I am extremely unhappy with my experience at Blue Divine. I paid $2,500 for a CO laser treatment on my face, neck, and chest after being promised visible results, even told I'd look "10 years younger." Six months later, I look exactly the same. Not one visible improvement. It feels like I threw my money away. At the 3‑month check‑in, when I said I wasn't seeing any changes, they tried to show me "under the skin" results on a photo. That was never what they sold me. They promised visible results in the mirror, not invisible ones on a screen. It felt like a complete bait‑and‑switch. They also make it very clear they don't offer refunds, but they claim they'll "make every effort to make it right." That is absolutely not true. After the 6‑month mark, I called and spoke to the manager and was told I would get a call within 2 days. No one ever did. I called again the following week and got no answer at all. The facials were not bad but the women because very aggressive and quite rude upon my request to cancel the membership after the three month period. But, what is most disturbing about my experience was that I got a covid diagnosis and was charged anyway and never got my last and final facial. My credit card was billed anyway and I did not receive services because I was told that I had to have a negative covid test. I understood but then asked that my funds be returned to my credit card. I have been calling to speak with the owner for three months and still haven't gotten my money back. I was sent an email that stated that I had 30 days to book an appointment, but unfortunately my Covid tests kept coming back positive. I was one of those people who continued to test positive although my doctors had released me back to work. I explained this to these people and they STILL have not given me my 250 USD back!! I've sent several emails and they keep bouncing back to me. Please send me an email address that will work and mailbox is open to receive messages. Update: Sent the owner an email this morning and finally got a call back from the Spa after three months. To my disbelief if was the manager whom insulted me at their front desk. Receptionist Francheska is very rude. I called today to make an appointment for a VI Peel. I normally get VI Peels at RegenCare Med Spa at Buckhead Village District but I wanted to try out Blue Divine because I was referred by a friend. I went online on January 5 to request an appointment and the staff never called me. I received emails with my name spelled incorrectly as well as a new customer offer email stating I could receive either a discounted hydrofacial or 10% off peel services. When I asked about the offer it seemed as she got really upset and told that was the Black Friday promotion. Money isn't an issue and I have no problem paying full price. I later received a text message stating she had cancelled my appointment a few moments later. It's a shame that this business hires racist and rude employees such as Francheska. I am an engineer by profession, and I get VI peels every winter and I also, purchase other costly services such as laser hair removal treatments, and microdermabrasion packages during the year. After that I got Doralisa ONLY ONCE, she did my aerolase and completely burned my face. She put the laser directly on my face which she was NOT suppose to. My skin has not healed after that, and actually has gotten worse. I went to show my burns to the owner (Kalen) and the manger (Marilyn), it felt as if the manger was the only one that cared about my burns. The owner said that I had got a better treatment as a result of the burns. Very interesting! I requested a refund for my membership of $250 and the manger stated that she does not deal with refunds, but only Kalen the owner does. Confused on why the owner doesn't allow the manger to settle the issue with a customer that is not satisfied, very professional. I should be seeking damages for my face not just SEEKING a refund.. I found this place through Groupon, and decided to treat my mother to a deep pore cleansing/diamond tip dermabrasion. Rosemary greeted us at the front, and she was the sweetest lady! I sat in on the treatment, because my mom wanted me there (I came in town to visit her, and she wants to spend every second with me), and I got to witness the amount of care Rosemary took with my mother. She explained everything she was doing step by step, and made sure my mom was comfortable. At the end of the treatment, my mom seemed really happy and her skin was glowing! THE best laser hair removal in town! I have tried laser hair removal for years at many facilities, and have been disappointed with all of them. As an Indian, we have dark coarse hair that's also very stubborn and seems like it never wants to leave us. After my first treatment I saw a significant difference. I am so happy that I found Blue Divine and Kalen! Customer service is excellent, the salon is beautiful and very clean, and most importantly you get great results after their treatments. Love this place! I have purchased Groupons from other Spas in the Atlanta area and have gotten hit with additional "Spa fees", watered down products and substandard service! Not the case here! I purchased a laser hair removal Groupon in April and I saw noticeable results after the first treatment. I'm now on my fifth treatment and my hair which was once thick and coarse has slowly started to diminish! I got a hydrafacial at Blue Divine on Friday, I have no complaints, and I'd love to work with them again! Blue Divine reached out to me and asked if I'd be willing to try out the hydrafacial. After doing some research on what the treatment actually is (and after seeing that it's actually a great way to treat my face), I happily agreed. They set up the appointment for me, and I was able to confirm with a quick text, which was all very convenient. The location is in the back of the building on the first floor. (I got accidentally went up to the second floor, because I wasn't reading the signs on the door properly.) The waiting room is very bright and clean, and I helped myself to one of the Hershey's kisses set out (which was a nice touch). The aura was a very professional kind of comfortable, very nice and upscale. When I met Kalen, my aesthetician, I began to relax a bit more. Having someone to talk to and ask questions of helps me warm up to a new place very quickly, and Kalen was perfect for the role. She explained the procedure in depth before we even started, and during the treatment, she answered all of my (many) questions. She asked me about any areas of concern I had about my skin, and she discussed them with me and addressed them. I like to talk during my facials, and we chatted about lots and lots of things, which helped me feel comfortable and informed. During our chatting, Kalen made sure to check in on how my skin was feeling to make sure I wasn't having any negative reactions. The hydrafacial was something completely new to me. Kalen walked me through all 5 steps. The main tool of a hydrafacial is a wand attached to a machine that infuses good things into the skin through a small, oval tip with ridges in it. First, she moistened the skin to prep it to receive all the good things that were coming. Second, she infused acidic exfoliants into the skin so that it would release the dead skin and impurities better during the extraction phase. Third, during the extraction phase, the tip used suction to get out all of the impurities in my skin. Kalen made sure to pay extra attention to the sides of my nose where I had plenty of impurities. The fourth and phase infused antioxidants and peptides and other good, healthy things, and I can't remember the fifth phase (maybe moisturizer or the red LED light?), but the last things she used on my face were a red LED light and a blue LED light. The red one helps the skin with elasticity and soaking in all the good things put on my face. (I know it sounds weird, but it's true.) The blue LED light helped with killing any bacteria that was left after the process. When I woke up the next morning, it was amazing to see NO residue in my skin! My sebaceous filaments looked so much better! No wonder people get this treatment! And with all the peptides, antioxidants, and even a little bit of chemical peel goodness, this is an EXCELLENT treatment for anyone looking to have healthier and more youthful skin. Kalen really knows her stuff. I've been researching skincare for the last couple months, and everything Kalen was telling me was on point. (She also knows much more than me, and I got to learn a bit from her.) She is also a laser technician, and should I ever want to get lasering done in the States, I'm going to Blue Divine. I haven't experienced their lasering first hand, but Kalen told me about how she's been able to study and learn so much about the lasers so that she's able to really help people of all skin tones and hair colors. Through talking with her, I could tell that she really wants to help people put their best face forward any way she can. Kalen told me a bit about the lasering and other treatments Blue Divine offers, and she recommended a product that would help with some scarring I have, but never once did I feel like she was trying to sell me something. Never once did I feel pressured. It was all a relaxing (and informative) experience. The only thing that surprised me was when Kalen applied a lip plumper to my lips with a Q-tip right at the end of the hydrafacial. I didn't know it was coming, so it might have been a special little extra, but Kalen made sure to tell me what she was doing before she did it. She also sent me off with samples, and she offered some tinted sunscreen for after the hydrafacial, which I declined because I love the feeling of a clean face. I definitely recommend Blue Divine. Professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and growing. It's no wonder why they're trying to get the word out; they have a lot of good things to offer! Although I wish the facial massage was better I do think this was one of the better facials I have had. Reason being is that I actually saw results. I've never written a bad review and hope I never have to again. I have 2 stars instead of one because I'm a nice person. However, my experience at Blue Divine was anything but relaxing. I called the spa prior to booking my appointment to discuss the treatment I was interested in. They quoted me a price of $125 and said, and I quote, that there would be "instant results". When I arrived, the esthetician immediately began to upsell me. She said that the treatment I chose wouldn't really do anything (then why offer it?) and said the only way I'd see results was if I paid an additional $300 for the chemical peel on top of my $125 treatment. I kindly declined by telling her I only had cash on me and she told me I could "leave to go get more money out of the atm". I said no again and she proceeded to rush through my treatment (10 minutes for the entire session). I felt embarrassed because she kept saying "you don't exfoliate, do you? Look at what just came off of you". It was LOTION. They tried again to upsell me at check out by selling me more products. But, I was given the run-around about what type of peels I could be given far too many times that I lost confidence in their work on my FACE. This could just be MY experience, and not represent how this business operates as a whole, but here's why I'm not coming back: 1// The Run-Around. Upon initial consultation in person, I was told I could do a medical grade salicylic peel. I came in a week later with a $50 coupon for my appointment to do a hydra facial and the salicylic peel but when I came in, I was talked out of doing both the hydra facial and the salicylic peel because it was going to be "too strong". Not sure why I didn't get the facial still, but I feel like my appointment was cut short due to be being the last patient of the day and they were ready to close shop. I ended up receiving the "pumpkin enzyme peel", which literally didn't do anything for my skin. After cancelling my follow up appointment, they courteously gave me a $70 credit and was offered to use it toward a different peel ( a much stronger peel than the original salicylic acid)... then I got an email back stating that they spoke with the 'medical director' and was advised this peel would be too strong. At this point, I'm cursing in my head and not sure if she knows what to do. We went back and forth in email and I was trying to be understanding of her not wanting to burn my skin... ok cool... so I was given two other different peel options, that would cost me at least another $100 out of pocket. (((Why can't I just get the original salicylic peel that I wanted from the start? which is much milder than all of the stronger options I was given there after))) To make matters worse, I kept trying to confirm the date/time to come in for this credit and never got a response. Instead of waiting for the email, I called about a week in advance and by this point, they were booked up and didn't have any late time slots for me. I let a couple weeks go by after Thanksgiving... I called a couple times and just got their voicemail. I just gave up. 2// Lack of Knowledge about their Expensive Products. Of course they talked a big game about their face products. When I asked "what are the ingredients?" She said "the ingredients aren't listed but it's medical grade and this will help with your oiliness and how you transport the product. blah blah blah"... I wanted to decline and do more research but bought them out of pressure. When I got home, the ingredients were listed right on the bottles. -_- Smh... they either lied about not knowing the ingredients or didn't know the ingredients to begin with, either way... this doesn't sit right with me from a professional standpoint and I just lost trust/confidence in their knowledge. Expensive is not a problem if the delivery is done right, that was just not MY experience. I would just encourage new clients to clarify their services and do research on the products before committing. I am still looking for an aesthetician I can trust, that will get my skin right, and will use this lesson when consulting with the next. read more
