I walked into the store with my daughter after grabbing coffee…read morenext door and she walked beside me the whole time just scrolling on her phone.  When we got to the counter, we were told both of us needed IDs, even after I explained the purchase was mine.  The reasoning we were given, was that they said they had an issue where their workers were selling to underage kids, so they had to BUCKLE DOWN on carding people.  We were told a manager would come speak to us, but that never happened. Instead, another employee came out and refused the sale without any clear explanation.  I understand stores have policies, which I appreciate and understand from a business owners mindset. But the lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing, and not the customer service experience you should receive whatsoever.  An actual explanation- (I don't want to know or hear that your business has been selling to underage kids) or having the manager actually come out would have made a big difference. Will not be returning simply because the customer service experience and communication was handled HORRIBLY!!!
