I'm leaving this review because of how my sister was treated at Ideal Image Laser in Atlanta before the location closed. She was burned during a laser treatment, and when she attempted to address the injury and seek accountability, the situation was turned around on her. She was made to feel as though she was the problem, as if her concerns were irrational or unwarranted, rather than those of a client who had been harmed. Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a resolution, the response escalated to the point where she was trespassed from the location for simply advocating for herself. Watching a legitimate concern be reframed as misconduct was deeply disturbing. What's even more concerning is that individuals connected to this now-closed location are currently involved with Sev Laser in Atlanta. From what I've seen, there was never acknowledgment or resolution of the harm done before moving forward under a new business name. Laser treatments are medical-adjacent services that demand accountability, professionalism, and transparency. When something goes wrong, silencing or removing the client instead of addressing the issue is unacceptable. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions. read more

Today is my second appointment. My first appointment was last week and I was confused about the location and parking and Lewie the Client coordinator stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes making sure I found the location and helped me through parking and stayed with me until I reached the door and greeted me with a big warm beautiful smile. Today I was greeted by Alston the Clinic Manager and Lewie and again greeted me with beautiful smiles. Customer service is AWESOME!!! My nurse Megan is very knowledgeable about the products and expectations on my procedures received. I had my first appointment with my abdomen and flanks. Wish me the best. Buyer beware! I was really excited to start my laser treatment. However, I've been rescheduled for my initial treatment three times now. I received the text confirmations but then received the call an hour before my appointment time that they need to cancel because it was booked across someone's lunch break. Seriously! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place deserves it. First, they sold me overpriced skincare products that I later found online for significantly cheaper. When I brought it up, they dismissed it by saying, "Ours are original--maybe the ones you found aren't." That's a lazy and dishonest excuse, especially when the product packaging and branding were identical. Then came the appointment chaos. I booked two appointments--one for myself and one for my mom. They changed the time twice, and just a few hours before our visit, I received a call saying my mom had called to cancel her appointment. That's impossible--my mom is visiting me from abroad, lives in my house, and doesn't even speak English! That was the last straw. Underarm touch up service. I have been a client at Ideal Image since 2008 when I got my underarms treated with laser. I loved the results and still get a small amount of growth. I have had 2 kids since completing the treatments and they tell you that pregnancy hormones may make you have some additional growth in treated areas. I have recently started having thicker more rapid growth since my last pregnancy so I came in for a touch up. Front desk staff is always pleasant at this location. Booking appointments is efficient on the app. I plan to come back for a touch up in my bikini area after I get the numbing cream from their pharmacy - it hurts! I show up for my appointment, having taken off work for it and driven 30 minutes, only to find that they had "auto canceled" the appointment. Why? They said I never replied to the text message. I never got a text asking to confirm this appointment. I checked my phone records and sure enough, no such text message. Now I'm here in the office just hoping they will be able to fit me in. Update the hair is now coming back after several months. I paid an extra 250 for the "lifetime" touch ups. I was told that the 250 was only for a year of touch ups. This year started along with my contract. So because it took me more than a year to finish my treatments due to COVID and scheduling issues. I now have to pay another 250 to receive discounted touch ups in the new year. Smh Don't pay for the "lifetime" plan until you are finished with your contract. After 11 days, I finally received a call from Ideal Image yesterday. The woman I spoke with said my email got "filed away" in the wrong folder. She asked me if I wanted to share my concerns/experience with her. I told her unless she was going to improve my experience, I had nothing else to add to my review. She explained that Ideal Image had already extended my contract once from October 2021 - December 2021. No one ever mentioned this to me (again, poor communication.) The extension realistically wasn't enough time to complete my treatment given that they do not even honor the 6-8 weeks appointment recommendation. EDIT: The sales lead, Courtney, was who saved the day here. She actually made an effort to get me a transfer of my credits to another service. Thanks to her, I was able to repurpose my initial investment. -- ORIGINAL: I spent nearly $4k here on 6 Cool Sculpting sessions. The sales girl told me that I could book those session as soon as the following week. I paid with her, and then, when I got to the front desk, they told me they didn't have availability for over a month.... When I finally was able to go in, the first session was so painful I didn't even make it though. Then COVID hit so, of course, I didn't even think about going in with everyone staying safe and staying home. Now I'm being told that my credits expired? Ok so nearly $4000 down the drain? They didn't even reach out when COVID hit to give customers extensions of their contracts. I have been calling the Buckhead office since November to try to speak with the manager, Natalie, who has failed to call me back once or answer any of my emails. The front desk staffer, Ashley, has been really nice but has given me the runaround for over a month, promising to get Natalie to call me back but never follows through. I had researched cool sculpting for a little over and even scheduled an appointment for a consultation that I never followed through with because of my initial hesitation. After doing more research and reading millions of reviews, I finally worked up the courage to finally make the decision to do forward. Fast F Today, completed my 2nd cool sculpting appointment for my flanks and let me tell you something; Brittany is the absolute best. She is very assertive and that is a great trait to have, especially when dealing with patients that want to make changes to their physical appearance. I was a little bummed that she wasn't there to complete my first appointment but today having her as my nurse made up for it. I can not stress enough how so very professional she was! I will definitely be returning and requesting her to be my nurse if I need a 3rd session. UPDATE!!!! I am very happy with my results! I have become more confident in wearing certain looks due to my results from cool sculpting and also trying to be consistent with working out and eating better. I am going to wait another 2 months for my results to complete its process before I consider getting one more cycle done to my flanks. I have only had 1 of my 2 appointments completed for cool sculpting and most of the fat under my chin is completely gone. I wold absolutely recommend this service to someone. they also did a job on my Botox and I'm super picky with that. I will say I was not Impressed with my free abdominal toning procedure, but I only had 1 and to get results I would have had to have had many more. I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. This company doesn't care at all for people who are unsatisfied from wasteful procedures. I got a $1200 Ultherapy appointment back in February, waited the 6 months for results, it did NOTHING. Then they asked for me to come in for a follow up appointment just to tell me to wait longer for customer service to reach out to me later, THEN when they finally talk to me over a week later they tell me they can't do anything. Hmm I can think of something, how about a REFUND? They see my pictures and know Ultherpy did nothing for me, and this whole experience has been a HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. Well, I am about to lose my mind. Came here to specifically write this review and I never write reviews. Last February I finally decided to pull the trigger on laser hair removal. I wish I'd done a little research before choosing Ideal Image. In my mind Ideal Image is a well known Med Spa with lots of locations around town. I thought it would be the most convenient place with many locations to choose from. I WAS WRONG. It is so difficult to make appointments to any of the locations around town. I live 5 minutes from the Buckhead location and haven't once been able to get an appointment there. I am a little annoyed with that but whatever.....I'm happy to go to any of the 4 Atlanta area locations. EXCEPT YOU CAN'T GET INTO ANY OF THEM. I left my last appointment in August without a new appointment set up at all. The front desk lady told me none of their books are open 6 weeks out (which I cant understand cause I'd made 4 other appointments before then) and to call back to make a new appointment when the books open in a few weeks. So I call back and I'm not able to get another appointment until end of December. You are supposed to receive treatments every 6-8 weeks. August - December.....THAT PUTS ME AT 16 WEEKS AND MAKES ME FURIOUS. I'm literally throwing money out the window. I'm not one of these Buckhead Betty's who can stand to not make the most of the $2400 of my hard earned money! That's a lot of money to not even be able to get in the door for appointments. I have called multiple times to make sure I'm still on a cancellation list so hopefully I can get an appointment before the end of December. Well today I had a missed phone call from Ideal Image. I thought - finally they are getting me in. Well I've now called twice and no one can tell my why I had a missed call. Both people on the phone told me they tried calling the person who originally called me but can't get through to them. They both said they would ask the original person to call me back. I'm still waiting on the call. Bottom line - do yourself a favor and research to find a place that can actually get you in the door for appointments. I originally signed up for laser hair removal 4th quarter 2019 because I was told by the sales rep at the now defunct Perimeter location (Atlanta, GA) that I could pre-pay for the service, without having to pay interest, and as long as I did not start treatment, I would be eligible for a refund. I wanted to prepay because there was a job opportunity across the country that was on the table, and I was not sure if I would be able to continue services if I took the job. I was in the appointment with a co-worker and friend who was also seeking service, and so have a witness to the conversation. Covid hit, and the job fell through, but I decided it was a good idea to just pay the service off fully prior to starting, in case an emergency happened and I needed to recoup that money. After 18 months I finally pay off the service. By that time I was preparing to purchase a house and decided the funds would be better used for that. I call Ideal Image to let them know I want a refund, and discover you can only request a refund for MEDICAL reasons, and the information I was provided was at best misinformed, and after seeing more complaints, may have been a lie. I decide to go ahead and start service, but the contract they sent me is for the Toco Hills location which is not convenient. I email and call my rep and request they update the contract to the Buckhead location, this was back in Nov 2021. I have been calling and emailing since NOV 2021 trying to request an updated contract so I can start getting service and have not heard back. Just promises to get a call back, or they put me on hold for forever, or saw they will transfer me to management and then just hang up. Checking my phone records I have called at least 8 times since then, and emailed 4 times, and have never heard back. At this point I can't get a refund, or apparently an updated contract for service. I filed with the BBB and am hoping to be able to come to some resolution. *** Updated 4/25/22 Updating this from a 1 star review to 4 stars. Customer service at corporate finally sent me an updated contract and was able to book an appointment at my preferred location within a week. The staff on-site at the Buckhead location were courteous, efficient and really helpful. One lady went out if her way to come from behind the desk, walk outside the facility and point out where to park to make sure it is free. The technician took the time to explain everything to me since I was new. I still have a terrible taste in my mouth from dealing with customer service/corporate, but felt like the actual location was not deserving of the review/rating I provided before. I wish I could give them zero stars. I called this location to find out the price for laser hair removal for a full Brazilian ,under arms and lower leg. I was told that they cannot give a price over the phone and would need to come in for a consultation. This was complete bull. The person that helped me is SKYE ,she seemed nice at first but she basically swindled me into signing a contract and taking out a loan for $5000. Two days later I called back to cancel because other places like skin matters charges $800 to $1200 (6-12 sessions ) for the same EXACT thing ! At that point I did not Receive any services from ideal image and they told me that I cannot cancel due to the contract I signed. 1. Their prices are way too expensive compared to everywhere else 2. They don't tell you that the contract is non refundable and they make you sign a contract and try to get your services on the same day that way your bound to their contract. According to their financing company you CAN get a refund as long as you don't receive services from them so please beware . 3.their consultation is not a real consultation.skye showed me before and after pictures of other people and tried to work out a payment plan which she doesn't tell you that it's a loan. 4. They don't care about you, they just try to lock you In a loan by letting you sign a contract and get services the same day. Due to covid I didn't get all the appointment I basically paid for and still paying for. I went in today for my "Last appointment" which wasn't the case. I'm glad I made sure before I was actually serviced because they were going to charge me another $30 for today. They really must be crazy thinking Ill give them any more money.
