Reserve tasting

This is a great spot in town with a beautiful tasting room, friendly knowledgeable staff and delicious wine!! Bob is wonderful and knows the wines inside and out - he's always quick to give a paring suggestion or recipe! You cannot get wines by the glass here, unless you have a membership wine card - so even more incentive to join the club! Stop in and find your new favorite wine!

William Heritage Winery is located in the heart of Haddonfield. Parking was a bit of a challenge since our visit was on a Saturday. There's metered street parking available. The winery has a very clean, sleek feel to it. It's simple, yet classy. The servers were very attentive and helpful when asked about the wine choices. I want to note, you cannot buy one by the glass here due to town restrictions but you can purchase a flight or a bottle and drink on premise. My friend is a Heritage Winery member, so she does tastings a few times a year. The only food selection was a charcuterie board, but along the Main Street there are plenty of places to dine. I was worried about getting a seat, after reading other reviews, but there were plenty of spots when I arrived. While my friend and I were there, the winery filled up, but we still received stellar service.

It took me a long time to finally get around to visiting this winery Sunday 10.29.23. We did flights at the interior bar. There is a ton of seating everywhere at this winery. It was a nice day and they had food trucks onsite. We enjoyed our flights. Highlights for us were the Reserve Chardonnay and Proprietor's Blend. Service was attentive from the ladies that greet you at the entrance to the many bar staff we encountered. They had a ton of staff on deck from what I saw. Interior atmosphere is very nice. Bar stools are comfortable. I would definitely visit this winery again in the future. Next visit we will have some of their food rather than something from the food truck.

Have tried multiple times to stop in while in the area and during their times when it's basically empty.. and we still get turned away for 2 people to sit when it clearly says on their door that "walkins welcome". Yes we didn't have a reservation but when it's not busy.... why advertise that you take walkins. Clearly you don't want my business.... have a great day!

We didn't eat so I have nothing to say about the food. I had the sweet flight my wife had the reserve tasting. I loved my flight but wife didn't enjoy hers all that much. I liked mine so much I bought a bottle to go. Overall the place was awesome. Clean for the most part except some broken glass on the floor around a table we were gonna sit at. I'm not sure why they didn't clean up the glass the entire time we were there. Doesn't really matter tho it didn't effect us or our experience. We started off with a waiter who was cool and finished with a really nice waitress. She even gave us restaurant suggestions. Asking me I say we will be back. Asking my wife I think it's gonna be a strong a maybe. Just realized I'm drinking my wine now. Yuuuuummmmmmm

Had a wonderful time! The service was knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely made our experience worth while. I had the sweet wine tasting and they were all yummy. I ended up buying a bottle of one and a four pack of cans in another. The bartender even gave us cocktail ideas on how to mix some of the wines for NYE. The cheeseboard can use some upgrades, but I'm assuming it comes lunchable style right now because of Covid. Definitely eat before you go! Or plan to find a restaurant after!

Wine

Amazing wine tasting experience! Went with family we got the sweet wine and it was really worth it. We also got the charcuterie board which was delicious. I would definitely recommend it!!! Bob was our server and he was very knowledgable and kind

Warm atmosphere

Warm and welcoming environment. Did a wine tasting at the Haddonfield tasting room, and each wine was better than the next. We didn't have a bad wine while we were here. The staff were so nice and attentive to every table in the place, which was packed. Rich was so great to tell us all about the wines we had and to tell us about the winery itself. Looking forward to returning soon! Cheers!

The Haddonfield tasting room is by far my favorite, while Mullica Hill has a nice space you can't do better than the staff here!

A GF sent me a TikTok reel of the Brewery since she has celiac & I have a GF intolerance. My husband & I enjoyed both of our flights we got. As seen in the picture provided I did a cider flight as well as my husband. Then my husband decided to try the meads and did a flight of those. I ended up just getting a 4 Oz of another cider. The staff were super helpful with recommendations & they were super friendly! We enjoyed the environment of the Brewery as well! Will definitely have to take a trip back again soon!

No beer. But the ciders and meads are phenomenal. My girlfriend and I stopped in yesterday on a Saturday afternoon, which was our first time there. We each tried a cider flight and a mead flight and loved everything. Definite standouts for me were the Mother Muse and Tulsi (both had a nice mix of sweet fruit taste with a hint of herbs like rosemary and basil) and the Ayamarcay with its decadent peanut/chocolate flavor. The story of how this place came to be is just as incredible. Founding member Christian Annese was misdiagnosed many years ago with Celiac, which led him to the world of ciders and meads. At the time, NJ laws made it incredibly difficult to brew quality cider, and mead was effectively illegal. So Christian and his partners worked tirelessly with NJ legislators to change the law, and in 2020 Armageddon opened for business. Highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of doing City Brew Tours this afternoon with our awesome tour…read moreguide Sam. What I felt stood out and made Sam's tour above all of the other various brewery tours that I've been on, is his complete understanding of the chemistry aspect of the brewing process. It's one thing to be able to understand and recite the step by step process of brewing and some of the biological and chemical reactions, but Sam said he went to school in those fields so his knowledge of this fields of study was truly outstanding (and he also had some great stories about beer as well). We visited Flying Fish (the largest and oldest brewery in New Jersey), Lunacy (a cult favorite brewery that I've actually never heard of that only brews at night given the lunar root of their name) and then Roy-Pitz (their main brewing location in not in Philadelphia, but their sours were brewed on site, which if you know anything about beer, sours and all other types of beer need to be kept separated) and Love City Brew Co (this was the last stop on our tour and was PACKED) in the Spring Garden Arts section of Philadelphia. All of the breweries we visited we got a sort of "backstage" look at their specific brewing process as well as tasted four of their beers. On the third stop we had a late lunch/early dinner of sandwiches or burgers (which I didn't even finish because I was so full). Overall based on things learned, new breweries visited, food portion size, and overall tour guiding, I'd give City Brew Tours a 10/10 if it were possible on Yelp. By the end I couldn't even drink anymore beer (I'm tiny, sue me) and left with some new appreciation of some pretty cool breweries that I had never been too. I understand that not every tour goes to the same brewery, seeing as not all will have the same availability week to week, so I'd defs be interested to do another Brew Tour and get to explore some other breweries as well. City Brew Tours was a full day of fun, facts and brews, would highly recommend!
