Came for a quick stop--left planning my next trip back. I had about a two-hour break during a track meet and noticed a small line forming outside this bakery in downtown Glendale--so I decided to go on a little adventure. This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

I stumbled upon blue corn bakery in downtown Glendale, Az. So grateful and lucky for me! Iv been twice, their sourdough jalapeno bread and quiche is to die for. You must try both- they are both melt in your mouth divine. The muffins, quiches and sourdough bread -all so beyond delicious. Adorable seating areas and tables, enough for everyone. They had hot sour dough bread as samples and it's so good, like melt in your mouth good, grandma good, I'm happy I'm here good and drive across town to get some --cuz it's that's good ! I also got a matcha muffin- which tasted divine. I could hear Angels sing, it had so much delicious matcha flavor. Red Devils food muffin, which almost brought tears to my eyes of how delicious it was. I had a lavender frosted cupcake, quite good but not like my other goodies. And my divine heavenly and fantastical delicious jalapeno cheddar sourdough. They slice bread there for you. Def try it this place out. Everything there is fluffy baked & delicious and magical. I'll prob go back tomorrow! *** I did go back and enjoyed matcha muffin. Amazing matcha taste- I loved it. I also got a delicious pistachio muffin that tasted incredible like a fluffy cake and very pistachio flavored. This is the type place you would drive for miles to get stuff, wait in line, park far away and just be so happy they didn't sell out of your favorites. They def have Angels baking in this kitchen.

If you are ever within the Glendale area, please stop on by this amazing indigenous-owned small bakery and cafe! My boyfriend and I had this on our "cafe hopping" bucket list, as we saw this ranked number #24 for the "Top 100 Coffee Shops" within the US. We had a trip out to Phoenix for a concert (We are from Las Vegas), and remembered that this cafe was really close by. So, we had our expectations set high, and let me tell you, this place went above and beyond anything we expected. I want to start off by showing appreciation to all the people there. Shoutout to Trevor, Monique, and Natalie for delivering excellent service and being just the best. They were not only so kind, but funny and made the cafe feel like a second home. It was our first time in the bakery and within Phoenix in general, and they made us feel so welcomed. They offered samples, and even a free pastry or two. That type of service and kindness is rare, so I want to show my gratitude for their hospitality. Besides the great people there, they have AMAZING pastries and drinks. My boyfriend and I were quite speechless during our time there, as every item we sipped on or took a bite out of was perfection. For our drinks, my boyfriend ordered a Passionfruit Jasmine Tea and I got the Desert Pear refresher with Lotus Energy. The tea was divine, as it was herbal and sweet. The refresher? REFRESHING. It definitely gave me an energy boost, and fun fact: it's a healthier plant-based alternative! Now for the food we tried, and we did try a LOT, so buckle up. The Ube Muffin was our favorite. It was rich and sweet, so it felt like I was eating something out of my childhood as I myself am Filipino. The Chocolate Mousse Dome was heavenly decadent. The Cherry Tart was fruity and not too sweet which was amazing. The Spinach and Feta quiche was savory, which complimented all the sweet treats we got. Their in-house baked Sourdough bread is beyond delicious, which paired well with their soup of the day, which was Tomoto Bisque. The Caprese Panini was amazing, and it also paired greatly with the soup. Lastly, my other favorite, the Gluten-Free Honey Lavender Cheesecake. I am not at all a cheesecake person, but this was my favorite thing ever. It was light and subtle, yet sweet and refreshing. I could go on and on about the food, so we took some home for the road as well. Again, please visit this amazing bakery and cafe for yourself. There is amazing people, delicious food, and refreshing drinks waiting for you here. I personally can't wait to come back and try more things!!!

The Protectors of the Salt River, after a Sunday Stinknet eradication effort were fed by Blue Corn. Some months later, visuting Glendale, we stopped in at the home Restaurant. It is mostly bakery, woth delicious baked goods, with a minor in other edibles, plus coffee. We got croissants and a muffin, carrot cake or zucchini. This is a very clean, very busy dining and baked goods buting space. We'll return

I found this place on instagram originally and had it on my list to try! My husband and I finally made it in on a Saturday and had a great experience. We got the tomato basil quiche and lemon blueberry muffin to share (plus a couple coffee's) both were great! The blueberry Leon muffin was huge and bursting with fresh blueberry when you cut into it. Can't wait to try more flavors. Best part was the pastry chef was coming by adding to the case and he said hello & gave us a lavender crustless cheesecake he was finishing up. Wow - the whipped topping on the cheesecake was amazing. And customer service in general. We got to chat with him on our way out too. He is big on local and fresh ingredients which we appreciate. Definitely will be back!

We made a last minute stop right before they closed, and it was such a great experience! The service was amazing, the vibes were on point, and we felt really welcomed. Definitely coming back Thank you for the great customer service! *noticed a lot of room to chill in case anyone is looking for a spot for some good coffee and study time

About to try this bacon spinach quiche

Actually found this lovely spot on Yelp and was amazed by the reviews so we had to stop in. Immediately we were welcomed coming into the door and caught the variety of sandwiches and quiches available in a glass container. The store is long, and there is seating area in front and then in the back past the counter where you pay. But as we waited in line (looked busy-ish for a Sunday midday) we continued to get more mouth watering sensations with the treats we kept seeing. We were offered fresh sourdough to try, which was SO GOOD, and so we knew we had to purchase a loaf to take home! But what we ended up trying was the bacon breakfast sandwich (2), and the spinach bacon quiche. Also ordered a hazelnut latter, a tuxedo cappuccino and a peppermint mocha cappuccino too! All of what we ordered was DELICIOUS! The quiche was probably the best quiche I've had, it was fluffy eggs on the inside, so nicely seasoned and the outside crust was perfectly crisp. We wished we'd ordered another to try but it was actually enough. The breakfast sandwich they toast for you and so that came out nice and hot too, the gooey cheese inside was so great, and they serve you hot sauce at the table and that just gave it an extra yummy little kick to the already amazing brek items we ordered. Lastly, we decided to try the biscoff cheesecake and unfortunately didn't even get a pic of it, it was soooo goooood! The take home sourdough was fantastic, just had it this morning with some eggs for brek and there's just something about it that just tasted amazing! We'll be back but you'd be finding yourself a regular go-to spot if you choose to come here. You'll definitely leave beyond satisfied! Thank you, Blue Corn Cafe & -Bakery!!

We stopped into this bakery after brunch. The zucchini bread was so warm and fluffy. The carrot cake was absolutely amazing! The breads were so light and fluffy. My son had a red velvet cookie and he absolutely devoured it. The service was quick and great. We were able to meet the owner/chef. He was great and told us about each dish. I would love to see more colors in the bakery; the decor is mainly blue and white. Overall we had a great experience.

We can't rave enough out this little gem!! 10/10 RECOMMEND!! The warm lemon blueberry muffin had the best crunchy, chewy texture!!! I have never had a muffin so superb!! That slightly crunchy chewy texture will have me returning again and again!! My daughter got the key lime dome!!! Which had a chocolate crunch shell with amazing moose inside!!! So pretty, almost too pretty to dig into!! 10/10 recommend this little spot. (Coffee and matcha was where they fell short, but I'm not taking any stars off because bakery items are too die for!!! This is just room to grow and I have faith they will!!) Give them a try!! (Not pictured the Ube cheese cake tart!!! So fresh, creamy, texture again SPOT FREAKING ON, gourmet look!! How have wet lived near by so long and this is our first time trying out the bakery. Nick said they are opening other locations and even a quick grab and go. I'm so excited to have this little gem on my side of town to patronize!!!

I saw this place on google while looking for blue corn recipes little did I know it was a short drive away I went the same day. Such a quaint, calming little bakery with beautiful native art that makes the space feel warm and welcoming. The owner I believe his name was Alex was incredibly friendly and we even got to see fresh quiche being made while we were there. Everything we tried was delicious! From the sandwiches to the five different desserts we sampled. I can't wait to come back and try more of their blue corn specialties!

The desserts were fresh and tasty. Plus they had a variety of coffee, sandwiches and muffins. I recommend and will revisit.

Gotta say - I have not spent much time in downtown Glendale. Was pleasantly surprised when I ran across Blue Corn Cafe. Stopped in to get a coffee, but ended up with a muffin and a coffee. The service is fast and fast friendly, the vibe is mellow and welcoming, and the baked good were delicious. The selection of baked goods was quite good - cookies, cakes, muffins, croissants, and macarons. I opted from a blueberry muffin - it was tall and full of blueberries. The outside was nicely crispy as well. Almond milk latte (iced) was good as well. The rest of the pastries looked really good, but no way was I getting through more than one.. N*joy!

My friend and I went in this adorable shop because I was thirsty and wound up having lunch there. The sandwiches were delicious and my turkey had a generous portion of turkey on it. The lemonade and Palmer were yummy. I took home some cookies and they were scrumptious! I live 25 miles away but will be making a special trip to Coyote Oaties when I'm west of I-17.

Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. ALL of them were amazing!
