Wine barrels

We did a white flight and a red flight. Owner Angelo came over to talk to us about the wines, vines, barrels, winemaking process, equipment and more! We also got a charcuterie board. We went on a Thursday so it was mellow without a lot of people.

Thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit series. The live music, great tasting wine (enjoyed a flight, rosé, and Williamstown reserve), and even better company. Honestly, if I lived closer, I'd be there everyday. Following a hectic 10 week semester and crazy times at work, it was nice to unwind out in the open, by a fire. They do not allow outside food, but you can order from a local restaurant, Monalisia, which has some great selections that are very delicious paired with the wine. I will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and great wines.

white wine flight!

This winery is so much fun!! Came with my friend on a Thursday for some flights and it ended up being Disney Trivia night! It was the funnest night thanks to our server, Jessica, the owners and other staff! Everyone was very welcoming! This winery is a must to visit!!

This winery has potential but let me down on my first visit, which is disappointing given how close it is to home. First off, the seating is less than ideal. The inside looks clean and new but feels like more of a brewery to me. Kinda sterile and not very inviting despite the modern look. The outdoor seating is better, but kinda just feels like you're next to a winery rather than being immersed in it. You'll know what I mean when you go. Vineyard looks inviting but always feel a solid arm's reach away from the seating to pit it lightly. Almost like drinking in a backyard next to a winery. Additional star lost due to poor customer service. The gentleman(owner?) that greeted us and opened the door for us on the way in seemed like a legitimately nice and friendly guy, but the good customer service stopped there. The lady at the register couldn't have cared less that we were buying wine that was admittedly good, but overpriced, and gave us zero recommendations or input after we told her we were first time customers and open to suggestions. Lastly, and no fault of the business here, there were a couple older patrons here that were flat out rude in terms of oddly staring at my friends and I. Good wine, but unlikely to return given the layout and phoned in customer service.

Reserve Flight & White Flight and Charcuterie! Yummo!

IYKYK! Grateful to be on the other side of Wine Flights and Vineyard Care today... Gracious Family welcomes you to their fabulous facility and the Wine Speaks for itself! Something for every wine palate! French Oak Barrels and Delicious Grapes everywhere making this a wonderful stop on our day off! Well worth the trip from Cape May! Cheers Blue Cork Winery Team!

The wine was fine but there were lots of rules that made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

Love that they obviously got friends and family or perhaps paid people to drop 5 star reviews all on the same day. Not obvious at all...

A very nice winery with Wine Slushies. Great outdoor space. We also really enjoyed the sangria.

Very bad customer service. Charged a bus full of people more than the average joe walking in. Bad business ethic

Please make sure you come next year and enjoy the festival experience. You can bring your own food or partake of all the food trucks. Their tasting room is beautiful but super cozy. I immediately felt relaxed the second I walked in. The winery is surrounded by forest and farmland. A picturesque landscape to admire while you drink wine! We sampled a bunch of their wines, and I finally tried their famous Shamong Blush and I get the hype now. It was smooth, sweet and went down easily. I really also enjoyed the Shamong Red and the Perfect Pear! Highly recommend doing a flight to sample different types of wines. They do have food onsite which they get from Summit Catering -- at the time of our visit (February 2025), we got the flatbread, cheeseboard, mac & cheese bites, and baked brie. Everything paired so well with the wine and just made it feel like a whole experience, not just a tasting. This is such a good spot to spend the day with your people. Date night, girls' day, family time -- you could easily hang here for hours like we did! And their event space is so pretty. If you're planning a wedding, shower, birthday -- this would be such a dreamy place to celebrate. If you need weekend plans, this is your sign. This was totally worth the hour drive!

Owner and staff are super friendly. The backstory to this vineyard is amazing and worth stopping in…read moreto hear the stories. The reds are some of the most spectacular I've had. A total hidden gem. Seasonal and barrel tastings as well as guided tastings with very knowledgable and friendly staffers. Outdoor seating on a brick patio, gas fire pits, pet and family friendly - it's all about the wine here. No kitchens or lines of food trucks... just a simple, chill atmosphere. In the Spring & Summer, I'm out under the trees listening to the birds and reading a book enjoying some crisp whites. Fall & Winter, inside by the wood stove and mixing it up with the staff and visitors. One of the friendliest spots in the area. Truly some of the best wines on either coast. Be sure to join the wine club for amazing opportunities to bundle & save.

A Hidden Gem in South Jersey!…read more Having lived in South Jersey my entire life and visited quite a few local wineries, I'm honestly not sure how I managed to overlook this gem! I've always found many New Jersey wines to be a bit too watery, fruity, or sweet for my taste, which has kept me from exploring more wineries in the southern part of the state. However, on a whim yesterday, I decided to give Amalthea Cellars a try, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, I really enjoyed the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. There was a nice crowd of people just enjoying themselves, no kids running around, no unnecessary noise, and none of the chaos you sometimes encounter at other wineries. Just a peaceful, laid-back setting where you could actually relax and appreciate the wine. And speaking of the wine, what a pleasant surprise! Amalthea offers an impressive variety that should appeal to a wide range of palates. Personally, I prefer dry, medium- to full-bodied reds with some peppery character, and I was happy to find wines that suited my taste. It's refreshing to discover a South Jersey winery that offers more than the typical sweet, fruity selections. Another nice touch is that you're welcome to bring your own food. They also have a good selection of cheeses, crackers, and other snacks available for purchase, which makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your visit. Needless to say, I ended up leaving with a few bottles to enjoy at home! Amalthea Cellars has officially earned a spot among my favorite local wineries. I'm already looking forward to returning, especially to check out some of their smaller events. If you appreciate good wine, a relaxed atmosphere, and a winery that doesn't feel like a crowded weekend playground, Amalthea is absolutely worth a visit!
