Total wine is a big store! It is divided into wine, spirits and beer which makes it easier. They have a large selection of wine, beer and spirits. Sales associates are easy to find. They are generally knowledgeable. The person I asked for help finding the Emily in Paris wine looked at me like I was nuts and said oh that's a show. He said he never heard of it but I showed him in the website. We finally found it! The sales associate who checked me out was super nice. Samples are usually available too! read more

My love and I had a fun time celebrating Valentine's Day early at a Chocolate and Wine Tasting class at Total Wine and More! This is the second class we've attended at the Cherry Hill location. They always have a robust calendar of monthly events, many of which are only $20 per person. So reasonable! You must purchase your tickets in advance (online). Seating is open (classroom style) and they provide light refreshments at the start of the event (meats, cheeses, fruit, and crackers). I am a big proponent of hydration and they have tons of water on hand. The classes are led by Total Wine and More employees and each person has their own unique style. They normally start with a PowerPoint presentation about the featured wines, and then wine sipping begins shortly thereafter. Our only "gripe" is the time it takes for the wine glasses to be filled. They have one person filling the glasses, and when the class is packed, it takes them a while to get to everyone. This disrupts the flow of the session. It may be beneficial to begin filling the glasses at the start of the class, rather than just as we are about to begin tasting. That aside, we always walk away feeling like we learned something valuable and fun. They offer nice discounts if you decide to purchase the wines you sampled. They in no way pressure you to purchase anything you tasted. We look forward to attending additional events! read more

twice that i've been to this store, in the past five months. both times, i asked a clerk where the flavored shots that come in a four pack were. couldn't remember, where i found them last time. both times, i was shown the little individual bottles. neither clerk knew. neither clerk would look it up in their manual to tell me what aisle to look in. had to find it, both times on my own. other issue was drambuie. they only had one brand, one size. read more

Total Wine & More continues to be a strong stop for a bourbon hunt. My latest hunt took me to the Cherry Hill location, and once again it delivered. I have been here many times and the level of service is consistently solid. The staff is knowledgeable across wine, spirits, and craft beer, and they ask the right questions to help guide you to the right picks. I also really appreciate the employee selection tags placed throughout the store, they are genuinely helpful and not just filler. This is a great store for both beginner and seasoned bourbon hunters. Being able to sample certain spirits before buying is a big plus and can save you from a regret bottle. There were some excellent store buys along with a few bottles priced above secondary, so it pays to be smart. I was especially happy to finally find Ben Holladay Soft Red Wheat and Horse Soldier Bourbon, both of which I had been hunting for. I walked out with some solid bottles and will definitely keep coming back when the hunt brings me this way. read more

We attended several of their wine education classes. They come with four samples along with a tasty spread. The instructor gives a lively presentation that is just the right length to hold your attention. I FELL FOR THE TOTAL WINE SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT fall for the free tastings like I did. I tasted First Call "bourbon" and the seller was very insistent it's the "best." Like a sucker, I trusted the associate. Guess what? It's the WORST bourbon (see Google reviews). Total Scam Wine has a "deal" with a distributor to sell swill to their unassuming customers, and guess what, this poison First Call is on their BEST LIST?!!!! How did that happen? SCAM!!!! Yes, I bought First Call "bourbon water" on my own, but the lesson is to NEVER BUY FROM TOTAL WINE again. NEVER TRY A TASTING. A specific moonshine I had been wanting to try only was at this nearby TW&M. I had never been here or any TW&M so I didn't know what to expect. I was totally blown away. This business moved from one building of the strip mall to another even larger one. This place is a warehouse of thousands of wines, beers, and hard liquors arranged mostly like a supermarket with the aisles clearly marked as to what's available. The place is well lit, clean, and has plenty of helpful staff. They also offer free sampling of many things some of which are in the aisles. I was tempted to knock a star because they did not have two specific wines I was looking for. Oh well. Even with the awesome selection, they just can't carry everything. This place is so much better than our State Stores in PA. Prices seemed to be decent, and a lot of people were shopping when I was there. Grab your cart and get shopping. I was in Cherry Hill for another event. And so I checked the website of my second favorite cider brand, Hudson North - and they said they had their newest flavor (Ski Trip) in stock at Total Wine - so naturally I had to come to buy some. The cider row was totally stocked w great sounding cans. I ended up buying a bunch of other ciders too. Love that they had the option to purchase single cans - although I didn't do that option at this time. The entrance isn't that easy to locate but they have small signs directing you to the entrance. Pulled up a d clicked the link, entered my pickup Parking spot number and waited. Wait time was fairly quick. I checked my order and the worker loaded everything into the trunk. All done!! Well the person I was with wanted some bottles so into the store we went. Atmosphere: bright and organized. Big store. My first time at a Total Wine. Service: Great! They have a customer service desk and people are walking around who can assist. Selections are vast! Luckily, Total Wine has the wine my friend wanted for his birthday. However, the delivery guy went to the wrong address and refused to go to the correct address. This location was extremely helpful I needed assistance by the staff multiple times. I really like the way that total Wine and more stores are laid out it's extremely easy to find what you're looking for. I spent way too long in the beer cans section just looking at all the beer cans are. Because the holidays are coming up soon they have a lot of packaged alcohol for example two Prosecco and one box for a cheaper rate. They also have an advent calendar for alcohol it was like $180 but how cool is that you can try a new alcohol per day. There never seems to be an issue with checking out the lines always go very smoothly and you can have a reward system where you gain points and probably rewards from that which is nice. read more

They have hard liquors like Gin, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey, basically every kind of alcoholic beverage you can think of. They also have a section where you can buy wine gifts, cigars and chocolates. So basically this store is AWESOME! If you are looking for cheap priced wine, they have specials where you can buy certain brands from $2.50 and up. Cant beat that! Being exposed to Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits my whole life, going into Total Wine made me feel like a kid in a candy store. It's a one stop shop for every kind of alcoholic beverage known to man. I came here to purchase a specific wine that Wine & Spirits seldom has in stock. I browsed around the different wines and to my surprise, this particular wine I wanted was right there in plain sight and there was a large quantity available. I didn't need to ask an associate for help because it was super easy to find. I love that they stock the shelves well enough to make it look like nothing ever runs out. They also carry a wide assortment of wine bottle toppers, gift bags for wine, gift sets, bottle openers, aerators, cigars, alcoholic gummies, etc. You name it, they've got it! It's my favorite place to get booze and booze accessories. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the customer service. The woman at the register didn't say hello or ask how we were doing. She rang up my transaction and asked me to insert my chip into the machine. Handed me my receipt and sent me on my way. It was really uncomfortable. I have been blatantly profiled here several times over the years, they decide when they want to enforce their policies... Debbie and Dave are a very condescending duo. I am surprised at the unprofessionalism and lack of product knowledge from the manager, Dave, who appears to be cosplaying in his white shirt and tie. Best choice for stocking up on alcohol! I had to purchase a lot of wine last minute, and asking around heard Total Wine would be the cheapest. Not only was that true, but I got 20% on most wines for signing up for their rewards programs, and a future 20% off coupon on most wines. Everyone was so friendly, including one woman from the wine tasting that helped me pick out cheaper bottles that would still taste good! They have a huge store and selection, so I'd recommend trying here first for your wine needs (and wine accessories like gift bags and wine openers). I know I should be giving five stars like all of you. I look at the right side of my screen and see a sea of five stars. But to be honest, three stars is a stretch for me. Maybe it's because I haven't primarily stopped in for the wine selection. But even the one time I looked at that, I couldn't find the types that I like and can easily find at places like Wegmans. Or maybe it's because I'm in my mid-twenties but look like I'm in my late teens. Whenever I ask for help at this store, I'm half-shrugged off. Yesterday, I asked if they had a beer by name. The guy didn't reply, so I specified: "It's a session IPA," and he snapped that he knew that -- but that he didn't think they had it anymore. He didn't check anywhere or act half interested past that, which was frustrating. I then drove down the street and easily found the session at Canal's. At the check-out, the cashiers have always been rude. At least let me put the basket down before you bark for my ID so you can analyze it for five minutes and use your little scanner. Please trust that your scanner is not conning you and then treat me like a human. And, for the record, if you had given me a second, I would've offered up my ID before you asked...like I always do at other stores! I've had enough with this Total Wine, since I've yet to have such problems at any other area liquor store. Bate and Switch ? Total Waste & More. I browsed the web looking for for a specific limited edition bottle of Ardbeg Blaaak Committee Release Scotch. Their website showed stock, but no online ordering. I called and spoke with a young lady at the Cherry Hill Store. She informed me that they indeed had one bottle in stock. I requested to pay over the phone, and pick it up, which she denied. She was emphatic that I couldn't pay in advance, they wouldn't hold the bottle, it was clearly limited availability, and first come first serve. No other options. Since I was well over an hour away, I called a friend and asked the them to pick it up for me. Surprise Surprise, they get there, and NO Ardbeg Blaaak. Seems it shows that there is stock on the computer, but none on hand. I specifically asked her, and she LIED. I called the store while my friend was still in the parking lot, stunned to hear this, and requested to speak with the manager. After waiting on hold, Kim, a manager from a different store came on the line and apologized and said in her store, it was standard protocol to check availability before confirming they had something in stock. I asked for the store manager to call me, but that never happened. I guess he was just to busy and could care less. It was a waste of my friends time to drive a half hour one way, and a waste of a favor. They should change the name to Total Waste & more! Very disappointing. read more
