The Haddonfield location is more of a tasting room, so please make sure to eat before or after. Our server was very nice, he must have overheard me curious about something that wasn't on the tasting flight and let me sample it anyways. The wine was sooooo good to me! We all got the sweet tastings, very affordable. We split a bottle of the sweet summer and then each got a bottle of it to go. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some good local wine. Came to Heritage for a celebratory birthday tasting and was blown away by the space, the service, and of course, the wine! Bob was so kind and knowledgable - he gave the birthday girl a celebratory flute of champagne and gave us recommendations for upcoming releases we may like. Pinot blanc, Reuter's Blend & their Sommelier Travita for the win! Have been three times now. This is the most interesting wines I've had outside of Napa/Sonoma/Russian River Valley, CA. If you are lucky enough, Travita will be there. This lovely lady is a breath of fresh air! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and knew her stuff! Every tasting she brought out was better than the next once she knew the tasting notes my date and I preferred. William Heritage Winery is located in the heart of Haddonfield. Parking was a bit of a challenge since our visit was on a Saturday. There's metered street parking available. The winery has a very clean, sleek feel to it. It's simple, yet classy. The servers were very attentive and helpful when asked about the wine choices. I want to note, you cannot buy one by the glass here due to town restrictions but you can purchase a flight or a bottle and drink on premise. My friend is a Heritage Winery member, so she does tastings a few times a year. The only food selection was a charcuterie board, but along the Main Street there are plenty of places to dine. I was worried about getting a seat, after reading other reviews, but there were plenty of spots when I arrived. It took me a long time to finally get around to visiting this winery Sunday 10.29.23. We did flights at the interior bar. There is a ton of seating everywhere at this winery. It was a nice day and they had food trucks onsite. We enjoyed our flights. Highlights for us were the Reserve Chardonnay and Proprietor's Blend. Service was attentive from the ladies that greet you at the entrance to the many bar staff we encountered. They had a ton of staff on deck from what I saw. Interior atmosphere is very nice. Bar stools are comfortable. I would definitely visit this winery again in the future. Next visit we will have some of their food rather than something from the food truck. read more

We didn't eat so I have nothing to say about the food. I had the sweet flight my wife had the reserve tasting. I loved my flight but wife didn't enjoy hers all that much. I liked mine so much I bought a bottle to go. Overall the place was awesome. Clean for the most part except some broken glass on the floor around a table we were gonna sit at. I'm not sure why they didn't clean up the glass the entire time we were there. Doesn't really matter tho it didn't effect us or our experience. We started off with a waiter who was cool and finished with a really nice waitress. She even gave us restaurant suggestions. Asking me I say we will be back. William Heritage has a nice tasting room right in the heart of Haddonfield. The set up is nice and gives off cozy vibes. They do have good wine but not a lot to choose from. After looking back on this the entire interaction again I wanted to update this review with some further specifics which are concerning for this business. We were offered a refund for the two unopened bottles at $28 dollars a piece. We were told we would have to pay for the bottle we drank, which is fine, but again, zero acknowledgement of a miscommunication and no apology for any miscommunication. We were immediately told "you drank it so you have to pay for it". Fine, whatever. Though after reviewing my receipts I noticed something interesting... the server sneakily kept her $12.60 dollar tip on the original $90 dollar check. She refunded my $59 dollars and just kept her tip on a $90 dollar check when the total after refund was only $28+tax (for the bottle we drank). There's no way I'd tip $12.60 on a $30 dollar tab with poor service, but she just snuck the tip and kept it on my bill. This type of behavior is incredibly sketchy. I would hope the owners check these reviews and can see how this behavior is unacceptable. I'll be uploading my receipt as proof that this happened. William Heritage should be ashamed that a server would sneak a tip like this for their own benefit. Do not go here. read more

Had a wonderful time! The service was knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely made our experience worth while. I had the sweet wine tasting and they were all yummy. I ended up buying a bottle of one and a four pack of cans in another. The bartender even gave us cocktail ideas on how to mix some of the wines for NYE. I recently stopped by with a friend after dinner in Haddonfield and went for a quick drink. You are quickly check-in and given a menu (as others have mentioned in their reviews). We were sat at a table for 2 and both decided on the tasting menu. We had the classic tasting that included a cider, rose, syrah, and another red. We enjoyed all of them. Besides tasting, you can also get a bottle to share. They will recork so you can drive home. They also sell bottles that you can bring to many of the BYO restaurants in the area. Because they don't make the wine in house (nearby, but not at this facility) they can't sell by the glass. The tasting room is quaint and clean. There are about 5-6 high top tables and a larger table in the back. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely head back for another tasting of wine. read more

My three girlfriends and I came to William Heritage Winery over the weekend and loved it! I honestly did not know about it until I did a quick Google search looking for a winery in the South Jersey area for us to get together. I saw pictures of the inside of the tasting room and thought it looked so cute and inviting. I was able to make a reservation online very easily. When we arrived, I was met by Dave who was super friendly and gave great recommendations of wines for us to choose from based upon the types of wines we usually like. The space inside is beautiful and they just expanded the tasting room earlier this year. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend visiting the tasting room if you are in the area. It is a great place to meet up with friends or even enjoy a glass (or bottle!) of wine on your own after a long work day. read more

I wanted to update this. They've changed their policy on children and I'm happy we can bring our kids if we don't want to pay for a sitter. My children sit well and don't scream and run around in a public setting unless they've reached their limit. So love everything about William heritage. My wife and I have been here twice on two separate occasions only to be turned away in an otherwise empty tasting room and the excuse that we were given is that "a bunch of reservations are coming in." Got that BS excuse twice. 4 people in the whole place! They need to take "walk ins welcome" off the door and put "reservations only." My sister and I were walking around Haddonfield after Christmas and we came across William Heritage. Things have really changed since I lived in nearby Collingswood ten years ago! Both towns used to be dry and now there are breweries and even wine tasting rooms. I would have loved this when I lived in the area! We walked inside to check it out and I asked about tastings and was told that they were fully booked that day. I was mostly just curious; my sister is pregnant and I wasn't planning on tasting alone. I didn't receive the warmest welcome from their employee and when I asked about a particular wine I was told it was good. The entire exchange was honestly a bit awkward until I made it clear that I wasn't planning on sticking around for long. I asked if I could taste before purchasing a bottle and the other employee who was helping a customer turned around and said absolutely. I asked about two different reds. One was a blend of CA and NJ grapes. I haven't had much luck with NJ wines in the past and since I didn't want to take up too much time, I sipped just that wine, thought it was solid and purchased a bottle. The tasting room itself was really cute; up there with some of the prettier ones in Healdsburg and Napa. Will I be returning? TBD. read more
