I used their service with u-haul's u-box, where you pack a box, let it remain in storage at Wadeson's and then ship it when you're ready. After about a month and a half of storage, I had them ship the box to CA. I soon received a padlock key in an envelope in the mail from Wadeson's with no explanation (keep in mind that you lock the box with your own padlock, for which I alone had the key). When the box eventually arrived, it was a completely different box, half-full. Hence, the new padlock key. I packed my box to the brim and I was able to walk into this box. Everything of value was missing. My professional musical gear, my snowboard gear, electronics, amplifier, an amazing record collection, clothing. I'm still realizing what was missing. My whole life was in that box. Only after I contacted them did they tell me that my box had fallen off a forklift and broke. They said they packed everything neatly into the new box, but this was clearly not true. They were extremely sketchy and apparently had no security footage, never made an inventory, and most importantly, never contacted me. U-haul insurance gave my a paltry $2k to cover all of this gear after a lengthly experience finding old receipts and creating an inventory. It was all worth sooo much more. I will never go to Wadeson's again.

Used them so often when they were in the Playtogs plaza in Middletown. Were there literally…read moreseveral times per week to test water and buy supplies and accessories. They always seemed kind and professional, never seemed to be scammers (like Royal Pools but that's a diff story). This went on for 6 years no problems, whatsoever. Last year we needed a new liner. We called them because they were our "go-to" place and we trusted them! End of August they replaced the whole liner, pump, filter, added a $400 ladder, etc. This was a lot more money than we budgeted for but they convinced us it was a worthy investment to just change everything out. I was working from home with a jam-packed schedule so I couldn't check in on them when they installed everything. They said I had to have a plumber come out to turn the salt cell on. I found that strange because we'd never had to do that before but I was so busy I didn't have time to ask questions. I will say they said the whole install would take 4 hours. They completed it in 2. I thought that was great until I went to go see their work after they left. I realized the stairs were assembled but not in the water. they said once the pool was all the way filled they would come back to put it in. Sounded weird but I've never had a whole new pool essentially installed before. When I called them to put the ladder in, they were less than pleased apparently to even do it. I called several times AND stopped in to ask them to please complete the installation. Two men came out, did a half-assed job. It was later in the season and summer of '22 was not warm enough to swim into Sept so I didn't even realize that they put the ladder in the pool but never put sand in it. They simply put two 40lb bags of sand on the bottom piece so the ladder would stay on the bottom of the pool. These $400 steps were not only NOT installed properly, they were also missing two of the four plugs for the holes where the sand was supposed to be filled -_-. Here we are a new season and the wall where the intake jet is attached is pulling away from the plug. Pool won't hold water above the skimmer so we can't run the filter. I've called twice already and no answer. This whole job has been a nightmare. I'm terribly disappointed in them and their aftercare lack of customer service. To water test and buy chemicals, they were great. For installations and customer service I would implore you, DO NOT HIRE THEM Almost $3000 and less than a year later we have a pool that isn't functioning properly. What a scam and terrible, uncaring customer service.

I set up an appointment for the pool opening service. They cancelled the first one, unknown to me…read more When I requested another appointment, they didn't have one for almost a 2-3 weeks. So I accepted the new date because everyone else had a similar timeframe. Fast forward to the day before the scheduled appointment, I called just to confirm and they assured me they were all set for tomorrow. Well when, the day came......no call, no show for the A.M. I called about noon and was told they would definitely be there that day and that they would call me back with an ETA......which they never did. I called back the next morning and they apologized and said they would be out today and that they would call me with an ETA. By noon when I didn't get a call, I called back and they said they tried to reach me but couldn't get through. They asked for a different number, so they can reach out to the team and call me back, so I gave them my wife's number, which they never called either of us. Finally on the third day they again said they would have to call me back because they need to speak to the team that opens the pool, I just said never mind and cancelled the service. As a rule of thumb, if it's hard for me to get good service when Im trying to pay you..........it will be even worse if I ever need you to remedy a problem.
