The pandemic slowed down everything. But everything changed after we visited Kuiken Brothers in Wantage, NJ. The first person we met was Judy Radl. Even though we came without an appointment, she took her time to introduce us to the companies they work with. The moment we saw Mauser painted cabinets, we fell in love with their product. The countertop that Judy picked for us was gorgeous (we couldn't have picked better). We had to wait a couple months to meet Beverly Van Stone , designer at the Wantage showroom, but it was worth it. Beverly created for us a beautiful and more functional kitchen. All our questions were answered, we never felt rushed. The cabinets came on time, which is rare this days. Like any other project, we have some little problems to solve, but we have Beverly and Judy who took most of the stress off our backs. The kitchen is almost done and looks better and better as we get to the end of our project. We would highly recommend Beverly Van Stone and Judy Radl . They are amazing !!!! The door was too wide by 1/4'', so it won't close. I told the counter person and he said I should have known to size the door 1/4''smaller than the frame. He's supposed to be the expert, not me. He told me he would have to charge me almost as much as what the door cost to shave the door down to size. I will NOT do any more business there ever again.

The photos that you will see will not do justice to what your eyes will see. The owner is very friendly, answered all of our questions, and gave us lots of history within the area. We moved to our new house about two months ago and we are still waiting for 35% of our cabinet hardware (pulls and knobs); if your cabinets are white and you have three hungry teenagers, like we do, that is kind of a problem. The granite installation was sloppy at best, it was cut awkwardly at places, and the silicone they placed between the granite slabs looked like wide spats of shiny glue. So classy! The silicone was removed by our builder and there is wide gap between the edge of the granite and the division between the cabinets and the refrigerator. A really nice and desirable look. This company also did my bathroom sinks and ordered the wrong size for one of of them, so they placed a temporary sink. It has been OVER TWO MONTHS since the house was finished and I still do not have a permanent sink in the master bathroom. The spice cabinets in the kitchen island make a noise when they are closed and small strange parts pop out of those cabinets once in a while, I just save them and in my spare time try to figure out where they go. What a difference with the company from which we bought and installed the marble on my island, just down the road from these guys! (Very professionals, impeccable installation, great service). Again, stay away from this place!

As others have stated, they aren't very customer service focused with emails and phone calls left unanswered for days and weeks. Communication was poor from the start, with very little sense of urgency. Their installers broke our medicine cabinet during installation -- then blamed us and our contractor, saying it shouldn't have been installed yet. This was never communicated beforehand, and we had made it clear they would be responsible for any damage. While they eventually agreed to cover the cost, we had to chase them for weeks to get reimbursed. They also removed the doors from our vanity cabinet and lost the hinge screws, which caused further unnecessary delays. The sink arrived unfinished, with glue all over the inside of the custom basin. We were empathetic to the fact that they're short-staffed, but the delays dragged our project out by months. To their credit, they were honest and ultimately made good on everything -- but only after persistent follow-up. If you choose to work with them, be ready to stay on top of every detail yourself.

We had high hopes after visiting the design room, reviewing the plans and paying a significant amount of money. Unfortunately, what we hoped for is not what we ended up with. Parts were installed incorrectly, there was dirt and writing left of pieces, the wood glue used on every single piece was dirty. They came back to fix it which slightly improved things but overall, the experience with them was awful and the final product was not worth what we paid for. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
