Ugh. It's a no from me. I'll stick with the big box stores where they actually seem to appreciate my business.

    Wayne Tile

    Wayne Tile

    (6 reviews)

Poor Quality - Unreliable & Unprofessional…read more We recently hired Wayne Tile(Hamburg Location) to replace all the flooring in our 1200 square foot vacation home. The job consisted of removal of the current carpet/tile & replacing with new carpet/tile while moving all furniture within the home. We chose to go with Wayne Tile based off online reviews we had read as well as a review from the previous homeowner and after the AWFUL experience we had, I am documenting our experience so others are aware what it was like trusting Wayne Tile to complete this work. First, the company committed to completing the job within 5 days. It took them over 2 weeks to complete the job because of various issues(which I will cover in detail). After the initial five days, we were told the job was completed after speaking to Wayne(of Wayne Tile). We drove to the property to see the finished product and when we walked in we found all the furniture in the home stacked on top of each other in the master bedroom. Dressers, end tables etc. all stacked on top of each other haphazardly with no padding/drop clothes etc. put down to ensure the furniture was protected. When I called the company to understand what was going on, I was again told the job was completed and it was only AFTER I reiteratedwhat I was looking at in front of me did Wayne admit that he had actually been on vacation the prior day and was not sure the job was completed as initially told. As we continued our inspection, we grew increasingly frustrated as the walls were scuffed/marked and even damaged. Prior to the installation of the floors the entire condo had been re-painted and Wayne ensured us multiple times they would exhibit EXTRA care. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this endeavor was the complete dismissive behavior repeated by Wayne and the company. When we approached Wayne about the scuffs his response was "well it is expected there will be some damage when moving furniture." This was the supposed "Extra Care" and Quality we were promised initially but now the substandard quality/care was supposed to be accepted by a consumer paying a substantial amount of money for their products/services. Wayne promised that he would address with the installation crew the next day and we returned to the condo a few days later to again a "supposed finished product." What we found upon this inspection was that the carpet was not properly tacked down at all of the transition points from tile to carpet and were coming up/frayed before we even had stepped foot in the home. I could literally slide my hand under the carpet where it met the tile - it was not even remotely tacked down. Again, calling Wayne we were told he was not at the final inspection but was assured by his son it was all done correctly - however here we stood two weeks in with poor quality and a still unfinished product that now required additional visits to properly install the flooring. I cannot stress to you how unhappy my wife and I were with the complete dismissive attitude of Wayne and the inability to properly install the flooring and deliver the proper service. There was no accountability throughout the project, which was cemented by the fact that Wayne, the man in charge, was not at any of the final inspections of his crews work. In order to see the project through to completion it took multiple thorough inspections by my wife and I, repeated calls to Wayne Tile requiring them to return to fix items and ultimately additional cost having to re-hire the painting crew to come and fix the dings/dents in the walls and the scrapes on the custom cabinets in the kitchen. I have owned multiple properties, taken on multiple flooring projects and have never been treated as poorly and seen such low quality work as we experienced with Wayne Tile. I would not recommend Wayne Tile to anyone under any circumstance.

    C & M Restoration - Finished kitchen!

I do not even know where to start with this review, I am honestly sad I even have to write this. We…read morehad a contractor do construction in our house and while installing HWD floors, they damaged all our cabinets. So we call a couple guys in to give us re-finishing quotes. After meeting Craig, he seemed like a great guy to work with, and even negotiated his price. The fact that there was no "waiting list" should have been a red flag, but I went with him anyway. We decided to "re-face" instead of "re-finish" because we would put shaker doors on and give the kitchen a modern look. I will stick to the facts here- we had alot of requests, which is why I made a 7 page illustrated document outlining what had to be done. (1) I gave him a 50% deposit upfront back in July to order our new custom wood cabinet doors. Cut to.... NINE WEEKS LATER we finally get the doors. He initially told me "oh they take about 3 weeks, maybe 4 if they are REALLY backed up" but 9 weeks? Wow that tells me you sat on my money and didn't order them for awhile. (2) He also did not order any side panels. So now I have to deal with that, and order them myself. (3) He was supposed to build a custom island and extend it from the current small one we had to make it a larger square-shape to eat-in. Guys- he used PLYWOOD. No joke. I can't make this up. An island from plywood could have been made by MY HUSBAND. :( (4) Instead of ordering panels for the island, he made the shaker-style sides himself, but then he has some wood coming in on a 45 degree angle, and other on a 90 degree angle. Why is it not consistent? My contractor pointed out "Umm, you will want to order those in panels because the depth will not be the same. You will have a panel drawer front next to a man-made shaker style, and they won't be the same. It will look sloppy" He was right, it will. (5) When he delivered the island, he basically said it was nearly finished. When my husband noticed a dent and asked why it was like that, he said it happened while moving. Then why is it painted over? If it was dented from moving you would see the orig. wood color. (See two photos). After all the hassle, we agreed to amicably part ways. We agreed that he could keep our %50 deposit, if he returned all the brand new wood doors, and the island pieces too. Well, here we are, 11 weeks later, and we are missing panels, we are missing island drawers (that he claimed he made), we are missing island drawer fronts, and we are missing a roll-out feature he was supposed to make for the island. OH! and I even bought 3 stainless steel utensil containers so that he could measure one of the roll-outs and make it to the specs, and he did not even return the stainless steel container. What a crook. Side note - whenever I called him, it went straight to voice mail, and he claims he never got any of my texts. YET- when my hubs called him, he got at least a few rings, and he got his texts answered. I think Craig Sr. accidentally blocked my number without realizing it and doesn't know how to un-do it. Despite the sh-tshow of events that unfolded, I was always super nice to him and never wanted him to have a reason to not part ways peacefully. I applaud myself for holding it together for so long. These guys do NOT know how to run a business.

My husband and I decided to have our kitchen cabinets refinished. Although we obtained several…read morequotes for the job, we chose C&M Restoration because it was a local company and we always try to support our local businesses. This is one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made!!! The cabinet refinishing job started in April 2018, was paid for in full in May 2018, and here it is September 2018 and we're still waiting for the job to be completed. The Craig Sr. and Craig Jr. team are nothing short of unprofessional. Their work is sub-par and trying to get them to return a phone call or keep an appointment is impossible. Craig Sr. lost the door handles to several of our cabinet doors, and even managed to damage one of the doors during the stripping and staining process. The younger, extremely arrogant Craig Jr., who was sent to do most of the in-house portion of the job, was against completing work that had been previously agreed upon. He reluctantly did the work but managed to get stain on our kitchen floor - stain we cannot remove. We're beginning to think this was done intentionally and in retaliation!!! Long story short, we have doors with no handles, cabinet doors that do not align, a wall cabinet that was lacquered even though a portion of it was damaged by their sanding machine - a portion that needs to be stripped, sanded, and re-lacquered. The list goes on and on, but I think you get the point. If I were you, I would stay far away from this company.
