Order a bottle of rum on Sat. and was assured it would be in by Monday. I told them great because I didn't need it until Thurs. when I called Tuesday to see if it was in, the gentleman told me no but it would probably be in later that day. Again I received no phone call so Wednesday late afternoon I called and they said it has been back ordered and they don't know when it will be in. I asked the gentleman when were they going to call and tell me that. He responded by saying well we can try it one more time today and hopes that it'll be here by tomorrow afternoon when I clearly told him I needed it by tomorrow morning. I told him I would never be shopping there again. I suggest you don't either. Update: Ended up finding the rum I needed at Canal's next to Burns Honda in Marlton. Even spent a few dollars less, better customer service, will be getting my business from now on. read more

I wish I could give this place a zero. Racist establishment. I came in looking for wine, and was provided subpar help. The cashier watched me run up and down the aisles looking for wine based off her poor instructions. When I came back asking for clarification and additional help, I was met with a disconnected stare. Additionally, all white customers were helped ahead of me even though I came in first. Lastly they also have Trump drinks prominently placed in the front of the store. DO NOT SHOP HERE! read more

Store is OK. Selection isn't huge but you'll probably find something that will work with whatever you are having wine-wise. Someone else said prices were high but I think they are comparable to other places for wine. They have a good website so you can go online & research what you want & even shop. They have wine tasting every Friday starting around 5 PM, but I haven't attended one, yet. It's on my To Do list. But if you want excellent, educational wine tasting and a place that sells boutique wines from Europe, you HAVE to visit Moores Brothers. The brothers were the sommeliers at some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia and New York. The wine is excellent. I don't think you can pick up a bad bottle there. I didn't mean for this to be a review of their store - but if you are looking for ,say a quick, inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon, or a cheap bottle of something sparkling to mix with orange juice, Trainos will do. If you want a wine experience...you have to try Moores. Oh, and Moores has wine tasting every day. (I think there is room for both types of stores in this world). I don't go for the whiskey, etc., so can't speak in that. But I saw it mentioned in other reviews. read more

Ginormous selections. They have large tasting sampler area in the middle center. We had been looking for a wine we'd seen once in Italy. Had never found it again and this place had it! May 25th ordered a fairly expensive bottle of rum ($450) for a Father's Day present for my 83yr old stepfather as a surprise. Received an email receipt of order. June 1st called as to the status. After four phone calls and two different people, I was told the delivery to them (so they didn't have it and had to purchase it from somewhere??) didn't make it and they'd get it next week. I asked if it would be here for Father's Day and was completely assured that it would be (note today's date...). "No problem!" On June 11th I received an email saying the order was processed (so it took them over 2 weeks just to process it). And knowing it needed to be in Portland Oregon by June 16th, they sent it FedEx ground.... These people are completely inept if they're to think that it's going to get across the country in 5 days with FedEx. What's up with liquor stores being built next to Dunkin Donuts? There's a setup like this in Mt. Laurel off Route 38, but I digress. Courteous staff and great selection of beer. This Traino's location is a good local place to grab a bottle of wine, beer, lottery tickets, etc. If you are a big red wine drink, especially Cabernet's and French wines, it's not a huge selection. I do have to say that the owner is very friendly and will always order anything special, if requested. She does know her wines very well. Parking can be a pain at times, especially on sports game days or early morning rush at Dunkin Donuts. There is an additional location on Evesham in the Voorhees/Marlton area as well. read more

They offered curbside pick up with no estimated time and claimed that the order won't be ready until Tuesday. So we called after spending $350 on alcohol and the lady on the phone was extremely rude. They claimed that they did not have the order ready and had none of the inventory in stock. Apparently a small clock next to the online item meant that it was currently out of stock. Not only is this a wonderful liquor store in the South NJ area, but I also had the pleasure of attending Traino's event to support the Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ. In the past, the event has supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation. They truly put on a great event, demonstrating how many different wines, beers, & liquors they have available. They are also raise money and collect donations for Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey. So not only does Traino's have a wonderful selection as I previously mentioned, but the Traino's team is a wonderful part of the Marlton community. read more

This is a great place to get anything alcohol related at very good prices...even snacks, too. The younger staff are usually less than helpful, but near the wine sample machine is a very nice older woman who seems to be the manager. She will help you with any questions you have about alcohol, such as wine pairings and your specific tastes for whatever event you are having. Don't be shy to ask her questions if you see her, she will unlock the machine with her key and offer a sample if the place isn't too busy. That's what elevates the whole experience, as compared to other liquor store competition. read more

Traino's Marlton has a very decent wine selection as well as all of your favorite beers and booze. The staff is so friendly, and they don't take crap from underage punks. It's another reason that I frequent there; I've seen on a few occasions how they treat people who come in with no ID. It's common sense to bring your ID for alcohol, and they pull no punches in their denial of service to people who try and give them the runaround. read more

I think Traino's is one of the best liquor stores in the area. If they don't have something in stock they make sure that they go the extra mile to help bring the item in! Nina is always full of knowledge and the rest of the staff is always super friendly and willing to help. I recommend them to everyone! They're also doing this new monthly sale on entire sections of the store which is great for trying out new things and saving while doing it! read more

I went there for the first time last month. When i was in Spain about a year ago I had this unbelievable Pedro Ximenex sherry. I went to Traino's and a wonderful woman assisted me in finding just the right sherry that I was looking for. This store is well stocked and the employees are very knowledgeable. I wish I could give 10 stars. I don't understand the negative posts. I am in there on a regular basis and I've seen their online shopping process (no I don't have a drinking problem). They're definitely not a racist establishment and they do not push their political views on anyone. Everyone there does their part to give great customer service and if the person you asked for help can't help you they find someone who can. Anyone who can read their website knows certain products take time to order. When it comes to shipping you get to pick how you'd like it sent. So again, the negative feed back is ridiculous. Prices are prices. Sometimes they're higher and sometimes they're lower. I feel like almost everything I want or need to purchase is on sale or they have coupons. Trainos has been around for many many years I will always recommend them! read more

This was the first time and last time I will do business with these folks. I'm from Tennessee and needed a bottle of whiskey delivered to my son who lives in Greenville SC. This particular whiskey was not sold in SC and their website stated they were a stocking wholesaler and could Fedex the bottle to him. On 7/12/18, I ordered the whiskey online and requested fedex delivery by 7/18/18 (his birthday). My order was processed and my credit card charged at 3:41 p.m. that same day. The delivery charge was close to $21.00. The order placed on 7/12/18 with 7/18/18 delivery: 1.) 7/17/18 - Traino waited 5 days to order the shipping label from Fedex. Fedex received traino's request on 7/17/18 @ 4:00 pm requesting pick up (5 days after order placed and 1 day before promised delivery) the next day. 2.) 7/18/18 - Fedex picked up my package the next day. The Fedex email I received stated the order was "tendered" on 7/18/18. So Traino paid Fedex on the 18th (the day I was promised delivery of the birthday present and 6 days after I paid them). 3.) 7/20/18 - Fedex delivered the order to South Carolina. 4.) The day I ordered the whiskey-7/12/18-I contacted Traino to question the amount charged to my card. The amount was not the advertised price and I was assured this would be corrected - to date this has not been corrected. 5.) During that conversation, I also asked if they had the whiskey in stock and if the 7/18/18 delivery would be an issue. I was told not to worry and that they had plenty of the whiskey in stock. 6.) The most disturbing issue was that an hour after my credit card information was entered on Traino's website for payment I received a call and text from my bank reporting unauthorized fraudulent use of my card in Florida! Thankfully, The bank suspended use of the card and we requested it be canceled. The bank confirmed the Traino charge was processed. I contacted Traino immediately and told them what had happened & there might be issues with their website. I was told their "internet guy" would call me back - still waiting. Please be careful!! Also please refer to the review dated 6/16/18 - others are having similar issues regarding timely deliveries. read more

Not a huge place, not a huge beer selection, but still has a certain Mom-and-Pop charm to it as a place that's been around for decades. Very nice selection of wines; "Nina's Picks" will rarely steer you wrong, and Nina herself is pleasant and helpful. read more

I live up the street from this store and would love to go here all the time. Ask Nina for great wine advice. She knows a ton and is very helpful. Unfortunately, the prices here are high. I just tried to buy a six-pack of west coast beer for the listed price of $10.49 and found out that that was for a 4 pack, but they had a 6 pack over the price label. It didn't ring up and I was told that the price was actually $15 for the 6 pack. They have a good bourbon selection but again the prices are high. They sell bottles for $5 more than most other places, and some scotch prices are close to $10 to $15 higher than other stores. Go here in a pinch, or if you want good wine advice, but avoid this place if you are looking for low prices. read more
