Autumn Lake Winery is such a beautiful place. The atmosphere is super relaxing, and it's just a great place to chill with good company. I'm no wine expert, but I really enjoyed what I had. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, this is the place to go.

Autumn Lake's venue has transformed over the last several years! We enjoy all of their spaces indoor and out (weather permitting!) There's usually a food truck on site during the weekend. They offer charcuterie boxes at the wine bar. There's 3 flight options, but bottles, glasses, and a wine beverage (juice mixed with one of their wines).

Blaufrankisch - my first taste of my three dry red flight. The only drinkable wine in the flight.

This review is more like a 2.5. Pros *Beautiful views of lake *Nice interior *Plenty of of indoor and outdoor seating options Cons *Wine taste and quality *No by the glass sales *Limited offering especially for flights *Lack of information/greeting upon arrival for a new guest *No tastings offered just flights I love to visit a new winery. We decided to visit Autumn Lake at 12noon Saturday 12.2.23 to start my birthday weekend off. We were not greeted immediately upon entry to the bar area despite four staff doing things close by and only two guests being seated at that point in time. There was no flight or tasting info on the bar. I looked at the full bottle menu while we waited to be acknowledged. We then checked in for our reservation and were told where our table was. Still, no information on anything whatsoever. While we got situated at our table I looked at their website to see if I could find the wine flight info. No. We go to the bar and basically say "How does this work? You offer flights? What is your offering?" She then fished a wine flight placard out from behind the bar and puts it in front of us. Very limited. I like dry reds. I had one choice and it was a 3 wine flight. The flight is served in plastic cups with lids, that then go in a paper tray of sorts with your wine glass laid down in it. I honestly could not believe my eyes. First, super wasteful given they are all one time use items. Second, ruins the experience entirely. This wasn't worthy of a wine enjoyment experience in both of our opinions. I felt like I was in a cafeteria. It cheapened the experience and was simply weird. I did not care for the Cab or Chambourcin at all. They tasted of fumes and the metal they were fermented in. The Blaufrankisch was drinkable. I got hit with heartburn immediately while drinking these wines. I never get heartburn. It was my birthday so I wanted to stay and relax. There was another red on the menu that I wanted to give a try but they don't offer glass sales and they only offer one red flight that you cannot customize. They have taps on the wall behind the bar too. Not sure what those are for. So, we left a mere 60 minutes later. I never visit a winery without buying at least 1-2 bottles. I love wine. I typically purchase a 1/2 or whole case. I purchased nothing today. I honestly don't get all of these good reviews. We will not be back.

Down Home Red was a bottle I bought without a sip to taste. Fearless and no regrets! It was tasty and has less of an acidic sour aftertaste most reds have. I'd gladly buy another. My friend had the Down Home White and it was drier, a little more tart. During late Fall 2020 year, they had fire pits (beware of smoke) seats and picnic tables in both sunny or shade areas. There isn't a cover cost and a lunch truck was on site. My group of friends had a table reserved in advanced. Everything was super easy and covid friendly. Staff kept it clean & clear. We brought food to munch on and just hang out. Although, I did buy a lunch truck sandwich. I really look forward to going back when it warms up outside again (covid pending).

This is a rwalky nice laid back place. Its located within a short drive from most South Jersey areas. During the Summer they have a lot of great local talent as well as different food truck vendors. It has a great view of the lake. The Winery is really nice and there is outdoor dining. The emoloyees are really nice.

Such a great winery at an amazing location! I went here on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. I called ahead to make a reservation the day of, which I would recommend to do. They have a ton of great selections to choose from. We selected their Down Home red wine, which is one of their sweet wines. The winery sits near a lake, which makes for some spectacular views! This was my second time here, and both times they have had live music. Also, they allow you to bring your own food too, which is a really nice feature not all wineries offer! Overall, I definitely recommend checking this place out for a nice relaxing afternoon!

I actually have never heard of this winery; I came across it while doing a bit of research of cute spots in the area. This is definitely a hidden gem. The staff here are all sweet and accommodating. My boyfriend and I got a bottle of Rosé, which we enjoyed. The view was incredible- we sat at a table gazing over the beautiful lake. There was live music and a food truck to top it all off. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you love waterfront views!

Great place to enjoy the day. Beautiful lake, good wine, nice people. They definitely know how to run a winery. Will go back for sure.

White Horse is located about an hour from Philadelphia. The property is beautiful, the staff laid back & friendly. We sampled two flights, three tastes in each. Some selections didn't send me (like Albarino and Merlot.). I loved the Cab Franc, but my family did not. (Good thing, since it's $42.50 a bottle.). In the mood for rose, we purchased a bottle of the reserve and enjoyed it with a charcuterie board. White Horse Winery is dog friendly, imperative since I have a little furry house guest this week. Saturday afternoon we were entertained by singer/guitarist Zac Run. (Zac makes his rounds at restaurants, local wineries and distilleries. He's quite good!) By mid-afternoon the winery was hopping with a birthday gathering and what looked like two bachelorette parties. There's plenty of seating on the porch, inside and on the grounds. I look forward to a return visit.

There is no longer any waitstaff, the charcuterie board was substantially less than before, our fries were limp and undercooked. As someone that looked forward to our visit with great anticipation, unfortunately my very positive memories were dashed. I literally pulled up a picture of our previous charcuterie board and they acknowledged that the venue had made a conscious decision to remove certain items from the board. Thus the value is greatly reduced. Sadly, I have no immediate plans to return.

Their tasting room is beautiful but super cozy. I immediately felt relaxed the second I walked in. The winery is surrounded by forest and farmland. A picturesque landscape to admire while you drink wine! We sampled a bunch of their wines, and I finally tried their famous Shamong Blush and I get the hype now. It was smooth, sweet and went down easily. I really also enjoyed the Shamong Red and the Perfect Pear! Highly recommend doing a flight to sample different types of wines. They do have food onsite which they get from Summit Catering -- at the time of our visit (February 2025), we got the flatbread, cheeseboard, mac & cheese bites, and baked brie. Everything paired so well with the wine and just made it feel like a whole experience, not just a tasting. This is such a good spot to spend the day with your people. Date night, girls' day, family time -- you could easily hang here for hours like we did! And their event space is so pretty. As for the staff, they were very friendly. We had a friend that was stuck at work and no once did we felt they were pushing or rushing us to order something as we waited. The eggs where hard and their black beans where dry. As for the cheese plate, I felt the bread was not chewy enough and it just tasted old and dry. Though in fairness, I did like the candied belly and truffle mushroom. As for flight we ordered their dessert flight. It was good but almost felt like artificial flavoring was added to it.
