There is one reason to go to Blue Coast instead of Chipotle: my wife's love of the taco soup. She loves it! Unfortunately, it's only seasonal or at least it has been this year. But when it is in, she has to have it often. lol For me, the food is not as good as Chipotle and on par with Moe's. The meat is in liquid so most of the flavor washes off. It also doesn't taste as fresh or as clean as Chipotle. The steak, for instance, is weird chunks with smooth ends unlike Chipotle, where you can tell this was grilled and then sliced. That said, for the most part we are satisfied when we go. This last visit, we got a couple chicken salads, my wife's soup, and a burrito. Everyone was happy with the food afterward. So it's good. But not great, imo. The employees were wearing masks, although noses showed like most places. Social distancing was enforced. The place was clean. read more

Went in last night for some togo food at 8:15pm. I was told the grills/fryers were shut off and they couldn't make my order. 45 minutes before closing??? I understand the staff may want to clean and go home, however when your location doesn't close until 9pm, that's just sounds like you don't want to work. Pretty delicious! Clean interior, nicely decorated. Friendly staff, quick service. Food was yummy. Style is like chipotle or those other "create your own" places. I got the Cabo bowl with spicy chicken & lots of other delish toppings (picture attached). Lots of food for a very decent price. Can't complain. AMAZING ESTABLISHMENT! They have a few locations in middle Tennessee but they all are about the same thing which is great service, smiling faces, and amazing food. I like their fresh selections of salsas and unique ones with pineapple and mango. The fruit teas are pretty good as well and it's a quick burrito place that puts Mo's Southwest to shame! read more

I never have been impressed by BCB but this visit takes the cake. I placed my order online (paid in advance) at 6:08pm. Confirmation email said my one burrito and chips would be ready at 6:30. I arrived at 6:30 and gave my name to the girl at the register. She acknowledged me with an "umph." And I stood waiting for 10 minutes. I went to her a second time and said "Hey I just want to make sure you guys received my order," gave my name again. "Oh yeah, I think she is working on it." --points to another young lady strolling around the food counter holding a tortilla. "Mmm hmm" I think and go sit down. 6:50 rolls around and I go back up to the counter. There's a guy in a polo there now, and I say "Hey man I'm not trying to be ugly but my ONE burrito and chips were supposed to be ready at 6:30. I ordered it at 6:08, it's 6:50" "Oh I'm sorry, what's the name?" I give him my name. He turns around and looks at a white to-go bag that's been sitting on the counter since before I got there. He grabs it and hands it to me. "I'm sorry about that, we can remake it if you'd like." I politely refused the remake as at this point I am starving. TLDR summary: Do yourself a favor and go on down the road to Moe's. It may be forced, but at least they make an effort to recognize and serve their patrons. read more

Very disappointed with our visit today. We arrived a little after 2. There was 1 couple in front of us yet it took 20 min to get our food. We ordered fish tacos and I was pleased they cooked the fish fresh everything else took too long. We had ASK for a combo, salsa, etc. The ice machine was broken. Most of the workers had their mask pulled down UNDER their nose! The cashier was also dipping out chips for salsa without gloves. I observed her moving the trash can after handling the chips and before moving to the cash register. I didn't see one table wiped off while we ate there. read more

I give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 because of their consistency and the easy delivery process. Personally the food is much better if you go in and get take out. The downside of getting delivery is that especially if you get there amazing taco salad it's pretty soggy by the time to get to your house , unless your smart enough to get your dressing on the side. So excited that the 2nd location has opened up in the boro! The facility was very clean and the staff was extremely bubbly and helpful. The decor is still the cali beach theme. And their salsa bar had the vw bug hood as the cover. The food is just as delicious as the original location, however we did notice that our burritos were not tightly wrapped and kept falling open. Most likely because the staff was high school aged kids that are still learning. But it was still a very delightful experience and the pineapple salsa is still the best thing ever! read more

BCB 1st timer: Not the greatest of experiences, but overlooking that, the food was good enough to try again. When I walked in, the (young) workers looked confused as to who would take my order. After going back & forth w each other behind the counter, a girl assisted me. I got the Caba Bowl, which was tasty; however, my side order of chips were very stale and I ended up throwing them away. We come here way to often! But it's so yummy! My Hubbs always gets 3 steak tacos but I like a quesadilla or a chicken salad. If you haven't tried the honey mustard here you should! And the guacamole is super yummy too! But my favorite are the chips!!! Can't beat them! read more

I didn't order mushrooms and I also ordered a plain Jane chicken quesadilla with cheese only. If you're wanting your order correct go inside the restaurant. It's funny because I had just told someone I really liked this place and then Implaced my order for Baja fish tacos. They served them different this time. They loaded them with onions (bleh), put the cabbage and crema on the bottom which left the taco too soggy to pick up, sliced up the fish so it fell out of the taco, and served it on an uncooked flour tortilla. Decided to give them another go and ordered fish tacos again 2 weeks later.
