severely aggravated. I asked Steffen at Mazzola for 1k to split with the tow truck driver, who gave me his cell phone number and said he would return with soil and seeds in the spring. Steffen called it extortion and said he would hire a landscaper to fix the lawn. The last thing I want is for this company to hire someone else to come on my property and screw around. Then Steffen had the nerve to say it was my fault that the driver got stuck because my driveway is icy. It's winter! If they can't control their trucks in winter, they should stay off people's property. I sure wish they had stayed off mine, and I guarantee they won't be coming anywhere near it in the future.

Then Rob told me "I worry too much" on a subsequent call that I made. They never contacted me until then one month in their shop came up with a bill of $4500 when I didn't intend on paying more than $1500. Why not make it $12,000.00 or 20k? Any price they wanted. So I paid because they wouldn't give me the machine. Then the machine was returned to me. The tracks didn't work right. They came and repaired and left. Then they came back again because it was leaking still. They fixed that leak then left. It's still leaking and $2500 dollars later I have a machine that still leaks. Then they told me they didn't want to do business with me any more after coming to look at the last leak which isn't fixed. We briefly discussed my project and he determined it would be best for someone to come out and take a look. A gentlemen named Frank came and spent about 2 hours with me going over all of my options. I have to note no other company I called was willing to send someone out to meet with me. I received the estimate about 48 hours later accompanied with a call by Joe explaining it thoroughly. Work began on my project approximately 3 weeks later and was completed within two weeks. The installation crew was professional and courteous.
