The extra covered seating is less upscale, but provides loads of space for big crowds. We came earlier in the afternoon around 1:30pm, when they were first opening. This allowed us to get Adirondack chairs on the patio close to the live music performer. The deck and patio filled up by 3:00pm almost completely. It seemed like 50% had reservations and 50% were walk ups. All the drinks we had were really delicious. There was one bottled sangria, and the rest came in carafes. We tried the blueberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and the peach tea. My personal favorite was the strawberry lemonade, but all were great. My cousin tried the wine slushees and seemed to like all three, but didn't finish the strawberry banana. Who knows if it was just all too tasty, maybe?! We also ordered fries and chicken quesadillas from the food truck on site. This was a great addition to our day of sangria tasting and I was surprised at how tasty it was. It did take about 20-25 minutes to come out though. Finally, the staff was very kind and attentive. They come around to pick up empty glasses, but you need to order inside at the bar area. The young ladies who helped us were so patient and explained everything including the wines and food menu. We walked out with purchasing at least 3 bottles each. These are the wines I can remember tasting, there were two more I cannot think of: 1. Blueberry 2. Blackberry 3. This one was outstanding, definitely tastes like Amaretto without the harsh alcohol flavor. *Smores Cream Wine - It was good, definitely like a smores. *Mocha Java Cream Wine - Our server suggested us to try this one as it was his favorite. We both dislike coffee so we were not expecting to care for this one, but we liked it more than the Smores! Definitely very chocolatey! *Strawberry Mango Cider - This was strong in strawberry with the mango being an aftertaste, but still very good and sweet! *Peach Ginger Cider - This was definitely strong in ginger, almost too much, as I would prefer a stronger peach flavor, but it was still good. Perfect because it was a solo with an acoustic guitar. They have estate wines, travel series wines from California, S. Africa, and Chile. There are whites wines, red wines, and sweet wines. Visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed our time here…read more It's a small brewery near Rowan University with an impressive taplist, friendly service, and plentiful seating. The woman bartending (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was one of the friendliest people I've ever seen working in a brewery. Incredibly personable and talkative, and really made us feel welcome. My girlfriend and I each ordered a flight, and the individual pours came with accompanying information cards about each beer, which was a nice touch. They had a large number of stouts and sours, if those are your thing, and all were excellent. The real standout for me was the Vive Mas, a green sour ale apparently designed to emulate the Taco Bell Baja Blast, but for me it evoked memories of the Ecto Cooler produced by Hi-C in the 90's. Axe and Arrow's version is a sour ale with pineapple, blue raspberry, lemonade, and marshmallow, and is absolutely delicious. Put this place on your list of NJ breweries to visit - you won't regret it.

Luckily everything i've gotten so far has been excellent. As far the the atmosphere it's great. Small and cozy. No TVs, just a place for good conversation and listening to some vinyl.
