The chicken was also "just" done as it had a wee little pink that made the eater a bit nervous about doneness. My daughter had the white wine flight and found it a good way to try multiple different options. I enjoyed the right bank red blend that was recommended based on the mixed experiences of two of us who were sharing a bottle. It was a good choice. I would recommend Turks Head for a nice evening with friends or a romantic evening with that someone special. Another great dining option in West Chester that has been under the radar.

The Wine School of Philadelphia offers professional wine certification courses and wine tasting classes, but they also have classes for beer tasting, AND brewing too! Their tasting room is beautiful but super cozy. I immediately felt relaxed the second I walked in. The winery is surrounded by forest and farmland. A picturesque landscape to admire while you drink wine! We sampled a bunch of their wines, and I finally tried their famous Shamong Blush and I get the hype now. They do have food onsite which they get from Summit Catering -- at the time of our visit (February 2025), we got the flatbread, cheeseboard, mac & cheese bites, and baked brie.
