For years, I have suffered from deep closed comedonal acne all over my face. My skin also leans…read moremore towards oily and dehydrated so it definitely did not help with my issue at all. My deep whiteheads would never naturally go away and had a very hard time rising to the surface of my skin. Not only did they stay stubbornly stuck in my skin, but some of them would also leave dark purple brownish scar even when I didn't pick at it or touch it at all. I knew I couldn't extract them myself so I went to many different estheticians to see if they could do the extractions for me. I was surprised to find out not everyone can do it well. In fact, there were exactly two people that I was satisfied with. One person did it well but would not continue to accept me as a client unless I used her products. I knew I didn't want to go with that option so on my desperate search, I fortunately came across Keyanna. She was not only able to extract the root of the whiteheads but she did not cause my skin to scar and bruise after the extraction. FINALLY!! I found the right person!! Over the course of the next few months, I was going to Keyanna regularly for facials which of course include extractions. She customizes the facials to fit my needs and makes suggestions on what she thinks will be best for my skin during each visit. In between treatments, I noticed there were much fewer whiteheads forming and my skin overall just started looking much healthier, which was very exciting for me! Now that my whitehead issue was being treated, I found that there was another skin issue I was dealing with. After years of having the wrong people do extractions for me, my skin was forming ice-pick scars that looked like small, sharp craters all over my cheeks. Keyanna and I decided it was time we turn to microneedling and I'm glad so glad we did! We finished my 4th treatment a few weeks ago and my skin is looking brighter and smoother each time. Ice pick scars are actually very difficult to treat but I am so happy to see that the small craters are starting to fill up and smoothen out. I still have a few more treatments to go but I am really looking forward to seeing the final result! I am not someone who likes to jump from one person to another but when l find someone I like, I will stick with that person for a long time and for me that person is Keyanna. Today, I went in for my 3rd treatment and found myself in capable hands (as always). My usual aesthetician, T'wana Richardson, is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. She provides you with all the information you will need during the course of your treatments. She focuses a good deal of attention on caring for and protecting your skin while you're having laser treatments. Today T'wana was unavailable so another aesthetician, Devonne Love, performed the treatment. Devonne is wonderful and very knowledgeable. She performed the treatment expertly. Their office is tucked away in a private medical office center off Main Street. Glow is located near the back of the property. There is always ample free parking available. The office is beautifully decorated and spacious. Everything from the decor to the lighting to the music promotes a calming, spa-like atmosphere. The private treatment rooms are quiet, clean, comfortable, and inviting. If you're considering booking a spa treatment at Glow, I suggest you do it. This place is a wonderful little gem. I was corresponding on Instagram with the owner about my post op care once surgery was complete. However, since Covid-19 I have had to postpone my procedure but I still decided to go in and check out the other services they provided. She communicated very well with me online and took the time to answer any and all questions even before I booked a service. I felt like she cared and she takes time with new clients. There is plenty of parking in front, once you enter you're greeted and the studio is beautiful and very clean. There was a calm, pleasant feeling when entering. I was able to meet Toni, the owner as she was the one providing my services on this day. She had a consultation with me first to make sure she understood my expectations and then discussed what services they provided. She was honest and extremely knowledgeable about the body and suggested some great options so that we can start my transition to my goals. I wasn't nervous at all about the services but she made sure to go over every detail with me and made sure I understood what was happening next and the benefits. I started a series with her, so I'll be returning weekly and I love it. I could see a change immediately after the service but several visits are suggested to reach your true body goals. I think this is something I want to commit to. Not only do I want to feel more confident about my body, but she made me feel beautiful inside and out and I appreciated that. The owners of the business did not deny responsibility and said they would do whatever it took to either fix the damage themselves or pay the cost to have a specialist repair the damage. After they could not fix the problem, I started to go to a specialist. Meirielly had paid for my treatment to the specialist, as she agreed she would, until last month. At that point, Meirielly Teixeira informed me she would no longer be paying for my treatment even though the specialist was not finished repairing the damage. I tried to be fair and asked her to agree to pay for at least another year because the specialist said it would probably take about that long. SHE REFUSED! They went back on the promise that they made to me! I am deeply hurt by this! My legs are damaged and I can not afford the cost of the specialist to repair them! I am seeking legal counsel to help me force them to finish the commitment they made to me! This is my story AND my WARNING TO ALL OF YOU!
