For years, I have suffered from deep closed comedonal acne all over my face. My skin also leans more towards oily and dehydrated so it definitely did not help with my issue at all. My deep whiteheads would never naturally go away and had a very hard time rising to the surface of my skin. Not only did they stay stubbornly stuck in my skin, but some of them would also leave dark purple brownish scar even when I didn't pick at it or touch it at all. I knew I couldn't extract them myself so I went to many different estheticians to see if they could do the extractions for me. I was surprised to find out not everyone can do it well. In fact, there were exactly two people that I was satisfied with. One person did it well but would not continue to accept me as a client unless I used her products. I knew I didn't want to go with that option so on my desperate search, I fortunately came across Keyanna. She was not only able to extract the root of the whiteheads but she did not cause my skin to scar and bruise after the extraction. FINALLY!! I found the right person!! Over the course of the next few months, I was going to Keyanna regularly for facials which of course include extractions. She customizes the facials to fit my needs and makes suggestions on what she thinks will be best for my skin during each visit. In between treatments, I noticed there were much fewer whiteheads forming and my skin overall just started looking much healthier, which was very exciting for me! Now that my whitehead issue was being treated, I found that there was another skin issue I was dealing with. After years of having the wrong people do extractions for me, my skin was forming ice-pick scars that looked like small, sharp craters all over my cheeks. Keyanna and I decided it was time we turn to microneedling and I'm glad so glad we did! We finished my 4th treatment a few weeks ago and my skin is looking brighter and smoother each time. Ice pick scars are actually very difficult to treat but I am so happy to see that the small craters are starting to fill up and smoothen out. I still have a few more treatments to go but I am really looking forward to seeing the final result! I am not someone who likes to jump from one person to another but when l find someone I like, I will stick with that person for a long time and for me that person is Keyanna. Sharon has magical spirit fingers! I am a repeating customer, and since I just went last Saturday, everything is fresh on my mind. I should have reviewed her a long time ago! This is the best place to get a facial in Atlanta. I have tried other places like Spa Sydell, but they can't even compare to Sharon and her skills. When you walk in to Face Value spa, there are two comfy couches. In the background, you can hear a serene waterfall and soothing music. I am immediately relaxed when I walk in. She is punctual! If your appointment is at 11am, she will see you at exactly 11am. Since she is super busy, you can't come in earlier in hopes of getting in sooner. She is booked every minute. That's how amazing she is. (I shouldn't even be telling ya'll so I can get more appointments with her, but she's so great. I have to share.) The room is always clean and organized. I really can't be sure of the process, but I can give you an idea. Sharon will begin to relax you by exfoliating your skin and opening your pores. She examines your skin and assesses what parts need the most work. Then, she will massage your shoulders, arms, and fingers. After you are fully relaxed from the massage, she will then extract which is the most painful part. BUT it's worth it, and she's great at it. I have never received a scar from her extractions. After the extractions are over, you get to relax while she massages your face. I always take a small nap. I can't explain how she does it, but every single time, I have glowing skin. I really enjoy seeing Sharon. She knows all her clients. Last time she noted how much my skin has improved. (I give her the credit for that!) She is worth more than the $50 she charges. Sharon is awesome. Today I went in for the 2nd facial I've ever had in my life but the first one with extractions. I admit extractions are really painful, but I was expecting this. The price is great, $50 for a facial and I even got free microdermabrasion (usually $60 more).
